Aşkta bir türlü yüzü gülmeyen Pelin, nihayet şeytanın bacağını kırar ve hayallerindeki erkekle evlenmeye karar verir. Ancak müstakbel damat Tolga, nikah günü ortadan kaybolur ve Pelin, aşık olduğu adam tarafından düğününde terk edilir. Bütün bu olanların ardından görmüş geçirmiş bir kadın, Pelin’in mutlu olamama sebebinin, geçmişte üzdüğü birinin ahından kaynaklandığını söyler. Her şey, Pelin’in bu ahın peşine düşmesiyle başlar…
Bir anda geçmişini sorgulamaya başlayan genç kızın karşısına, üniversite yıllarında ona aşık olan Tankut çıkar. Üniversitedeyken Pelin tarafından herkesin önünde kalbi kırılan ve aşağılanan Tankut, yaşadıkları yüzünden okulu bırakmak zorunda kalmış ve tüm hayatını değiştirmiştir. Yurt dışına gidip uzun yıllar orada yaşayan ve aşçı olan Tankut, Türkiye’ye bambaşka biri olarak döner ve kendi restoranını açar. Pelin ise Tankut’u bulup ondan özür dileyeceğini ve peşindeki bu kara büyüden kurtulacağını düşünmektedir. Ancak, işler Pelin’in sandığı kadar kolay olmayacaktır çünkü Tankut hiç de onun bıraktığı Tankut değildir. Tankut için de artık intikam zamanı gelmiştir.

Though I love Sinan and Pelin because of their sweetness, the thing that I'm not satisfied in this series is the attitude of Sinan. He can afford to leave his bride at the wedding table just to satisfy the whims of the sick Ruzgar (mental) of jumping to the cliff because Rezgar saved his life before too. Hello!!!! he can ask help to the police because it will take time to travel from the wedding venue to wherever that cliff is located, for the love of God.! If you really want to kill yourself you don't need to call or text others that you are about to do it. But what she did was to create chaos for the wedding. I believe that even a person has mental disease he or she has no rights to destroy others and use the disease as defense. Sinan left Pelin in their wedding ceremony to prevent someone to die without thinking that during this act he might also be the cause of death of Pelin's father and many more because of humiliation. I really can't easily forgive Sinan for what he did. Atleast Ceyda had gone to jail for her crime while Ruzgar got married and became happy I wish in the story She apologize to Pelin but it never happened and it's not fair I really hete a two faced witch acting like an angel but manipulating people from the back. I don't know if for example Pelin as wife of Sinan is pregnant and about to give birth in the hospital for their child then Ruzgar will text and call to Sinan that she will jump to the cliff, who will Sinan choose? I hope Sinan will make Pelin his priority after they got back together in the end.
