I think this is the best song of seedhe maut... I have a theory and i can't stop myself from sharing this... I found this story lots of time ago.. but i never share this...
As in "anadi " seedhe maut shows the perspective of a father.. and i was thinking that why he had not make a song on his mother.. then i realised that this song is for parents also.. it is from the perspective where a boy doesnt like his parents because of their stritct behaviour.. and at a point they realised their sacrifices... And thats when encore says "thik hain mere liye na gaa ye gana par apne liye gaa tu".... Now the boy want to see their parents happy...

Talking of interpretations of the song, this song takes me back to a story from my childhood about a man who confronts God when he is dead. When he reaches the afterlife, God shows him his life as footprints in sand. The man complains that when he was happy there were 2 sets of footprints(his and God's) but in his lowest moments there was only 1 set, hence complaining, God wasn't there for him when he needed him the most. God explains that in his lowest times, God was the one carrying him which explains the one set of fingerprints.
