this win is one of many more that they’ll receive in the future, the girls work so hard for us and we will most definitely keep this up. i’m really overwhelmed with emotion at how we really managed to get them their win at the end of their promotions. seeing orbits so deflated in the middle of their promos to the point where some gave up until this opportunity showed up is just unreal to me. i’m so glad things ended the way they did, the girls need to know that we appreciate them and all they do for us. LOONA deserves the world and more.
It's kind of mind blowing how little Hyunjin cried. She trained the longest and was second to debut but maintained her smile for a long time she really does have a 4d personality
Them bowing to the ground is probably honoring not only their promise with Haseul but also the people that gave them that award. They lower themselves to the floor and bow down with humility, vulnerability, and gratefulness. This is the utmost respect gesture someone could have done there and not many idols did it, its even very very very rare. I love how humble and very feet on the ground these girls are. They do not self-grandizing themselves and actually respect everyone who helped them achieved this award. I will never let go of this feelings because I am going to support them until the end.
all the girls deserve this so much and it’s honestly long overdue all the members faced troubles like heejin getting the worst selling album of 2016, choerry’s debut being boycotted, the kakao m problems etc but it’s all worth it
i have only recently got into kpop. i found Loona as a girlgroup who was different than the rest , i felt a connection with them instantly. The more i watch them and look at them , the more i fall in love with them . Through Loona TV , music shows , their own web drama and more , Loona is like family to me . I will give them my all and more . This is the first time i have ever cried for a kpop group and such. Loona changed my life . Seeing Heejin and Yerim cry like that really hit different towards me. I wanna thank my fellow Orbits and other fandoms as well. Loona can work their 200% but if we had not played our part , they wouldn't be where they are today.This is just the beginning . Im gonna be honest here- They deserve to represent kpop and become the biggest (female) kpop group. Just imagine that one person is new to kpop and got into kpop because he/she noticed loona's American debut on trending and loved it. Thats loona's power, they can sing, dance, rap, make us smile but the most important never missing a beat in every performance that i saw they always show how much they care about their fans.
even if it doesn't look like it, Star is doing so much for the girls, it's being played a lot in the US and in other countries like Spain, Canada, UK... they are also trendsetters in Tik Tok, and I see them growing nationally too. I feel like a BIG boom is coming... when I say this, I mean that they will soon have a comeback that will explode in popularity, and get them the many wins, promotions, and views they deserve. But orbits! We have to work really hard. I know we usually do but I think we could improve their view count and share the groups to our friends!
I thought she made the biggest gamble out of all, I mean I'm not saying that the other girls' gamble is to be disregarded, but Imagine leaving your home country, you family, your friends, flew to a different country, without knowing much of it's culture and norms, being unable to speak, write and understand their language, with the uncertainty of debuting, in a new and unknown company. This era has been so emotional for both LOONA and Orbit. It's the comeback after a whole year hiatus but Haseul can't not attend. Their creative director left but then the most unexpected person decied to work with them because he saw the potential. They tried a new concept and I know they've worried a lot about fan's reaction. Orbits then as one of the most dedicated fanbase managed to give them so many achivemens but a win. Then came the weekly idol episode and the promotion coming to an end. Finally, the most awaited dream somehow comes true thank to everyone's hardwork. Such a journey!
Heejin had the pressure of being the first girl to debut in a 12 member group who was making headlines as being the most expensive group debut in kpop history and had the worst selling kpop album of 2016. Hyunjin had the longest training period, had days where she thought she would never debut, relied and still relies on Heejin because they trained together and were in the same class and experienced all of this together. Haseul, who has the enormous pressure of being the leader of this group, who was insulted by the ceo of a major label on national tv, and wasn’t able to participate in this comeback because she finally decided that her own health was important. Yeojin, who debuted at 14, who wasn’t allowed to debut with 1/3, who is the maknae of this group of extremely talented women which makes her doubt her own abilities. ViVi, who moved to Korea without even knowing the language because she had a dream and she knew she had the talent to follow it and make it come true. Kim Lip, whose debut was rushed, and who dreamed of becoming an idol so much that she felt like she had to change her body. Jinsoul, who pushed herself to rap even though she thought she wasn’t good enough, who had a scalp that hurt for over a year because she thought if she wasn’t blonde no one would recognize her. Choerry is seen as the bright happy member who cheers everyone up but feels like she isn’t allowed to have her own moments where she needs to blow steam. Yves, who debuted with a song in a genre never before explored in kpop, who unwaveringly shows her support for lgbtq+ fans despite the fact that those views aren’t yet widely accepted in Korea. Chuu, who joined bbc at the suggestion of a friend she went to school with and is now part of a group of sisters. Go Won, who was a fangirl who only had dreams of one day being an idol and is now the embodiment of that dream. Olivia Hye, the young girl who trained for a day and then immediately started preparing for her debut as the last member, who not only embraced the pressure of the last member but exceeded expectations. i keep coming back to watch this and cry every time when vivi and choerry hug off to the side. i think vivi, yeojin and choerry might have a hard time feeling fully connected to the rest of the members sometimes... you can tell choerry wants to be positive for vivi so badly and vivi felt really bad seeing someone so much younger than her sobbing. it was just really heartwarming and felt so genuine

I don't want to assume too much, but sometimes I wonder what the internal group dynamics are when certain members are consistently given little screen/center time. I know that if you throw any 12 people in a room together for long enough, some of them are bound to not get along well. That being said, it still makes me sad to think about. I hope there are members sympathetic to Gowon after seeing how little she got in Why Not.

Them bowing to the ground is probably honoring not only their promise with Haseul but also the people that gave them that award. They lower themselves to the floor and bow down with humility, vulnerability, and gratefulness. This is the utmost respect gesture someone could have done there and not many idols did it, its even very very very rare. I love how humble and very feet on the ground these girls are. They do not self-grandizing themselves and actually respect everyone who helped them achieved this award. I will never let go of this feelings because I am going to support them until the end.

Im gonna be honest here-
They deserve to represent kpop and become the biggest (female) kpop group. Just imagine that one person is new to kpop and got into kpop because he/she noticed loona's American debut on trending and loved it. Thats loona's power, they can sing, dance, rap, make us smile but the most important never missing a beat in every performance that i saw they always show how much they care about their fans.
even if it doesn't look like it, Star is doing so much for the girls, it's being played a lot in the US and in other countries like Spain, Canada, UK... they are also trendsetters in Tik Tok, and I see them growing nationally too. I feel like a BIG boom is coming... when I say this, I mean that they will soon have a comeback that will explode in popularity, and get them the many wins, promotions, and views they deserve. But orbits! We have to work really hard. I know we usually do but I think we could improve their view count and share the groups to our friends!

This era has been so emotional for both LOONA and Orbit. It's the comeback after a whole year hiatus but Haseul can't not attend. Their creative director left but then the most unexpected person decied to work with them because he saw the potential. They tried a new concept and I know they've worried a lot about fan's reaction. Orbits then as one of the most dedicated fanbase managed to give them so many achivemens but a win. Then came the weekly idol episode and the promotion coming to an end. Finally, the most awaited dream somehow comes true thank to everyone's hardwork. Such a journey!

Jinsoul, who pushed herself to rap even though she thought she wasn’t good enough, who had a scalp that hurt for over a year because she thought if she wasn’t blonde no one would recognize her.
Choerry is seen as the bright happy member who cheers everyone up but feels like she isn’t allowed to have her own moments where she needs to blow steam.

i keep coming back to watch this and cry every time when vivi and choerry hug off to the side. i think vivi, yeojin and choerry might have a hard time feeling fully connected to the rest of the members sometimes... you can tell choerry wants to be positive for vivi so badly and vivi felt really bad seeing someone so much younger than her sobbing. it was just really heartwarming and felt so genuine
I feel this too, I really believe that off camera they're all extremely close though! It does break my heart seeing those three being left out alot of the time on Loona TV and even here 😭

I don't want to assume too much, but sometimes I wonder what the internal group dynamics are when certain members are consistently given little screen/center time. I know that if you throw any 12 people in a room together for long enough, some of them are bound to not get along well. That being said, it still makes me sad to think about. I hope there are members sympathetic to Gowon after seeing how little she got in Why Not.
