- U-4501 - German Tier X submarine. In October 1943, Walterwerke submitted a proposal to the Kriegsmarine for a submarine featuring a closed-cycle Walter system engine fueled by hydrogen peroxide. This engine was designed to operate effectively whether the submarine was on the surface or submerged. The various sections of the submarine hulls had to be manufactured in different shipyards, and sections for four submarines-designated U-4501 to U-4504-were produced before the war reached its conclusion.

How is it that the sub was never attacked until he was the last ship on his team?
Enemy team were playing like complete bots, it's the only way to get games like this in a sub. He was constantly making mistakes, pinging too often and getting spotted where he shouldn't have, if those BBs at the beginning of the match were any good their ASW would have taken him out in the first couple minutes.

He also dives way too late or sit at periscope when his team can spot
Meanwhile his opponents behave like paid actors, being slow and missing on the ASW
This ship is completely broken. You cant detect it and it can stay submerged forever

Well, it does not look like it moved 36 knots underwater. Good game, that's a deadly sub.

usually subs are boring AF but this game, all those paid actors pushing on my side not having to chase them around the map while kiting for ever, was the most fun i ve had in a sub and i only uploaded it as fun to watch packed with action gameplay futage. yes subs are op, uk ones been the least , and this is by far the most painfull to push to( 6 rear torps 40 sec reload) and the fastest(41+knots underwater tho you bleed speed alot if manovering). for modules i used anything that gives rudder and battery and for commander skills as follows:1point:liquidator,helsman 2 point cons enha 3 point super int,watchfull,cons spec 4 point impr bat ,enlarge prop .thanks for watching hope at least you enjoyed

a few patches back. Every few games you will see dolphins swimming beside you and seagulls flying in the air.

I played against one and he never came up that we saw. being faster under water theres no way to detect him. Its a broken ship
DD is destroyer, but whats the other D for? CV aircraft but whats the CV stand for? BB same thing, battleship, whats the other B for ?

the second D on DD and the second B in BB means nothing, it is used just to ship hulls to get classifications with two letters.
About CV, it means "Carrier, Vessel" cuz this vessel carries aircrafts. You can get all hull classifications in wikipedia if you search USN Hull Classifications if you want to know more about

It's obvious something needs to be done to help submarines in this game. Did you see how 4501 struggled against that Balao? I feel strongly that submarines should be able to use deck guns even when submerged and torpedoes should home in automatically with the same turn speed as fighter aircraft squadrons.
It is all very well going fast underwater but you leave your team behind and most nowadays prefer to hang back so therefore games in thei are quick as like any other sub once spotted you are toast
who in the world thought that 10 torpedos reloading at the same time was a good idea???

If subs were around from the start I would have been a devoted player.
So sad he lost.
Yeah he got hasty near the end. He didn't need to surface immediately to fire those 2 torps at the vallejo, all his torps need ~30s more to be reloaded while his battery can still hold for 40s more. But the Malta and Patrie had so much HP remaining it probably wouldn't have mattered.

@@PedroMcCloud and I also have my Daisen 283k dmg record uploaded by toptier. Still they're nothing compared to these subs

He capped and he defended his flank. Sure, he made some mistakes and I don't like subs, so I don't generally want to defend a sub player, but honestly, what was he supposed to do differently?
Subs aren’t even designed to cap. He went above and beyond on this.
It's a shame that you show submarines on the channel and thus encourage people to buy them... it's very bad and I think you only care about making money.

You should check your attitude. There are a few (too few!) videos on this platform which show how people hunt down subs. If you only watch successful submarine replays, you just reinforce the bubble you live in, which makes you believe they cannot be handled. The team of our hero in this replay was self-destructing, just running in panic from the sub and throwing the game. They all died so quickly, without the enemy sub having a high kill or damage score. They all died because they still think they can ignore subs. Running is usually the worst you can do. You have to pressure the subs. Try to get on top of them and spam them with your ASW toys. Or did the whole 6 ships which hid behind that island run from those 2 BB which made it past the capture point? :)
Grow up pal. If you can’t deal with them then move then go back into your corner.
