Great job on your video, thank you. I’m glad you made this video as I wondered if sublimation ink was good to use on DTV. Your video was fun to watch and informative. How many washes did you do on each shirt before you saw any declination of vinyl, please? Also, do you turn the shirt inside out during the washing/drying? Thank you again.
I watched your video and you said you wouldn’t think the Sublimation would last on the DTV with Sublimation Inc. after a wash it would wash out so I went to my sublimation printer and ran a picture using DTV Sublimation and I washed it for 50 minutes, took it out and it still still the same
The Teflon sheet makes it shine. Use butcher paper or parchment paper to get a matte finish. The sub ink is not going to stand up in the wash. Watch the sister video it tells u all of that.
Thanks Angel for sharing but quick question I thought for sublimation you put the ink side down or were you not required to mirror the project! Again thanks for sharing I am somkewhat a beginner.
Because Easycolor DTV is basically the same as EasiSubli DTV, the ink is on top of the vinyl layer and the ink is infused into the polyester layer on the vinyl and the vinyl is basically heat glued onto the fabric. If it was a polyester shirt, you would just do as you said, mirror it and then use regular sublimation paper face down, no DTV.
Thank you for your testing. Now I know to only stick with the regular inks. I guess the sublimation ink doesn't react the same to DTV than the regular inkjet inks.
dont know much about this, first time seeing it, i think the only problem with the sup printed one is it was pulled off wrong and my theory is it will last a lot longer than the normal inkjet printed one
If its shiny is due to the teflon. You have both option teflon for glossy look and parchment for matte look.
You. right Grace.
@@Liviarzita love to help, hey we all can together!
TFS! I always learn so much from your videos!
Thank you for watching ❤️
Thanks for sharing
I thought you had to use a mask on top 🤷🏽♀️. I know you can do either but the temperature changes. I’m going with the first one
Like the darker one. So let me make sure i am hearing correctly. You printed out the darker one using a dtv with inkjet ink?
Yes!
Did you end up doing a wash test?
I did and after wash my logo is little bit of some kind of blurry

Whats the result after wash with sublimation inks ?

Yes, Teflon, parchment and butcher paper does make a different
Teflon is supposed to make it shiny and I think it’s butcher paper that gives it the matte look.
Yes wash test please
What happens when you wash the sublimation shirt?
Exactly. Whats the result ?
Wash test please 😊
Hi Angel and thanks for testing! I like them both and they can stand on their own.
Tracey
Because the Teflon makes it different.
Ooooo I love the different colors on both shirts!!!
Thanks for testing this out for us!
I think you have 2 different shirts maybe.
Luv how they came out
👋🏼 Hey!!!!Thanks for testing. Can u wash test please?🥰
It's like the higher heat melted out the texture.. love this test!
Thank you ☺️
Maybe it shall have been 100% polyester for the sublimation
Love them both. I just bought some DTV can't wait to try it.
What was the wash test? Did it fail or pass?
I think they tell you to use anything with a shiny texture and look causes it to work that was.

Thanks for the video 💕
What I would like to see how would we do larger images with it I’m trying it
To my knowledge, it only comes in the 8.5x11 size for right now
Hi
💕
Sounds like plastic
Yea it does
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching ❤️
Nice
Thank you ☺️
It could be the temp that causes the sublimation ink to turn out like leather or plastic
