I actually have a lot more news to talk about so expect some more videos from me this week. So I guess they're defending using the cheapest possible material polyethylene terephthalate aka polyester, because it does the job and other companies that extend their budget a bit more for beryllium and DLC coatings for example are charging extra for the "gimmick". It's like a no-name tyre manufacturer marketing that the research and development of tyre compounds by the likes of Pirelli and Goodyear are just gimmicks to charge more money while the cheapest possible tyres "do the job".
Great analogy. Whilst expensive doesn't always mean good, cheap doesn't always mean a bargain either. But I guess this sort of thing plays on that side of us that loves a bargain. We like to believe that the cheap thing can compete with the expensive thing. Almost feels like we are in on a secret.
I'm definitely not a snob when it comes to audio gear that is made on a budget and punches above its weight. There's nothing wrong with KZ being proud of their products and what they're capable of, but putting down the "so called high end" competitors won't impress anyone. You said it best: show and don't tell. Also, tuning to a curve similar to others doesn't mean it will necessarily sound as good. You can't graph timbre.

Zed is correct. However, as a canadian I gave up with DayZ.
I often go either way with stuff like KZ, when recording the video I seemed to say Zed and Zee every other time I said it. But DayZ is always Zee.
