A person behavior reflects how he was raised by his/her family. In south all star actors kids are bought up to be a star unlike Bollywood scrap, who does not know how to behave in public meetings. What a shame.

I don’t know telugu , I don’t know any south language but still I say this ...Bollywood stars mostly get famous and stay in news because of their controversies , affairs , and what not . A star like Mahesh Babu who stays away from controversies and publicity coz he knows he doesn’t need any useless publicity to stay in news . When his movies come , people talk about it hugely . That’s the confidence . He’s not at all overboard on social media putting up cozy pics with wife or heroines . I’m tired of watching Ranveer singh with deepika, virat Kohli with Anushka and all the wannabe Bollywood couples who show PDA on social media ....but when mahesh or Namrata put up a lovely pic together once in a while , I’m genuinely excited and I gush over their pics ....this is why I love Mahesh Babu and his personality ....and yes I feel he’s damn lucky to have Namrata as his wife ...God bless them and family

I disagree. A true artist's range should reach far beyond race, language and ethnic boundaries. He/she should keep challenging their craft instead of staying at their comfort zone. Legendary actress Sridevi proved that for 50 years by ruling all Tamil, Telugu and Hindi industry as Numero Uno. Even Kamal Hasan and Rajini Sir tried their luck with success in Bollywood. So did Dhanush.
T. G. I think he’s afraid of inevitably falling into the routine of doing remakes if he goes into other industries. He has the luxury of choosing “original” (not completely original obviously bc it’s tollywood lol but I mean not carbon copy remakes like bollywood is doing more of nowadays) scripts in tollywood since he’s an A list star. Plus, he has a certain level of power over his own films in Telugu since he’s already an established star in telugu cinema. He’s obviously become comfortable with that by now and he likes it. He can make certain suggestions to the director that the director would probably listen to right away, since he’s a big star, and he has more of a say in who his co-star will be (a big say from what I’ve heard). He wouldn’t have that much privilege right away in Hindi or Tamil or Malayalam cinema or whatever because he would have to work his way up all over again.

I have started watching South Indian movies after SSR death controversy and found that South Movies are much better than bollywood, and Mahesh Babu's Pokiri I have watched more than 10 times and it's remake Wanted is nowhere as compared to it. Mahesh Babu is much better than Salman Khan

Honestly I should have written this earlier. Ever since the Sushant death controversy, I have started reducing my Bollywood consumption drastically. And I am on a slight thread to officially stop watching Bollywood stuff. Ok at the most, the Hindi stuff I would watch would be web series and old Hindi films. But that is rare for me as well.
I listen to Indian music, but not as much as I did before because of the SSR death controversy. Like once in a blue moon.
But when it comes to Indian films, I watch more Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil films. Though I do not see them often. I listen to South Indian music more often now. And when I do listen to Hindi Music, it will be songs sung by talented singers like KK, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal. Which again, is very rare now because Indian Music Directors are chasing Neha Kakkar.
So now I mostly watch English stuff and listen to lots of English music. I'm glad I'm ostracising Bollywood as much as possible. I only like watch what 10% of all Bollywood films released and listen to 30% of Hindi music at most? But I've not been seeing the new releases and I'm glad that I'm not seeing them lolol. I'd rather watch The Voice USA than a 2 hour Bollywood film!
