Thank you - your reaction was great! Dan Vasc has sung all these 10 tracks newly and exclusively for this compilation, which was released in August 2020. Please watch his face and you will know. In summary, here's what I know: Dan had not performed the songs from tracks 1, 2, 7, 9, and 10 before. He had previously performed the songs from tracks 4, 6, and 8, and the songs from tracks 3 and 5 he had already performed twice before. Track 4, Dragonforce's "Through The Fire And Flames," was first performed by Dan 13 years ago.

I believe this was created all together. The first time I watched it, I assumed they were all just clips from the songs but, If you look at the transition from #5 “Dawn of Victory” and #6 Sabaton’s “The Last Stand”, he shifts from one song to the other, so I believe these were created specifically for this. Also, he is wearing the “Dan’s Law” shirt throughout. I am not a media whiz, so I could be mistaken..
He has done full performances of some of them & yes The Last Stand by Sabaton is one of them - it's awesome. The idea for this video, according to Dan Vasc, was him & Victor the Guitar Nerd deciding what the 10 most epic power metal choruses were and then playing them together. As to your question, yes Dan has recorded some of these songs individually. Carry On - Angra... Jun 2019, as a tribute to the passing of Andre Matos. Through The Fire and The Flames - DragonForce...2010 - this one was done as a choir and orchestral works piece. Dawn Of Victory - Rhapsody...solo version, Jun 2019, duet collab w/ Fabio Lione SEP 2022. The Last Stand - Sabaton... Oct 2020. March Of. Time - Helloween... Aug 2018. I would love to hear Dan do full versions of the other songs in the video, maybe one day he'll do them, but probably not anytime soon as he is working on a Manowar tribute album, as well as something with Eric July/RipperVerse so he might be just a smidge busy at the moment...😉🥴 🙃🐨🇦🇺

If you looked at the clothes of Dan and Victor, there were al the time the same and by one sing you can see that he is singing already a sentence for the next song on screen. I’m hard of hearing, so I have to read lips and look at bodylanguage, so these things were significant for me. I also read here somewere down below that Dan indeed made videos for this compilation . Dan's 10 Metal Songs is a favorite and I play it often. He and Victor totally rocked it on this one as they do everything. For the Rhapsody one, Fabio Lione (of Rhapsody) actually came to Dan's place and recorded it with him and Dan's band Fearless. It's awesome!
Victor the Guitar Nerd, aka Victor Jonasson, joined the Swedish band Eleine last October, so I’m curious if he will be able to collaborate with Dan as much. And, I guess I’m late to the game, but I just recently figured out that Tommy Johansson was formerly part of Sabaton. I will be the first to admit that my metal band knowledge is skimpy, though. It does make me wonder if Tommy and Dan will ever work on something together. Thanks, Josh!
Yes, Tommy leaves Sabaton to have time for his band Majestica, his songs and other projects. He says it was the hardest decision ever but all his stuff, the 25th anniversary of Sabaton, the US-Tour with Judas Priest in Spring..... hard to handle. He would have stayed as long as it takes to train a new guitarist, but as the new guitarist is the old one (before his time) - Thobbe Englund - he'll not have to train him. Btw. The genre of Sabaton is something like Historical Power Metal, as most of their songs are about historical events - especially military history. That's what I know by now. I hope this long comment is a bit informative for you. And whether Tommy and Dan one day will do something together - let's see, the decision is up to them - even if a lot of people would like them to. 🎶

By the way... Helloween and Blind Guardian are awesome Metal Bands from Germany. Dan´s cover of "Dr. Stein" (Helloween) is EPIC! And please do a reaction to Sabaton, the great Swedish Metal Band 🤘. Maybe "Smoking Snakes", "To Hell and Back" or "Christmas Truce" and "1916" (Motörhead Cover). The videos to the last two songs are epic... had goose bumps. Oh, and Dan did a cover of Smoking Snakes, too, a song about three Brasilian Heroes in WW2.
I don't know any of these songs because I don't listen to metal, but I really liked it. Maybe I'll check the originals out. Dan is so freaking talented.
If it weren't for Dan, I'd have never discovered my other favorite metal bands, bc, before Dan, I wasn't into metal. But now I absofrickinlutely love Dan's metal, Sabaton, Nightwish, Blind Guardian, Dragon Force, Amy Lee, and so on. But Sabaton is my mostest favorite, after Dan & Dan's own metal band called Fearless. Oh Josh, Sabaton kicks butt. Be prepared to go through their song lists with each new one becoming your favorite, just like we do with Dan's list. Don't miss their: Winged Hussars Night Withes Red Baron To Hell & Back Ghost Division First Soldier Primo Victoria BISMARCK Dreadnaughts And the rest of them.
Saw this and jumped on it as soon as possible. He has done at least most of them as separate entities. As for the different guitars...they are all Victor's, and he's the only guitarist in this video. 😀 I can't pick a favorite out of all of these. They are ALL my favorites. By the way... Helloween and Blind Guardian are awesome Metal Bands from Germany. Dan´s cover of "Dr. Stein" (Helloween) is EPIC! And please do a reaction to Sabaton, the great Swedish Metal Band 🤘. Maybe "Smoking Snakes", "To Hell and Back" or "Christmas Truce" and "1916" (Motörhead Cover). The videos to the last two songs are epic... had goose bumps. Oh, and Dan did a cover of Smoking Snakes, too, a song about three Brasilian Heroes in WW2.

I don't know any of these songs because I don't listen to metal, but I really liked it. Maybe I'll check the originals out. Dan is so freaking talented.

If it weren't for Dan, I'd have never discovered my other favorite metal bands, bc, before Dan, I wasn't into metal. But now I absofrickinlutely love Dan's metal, Sabaton, Nightwish, Blind Guardian, Dragon Force, Amy Lee, and so on. But Sabaton is my mostest favorite, after Dan & Dan's own metal band called Fearless. Oh Josh, Sabaton kicks butt. Be prepared to go through their song lists with each new one becoming your favorite, just like we do with Dan's list.

I can't pick a favorite out of all of these. They are ALL my favorites. You might enjoy watching "Viking Reacts" (Carlos) react to this set, though. He does very interesting videos--especially DAN videos (grin).
