It's kind of a smart business tactic, honestly. This is a bonus prerelease promo video for a B-side from the new album, it wouldn't make sense to blow all their budget on it and have it overshadow the actual title track and MV. I do wish we got a full MV though, that's just me being selfish as a fan. lol

I remember a reactor who was critical of Tippy Toes, in particular the 'here to dominate' verse. He thought that was too much braggadocio, because XG as a group hadn't accomplished anything yet. The reactor pretty much threw shade and said, not worth putting on my playlist. It wasn't until Shooting Star that he suddenly changed his tune. Still haven't subscribed and unlikely to ever do so.

This was for a fact a PR stunt and I love it. I bet they got with certain lyric accounts to release the lyric videos first before the MV
the song was actually released at 12am in each country's timezone, not at one specific time, so the song was released earlier in some countries compared to others 😅 ppl just started posting the audio online/making reactions/etc once it was made available in their country, thus leading to some ppl getting their hands on the song "early"

The visual quality in this MV is ludicrous, they just spent like an entire title track worth of budget on a prerelease bonus video. XG is DIFFERENT.
Music is hip hop R&B with a bit of middle east Arab vibes. MV theme is from some classic SF animes like 'Ghost in the Shell', 'Akira' and wolfy 'Evangelion' at the end🔥

Them pretty faces didn't fool me but them angelic voices sure did. Vocal line just lures you in like sirens then the rap line just straight up kills it. I'm so hyped for HiTC LA.

The full officially song released is at 3 mins. The MV was shorter maybe because its a pre released track only, so its kinda like a track video/teaser video... i think

I wish we had the full MV BUT!! It's brilliant they did it that way. Other than costs, I assume, cutting the MV short gets people to enjoy their music both with their eyes and ears. You watch the MV wanting more and what do we immediately do? Look for the longer version. It's brilliant! You can also tell they want their work enjoyed bc they even included sign language within the dance. ALSO ALSO! I'm not sure if yall noticed but most of the time, the members are dressed differently or made to stand out from one another because they want us to focus on the work AS A GROUP! They almost always wear the exact same things even in live performances. I noticed this in LEFT RIGHT. Very happy with this, honestly

My guess is that that the mv is like a teaser for the album. Also the song wasn’t leaked, it released in some countries before the US so we got it later than other people.
What he meant by that is the MV.. It got leaked 1 day before release..even Simon, their producer..asking fans to delete the vid, dont share n wait for the official MV

They actually released the lyrics themselves on their official channel on 6/29. When the video dropped, they deleted it. I listened to it on their channel then it was gone. Not sure if it was dropped by mistake or on purpose. I did hear that twitter leaked something and maybe they were forced to release the whole song for a day 🤷🏻♀️

I think the video was supposed to be a track video, kinda like aespa's unhappy. It's intentionally cut because it's not a tittle track.
The acronym of XG is actually for Xtraordinary Girls. They're a Japanese girl group based in South Korea, all of their members are Japanese two of them being half.
And for the record, XG prefers not to be called a K-pop act but a “global girl group.”
From the documentary the XG was originally from XGalaxy shortened to XGalx (I am referring to the company) hence them saying they’re from another Galaxy and showing space stuff in the video

As others said the song dropped on their UA-cam video but could only be accessed after 12am 6/30. You could use VPN to advance your time zone and it’d be accessible. I think New Zealand is first? So people just adjusted to that
