Amazing video!! It was an amazing weekend and had a blast seeing the square pegs family ❤️ thank you for always being super nice and making a great impression on my little one. He’s already ready for next year
Awesome video jay!! Big thanks for the shout out 🙏 meeting people is for sure the best part of all this am im still blown away we got to do a panel! I would do it again any time!!
That gameboy from Retro Rob was amazing!!! Retro Rob is an amazing dude we loved meeting him as well. You absolutely killed it with this video Jay !!! Thank you for the amazing shoutout!!! Great content as always!!!
Fantastic vid! Really was amazing to see the community come together, keep growing! So happy to have met all these great chs in person finally, and of course finally meeting you my friend! Keep being amazing!!!
Highlight of the trip, my friend, was getting to meet you and Jean for the first time. You guys are truly some of the kindest people I have had the fortune of meeting because of this channel, and I'm so thankful for both of you. I hope your trip home is a safe one and that the side sojourn to Florida was enjoyable! Looking forward to seeing you again in June for CORGS!
Glad to hear you had a fantastic time at the convention brother! You are 100% correct that meeting the other UA-camrs and fellow patrons is the best part! Great video, as always, my friend!
TORG on Saturday was amazing! Not only did I scored some amazing deals, but briefly meeting you as you were chatting with Gary from CORGs, and talking with The Immoral John Hancock about teaching and collecting was truly wonderful.
Oh, dude - you've GOT to get to one! They're so much fun!! Even outside of the shopping - of which there is PLENTY - just getting to be around fellow game lovers all day and amongst UA-cam peers is so energizing. I'd love to see you at one so I could fanboy out and say hello! :D And thanks on the jersey! It was a present to myself for a good revenue month. ;)
Man, TORG looks amazing. I really hope I get a chance to head out to it one day. I just attended Free Play Friday here in Lakeland FL and while definitely smaller and a different type of show than TORG it was still pretty fun. I am hoping to attend Really Rad Weekend next year and would love if you were able to be at that one as well.
FPF looked really fun this year. Riggs sent over a bit of footage from the show floor and it looked really awesome! I loved the interspersed arcades and pinball tables. RRW is on my wishlist. I'll reach out!
Great video!!! Also, thank you for the birthday wishes on Dr. Scott’s Facebook post. It’s not everyday you get celebrities wishing you happy birthday!! 🥰🥰 We went to Barley’s for dinner on Saturday. They have an arcade upstairs with really awesome pizza. 😊
...is there a celebrity here?!? I thought we tented the house and sprayed for those months ago. The happy birthday wishes were legitimately the least I could do. :) Barley's sounds awesome! I'll have to check it out when I'm in town for CORGS!
Wonderful video as always, Jay - congrats on a successful first run as a vendor! That Justice League Task Force print is a definite homage to the Strret Fighter 30th Anniversary box art!
Great video Jay and is alway great seeing you! I appreciate the kind words and glad that the Master System controller is working out well for you. We'll have to be sure to go out for pizza when you are back in the area (probably CORGS). 😆
You have good friends who took you to delicious foot spots around Columbus! I can't believe I missed that CiB JVC X-Eye! 😮 Glad you had a good time in Cbus!
Absolutely, it's the people that make UA-cam, or dare I say "the interaction between you and me" 😉 QVC is a nice fit, whatever the venue 😂 Those promotional displays are a wonderful souvenir for you 👍 ond day I might see my face up on foamboard 😂 Ooh, Chuck Brown Jedi!!!😮 I wish Ohio was much closer to my map 😢 but at least U get to live vicariously through you my friend 😁
You absolutely will see your face on a banner one day, my friend. :) I believe in you and your channel! And it seems we need to do something about this whole 'living vicariously' thing. I'll see if my wife wants to do a trip to Scotland and the UK in 2025. ;)
You worked on Mirrors edge? Some cool posters prints. If you still need an OG SMS controller let me know. Shattered Dimensions is okay. There are some parts that are just a dive... Wave Race GB is fun for a bit. The bump physics are rough.
I did! I was QA support for DiCE and basically got paid to playtest the game (along with 15 of my test team) for a couple months as they were getting ready to go gold. A supremely enjoyable experience. :) I do still need an OG SMS controller. I've yet to see one in person!
TORG! Jay is 100%.This was convention number 6 for me this year and it was amazing. Not just because am from and live in Ohio, but because it is a show you just need to attend. Meeting and seeing members of the community, whether it's a UA-cam personality, vendor or the usual attendees, is AWESOME. It's so much more than gaming even though that's what brought everyone together. Another really great gaming show that is in Ohio is the Classic Console and Arcade Gaming Show in the Cleveland area. It's a smaller one day show but I always find great stuff there for my collection. Also, that first Wii game you showed is a "guilty" pleasure of mine and super fun to play at a "party". And finally, I noticed that Kyle guy made it into another Square Pegs video...he's something else I guess. 😂As always, it was a pleasure to see and talk to you again as well as meeting your wife. You both are such lovely people. And yes, even Game Dad too...😉 Take care!!! 🟩
An absolute pleasure to see you again, Kyle! Thank you for what was truly one of my favorite convention memories this year. I'll have to check CCAG out again. I went a few years back and didn't have a great experience, but it could have been any number of things that contributed to that.
@@SquarePegs Glad I could hep make that memory! it sure was fun! Also, I'm not sure when you've attended CCAG, but the last couple of years have been way better than it used to be. The organizers don't do much more than basically a "video game swap meet" and I wouldn't call it a convention. But it has expanded to 2 indoor soccer fields when it used to only be one. Again, much better now.

It was great getting to meet you in person finally! Glad you had a good time, too. It was a blast!
You as well, Johnny! Keep up the incredible content - looking forward to seeing you down the road at future shows!

Only thing that could have made the show better was getting to see you, my friend! :) SEGE this year is gonna be amazing!!
TORG on Saturday was amazing! Not only did I scored some amazing deals, but briefly meeting you as you were chatting with Gary from CORGs, and talking with The Immoral John Hancock about teaching and collecting was truly wonderful.
Love this video! I never knew Ohio was so fun! I know one of these years I need to venture out of Iowa and hopefully hit Midwest Gaming Con!
Man these conventions always look so fun! Would love to go to some next year. Also love the custom jersey 💙

Agreed! We love Ohio and Torg Gaming Expo! Score one for the hometown!

Torg was me and my family first con we live 2hrs from Columbus and was awesome we will be going back every year, it was nice to meet you at the show
Agreed! I was there as an artist and out of all the cons I have done this year TORG was definitely one of the best.

@@SquarePegs Awesome. I will hit you up before the show. My name is Erik Wahlberg. Best.
