Nice work Rusty its been a couple of seasons I haven't been out coyote hunting and this vid really brings back memories because I do a lot of coyote hunting by myself. I don't know what took you so long to pull the trigger and thought you were just demonstrating how much a coyote would return to the call or decoy I don't know but that was exciting to watch. Thanks
Thanks man I'm glad you liked it The reason I take so long to shoot the coyote is because the dogs don't learn unless you keep them on the coyotes as much as possible

I'm a big AR-15 fan, and watch a lot of the hunting to see what the rifles will do. However, this Decoy Dogging is fascinating. I figure once in awhile, a dog gets bitten pretty bad, but the way they work is something to see.

Coyotes will hide while one tries to tempt the dog into following it. Then the coyotes kill the dog. This is the reverse.
What do you do with dead coyotes? You don’t eat them, right ? You sell them for their pelts and tails right? I would really love to own a couple of tails. I had one one my car antena but got stolen.
No definitely don't eat them and when the season is right we will skin them and sell the hide but in the summertime when it's hot like this they're not worth anything so we're pretty much just having fun with it and doing our part to help around our neighborhood in keeping the coyote problem down

Dude put a spiked collar on those dogs! We use them in Caucasus to protect sheepdog from wolf and bear. Make sheep dog impossible to kill. It protect the dog neck.

I can't believe I watched this hole video with inly 1 kill. You started out trying over 500 yards, but several came in and all you seemed to do was video them, they stopped and gave you what seemed to be perfect shots, but you didn't take them. Your shooting is good, but need to work on when to shoot and hitting them !!!
