Thanks for sharing your trapping procedures and how you decide what you do at each site. Buy the grandkids a set of drums so they can drive mom and dad crazy 🤣🤣
Thanks for the recent updates. Footholds turn smart beavers into dead beavers. Enjoy the family time. I recall watching a video where you go over setting up your Lund SSV. Can’t find it anymore. Removed or am I blind?
Oh for sure, the only reason I sold it was because I bought the other trapline, had to re-position some funds, great boat, with the floors I added I would suggest going to a 40hp, but for just 2 people, the 30 was sufficient. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.
When I was working on pipelines, I would always collect flanges that would end up in scrap, but any chunk of steel will work, around 15 pounds, In the past I used rocks or railway tie plates as well, even an old excavator tooth works good, the cable I use is 3/32" 7X7. Hope this help, Thanks!

Well you got me convinced, I think I’m going to order and try some foot holds for beaver. It’d be a first for me. 👍✌️
They sure are effective, many ways of doing it and I don't claim to have the ultimate solution or know it all, but it works for me. Good luck!

Thanks! I did remove that video since I had sold the boat, I will try and find it and re-post it for you.
@@whatido3021 Thanks. I’ve been looking at used SSVs. Care to share why you decided to sell?

If a beaver comes up on a dead trapped beaver will it avoid that area?
Not at all, I've had them on camera where they crawl over a dead beaver to get to the Aspen tree used as bait.
Не знаю как Вы относитесь к России 🇷🇺 но Ваши видео можно использовать как учебник траппера👍
Thanks! I don't get involved in politics so to me Russia is just another neighbor, wished everyone could just get along!
What you using for a drownder weight and what size cable enjoyed the video's
