I prefer the look of the old one, but I dare say that the new one would grow on me, however, i think its a big mistake to make the body out of aluminium, although its a lot lighter you cant repair even the smallest of dents, the aluminium cannot be reworked, it cant be resprayed and then put in an oven to bake as the aluminium buckles, and it cant even be filled as the heat generated when the filler is curing and even that can be enough to buckle the panel, its great if you never have a bump or get a parking dent, but if you do, it means a new door, a new wing, or a new bonnet, waste of money, and metal if you ask me
@@marcusskyfall The repair is possible I guess Barry is going by older info . A little more complicated in process and repairing but is totally repairable . Not easy for a bodger in fairness. Which is good, it cuts out cheap shoddy back street fly by night operators. Most professional body repair shops, if not all can handle with ease . Having worked in the body repair trade for most of my adult life I know this to be accurate . If you want one be not afraid. You will not regret it .
@@BarrieCrampton yea it can be repaired .. lots of new range rovers in body shop where I took mine as driver side door got smashed into.. they sorted it and it’s looking as if nothing’s happened..
Barrie Crampton I bet when I heard you the fuel economy my heart stopped my parents hard a 56 plate Range Rover Sport and was horrendous on fuel! But that’s very very impressive!
Cracking motor. Wish it had my name on it lol
Had to watch this again. That V6 sounds great, even if it is an oil burner.
loads of low end torque!
A very well presented video,I shall be buying one in 2021
Always wanted Sir Alan Sugar to do a full commentary on the RR sport
You’re welcome!
Great review my favourite car
John Rothwell thank you for watching and taking the time to leave a comment

Beautiful car!!!
jordan park its fantastic, and i cant believe how economical it is for such a big car

Its really good, averaging 32 mpg just going to work and back through town
Barrie Crampton that’s really good! I have to say though it is a very beautiful car! Your very fortunate to drive it!
jordan park yep i have to agree 😎
Barrie why do you not like stop start?
it wears out a lot of components that cost a fortune prematurely whilst saving you very little in fuel
can the stop start function be turned off ?
Lovely! However, I still like more the older boxy L320 Sport with that 3.6 TDV8.
Keep up the good work!
Cheers!
yes I prefer the look of the older one, but the economy of the newer :-)
Had both. Agree but the extra power and fuel economy. I got the autobiography
