They REALLY (like seriously) messed up the first box and didn’t seem overly apologetic about having done so in the quick note they included. Many places would have given you a credit, included a little something extra, etc. to try and make up for your trouble. Their apology seemed just as “meh” as the items you received.

Hi Elena. I rarely post comments on segments, but I couldn't help it for this one. The most egregious thing about the transaction is that they did nothing to compensate you for their mistake. They should have refunded at least a percentage of the total, but more appropriately comped the whole thing. Charging you for their advertising (the sticker)?!? That's ridiculous. The content you did receive, though overpriced, was appropriate for the genre. However, "mammal bones"? Which mammals? If you were to do spell work with them it would be important to know which animal energies you were working with. I want to say that I think you handled the entire episode very well. You bring a lot of professionalism to your channel. Blessed be.

How disappointing for you! But you handled it gracefully :) FYI I believe the dendrite is a stone or crystal, probably sandstone in this case, in which minerals have formed in a tree-like or snow-flake pattern. It's a nice looking piece ... you could make into a pendant!)

I have a pendant made of dendritic psilomelane that looks like a mini-landscape, and a big dendritic agate that I keep on my night table... can't sleep without it. :) Thanks again for sharing!
I like how they say “goodies” as if there is more than one and you only get one. I could by a frame for $10 from TJ Maxx and put some butterflies in for way cheaper. If I was you I would be very disappointed. Not sure why would be hesitant on posting this. They want an honest opinion. They didn’t say they wanted a sugar coated one. If that’s what they want then they should tell people that.

This is why I stay away from mystery boxes unless I know the company I would of been disappointed to if I spent that much on that. I mean look compared to like the witches moon box that is 50.00 and how much stuff you get in them.😒

As someone who works with bone oracles, the idea behind this box sounds interesting to me. But the reality of the box seemed really disappointing. Plus when possible I like to know the ethics behind the bones and it doesn’t appear they mentioned that 😢
This box was a huge let down, in many ways. It totally sucks that you had to wait for the rest of the contents and when you did get them...they were not exciting. 👎🏻 I would not get that box again.
Sooo not worth that amount of money...absolutely a rip off. Sorry but this company totally sux. Neat items but the price you payed for these items is laughable and I'd be infuriated. I cant stand companies that rob people. I'd never ever buy from this company again and I'd totally make sure they are put on blast for this ridiculousness. Maybe 30 bucks tops for everything.
Hello Elena, I came across your video because I was talking about Paxton Gate with my housemate, who had a fashion boutique on the same street as Paxton Gate in San Francisco. I have been in their store a small handful of times, and came across an item that appeared as it may have come from Paxton Gate. OK. So my housemate told me that the store buyers would talk to them about how they sourced some of their items, and let’s just say it was NOT ethical. Maybe they have different buyers these days, I don’t know. But there you go. If you felt dark sad energy from a bone, that’s why. I personally won’t go back there after learning that. Now that I think about it, the energy in that store is very strange. But so is San Francisco.
… also, I was searching for any information or reviews about how they source their inventory. Clearly only positive reviews abound, which kinda gives me a sneaking suspicion that they are a carefully curated business. And if they had unethical practices, the lay person would never know about it. Certainly not a place one would find PETA supporters. one last thing that got me started on this topic: I came across a small vial in a local regional park amongst a bunch of litter at a picnic site (I was cleaning it up, because I couldn’t ignore how ugly and sad it was) Anyway, inside this little vial was what appeared to be the furry ear of a small animal! This is exactly the reason I stopped getting mystery boxes. I was disappointed twice in a row. :-( I'll stick with my Witch's Moon subscription box
