My mother in-law was hard core Buick. She had 3 Lesabres over maybe 15 years and her last car before passing was an 08 LaCrosse. 3800 is right up there with Chevy 250s and Ford 300s at being bulletproof. Surviving after a nuclear war LOL. But I always thought those cars were dull. Torquey but not really fast. Scary if you were really pushing it. Soft springs. Easy to find the bump stops up front just in daily driving. Excellent daily A to B machines though. I'd buy one tomorrow if I needed that daily reliability.
I paid $100 for a 1980 Malibu one time and $75 for a Monte Carlo. Drove them til they quit.
