I can’t believe I’m 39 and have been watching this show since 2002. Larry David & Curb are the only things in my life that’s been consistent, that I’ve never gotten sick or bored of, and to comfort me. That’s been both a blessing and a curse. 😂

I feel like Larry David's age has been frozen in time since the 90s.
I started watching Curb 2 months ago. I felt in love with the craft that was created there. It took me 2 months to finish the entire series. Knowing that this one is the final season makes me feel like I'm in the late 90's expecting the end of Seinfeld. Kind of sad but hell I'm so excited!

I wish Larry would have remembered the over one hundred kidnap victims being held hostage in Gaza at the moment. Cringeworthy is Larry David's humor of course, But that one landed as unfunny because of the grim immediate circumstances.
Or at the very least, even without the context, a person should know that kidnappers can be sick and cruel people. Not to mention that the kidnappers could be antisemitic or simply hate larry for some reason.

Larry’s verbal faux pas was exactly like something outta his show! 😂
Reminded me of the time [season 11, episode 4] on Curb where Larry's eyes are dilated (post-eye exam) & he bumps into Klansman Joe, causing him to spill coffee on his white robe. Then Larry apologizes & offers to dry clean it, yet his Jewish dry cleaner initially refuses, then conveniently loses the robe. Leading Larry to calling in a favor from Susie to make a new robe. She sews a star of David on the back & the klansman gets beaten up at the rally. (There's 2 other threads in the episode that play into the ending that I didn't touch on - can't spoil the whole thing!). Excellent, uncomfortable, cringe-comedy at its finest. 😅

Years ago, I had to go on an international business trip and HR asked me to sign a "K&R" (kidnap and rescue) insurance rider. When they asked my boss to approve it, he said "Are you kidding? After 24 hours with her, they'll be paying me to take her back!"
