- the Largest Cooking Festival in Ghana West Africa
I travelled to Winneba in the central region of Ghana to witness the anniversary celebration of the Kristo Asafo church of Ghana founded by Apostle Kwadwo Safo. which was merged with the celebration of the enstoolment of the king of kings, the magra day.
link to last year's celebration
this years festival was exceptional as Apostle Kwadwo Safo introduced this large cooking and tradition.
there were people from all over the country and in the diaspora.

As Africans, it’s important for us to remember times of old to preserve our traditions. May we celebrate forever. All praise to Ghana 🇬🇭.

I appreciate you guys so much. The community, the ability to come together, as a country in this way is amazing. Making acient foods Wow!, the tradition, the cooperation, the patience, and keeping the culture first with the people that hold it strong to never lose your African ways 100% I envy the togetherness. All praise 👏 to God, he created the earth 🌎
Ghana is really BLESSED 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭✊🏾✊🏾
I swear
Some of the meals look very familiar. The method of preparation like rapping in plantain leaves and tieing with the dried string from the plantain tree is very familiar. Greetings from Jamaica 🇯🇲. It's been a while
We are brothers
Ghana and Jamaica has always been relatives. Like mother and your best aunty so much love and discipline too 😂
You know what i mean
Jet Nitram, that's where your ancestors came from and they originated it. Nothing has changed.
Apostle Nana Kwadwo Sarfo should be admired in our country. He is a great man who cares about the future of our country.Let us all listen to him always.
Everyday 🥰
900 thousand years ago, that is what our ancestors eat. Wow. !
Woow this got me… ❤❤❤… it’s crazy how much of our beautiful culture we’ve put aside. 😭
I'm half black and half Native American and this festival reminds me of a Native American Powwow. It's amazing how similar African and Native American cultures are 🇬🇭🇺🇲💖
Tho I'm a Muslim the love I have for this man is immensely huge that I can't describe. Started watching him at age 5 with all these technologies and up till my 30s he's still doing more better and I pray my kids grow to see his lively works before his time.im going into agriculture because of him and his natural fertilisers.
This is beautiful 😍
This is Amazing❤

Looks like it will grow every year. Culture and love will bring a close bond to the people of Africa.
Africa is not one country and is still divided due to past and current new ways of colonalizations. Hope that Ghana will continue to have a peace and that interrests and tradition will go side by side succesfully for ever🙏🏻🇬🇭❤

The way the woman prepared the nuhuuu ( yam porridge) is making me miss my late grandmother 👵, those leaves in it are so healthy and give the palm oil and the food a very unique aroma bi paaa. I have eaten most of the foods there 😅, akaw, edibi, aprapransa, etc.
I know nothing about these foods eeehhh

Rubber rubber is giving cancer liver and kidney problems even among little ones , Iam glad the leaves is being revisited
Taty! Lovely video/pictures and all around amazing video💥💥💥! The varieties and diversity of foods is beyond fantastic. I have said in the past, that our food preparation is thoughtful, sophisticated and complicated. How our forefathers thought all this through should be celebrated and respected. Great to see the respect that is given our various foods🍴. I am hungry just typing this out🥣🙂. The millet banku was particularly interesting. Furthermore, really liked the use of leaves instead of rubber. Very environmentally conscious and I like that. The various food vendors were thrilled in displaying their wares and that draws the viewer in📷. All the branches from all over Ghana was great to see. An awesome display of collaboration and togetherness! Food fused with culture is everything! To top it all off, it was really special listening to Apostle Kwadwo Safo speak to the foods and food preparation. That is richness of culture right there! What a wonderful event and you did it great justice in your coverage. The big media houses will do well in hiring you🙂! As always, your content is wonderful and keep it coming!
