Babas : please dont teach malaysian how to make their own babas curry powder. Heres some curry powder. 😂
Make sense 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hahaha
Kelako kelako.. Haha den br nak buek senirik.. Hehe
bahahahhaaha sugoi sugoi 🤣
Lawakk broo
The person in Baba's who suggested this should get a raise.
Yazid Yahya.I agrees with you suggestion
baba's ceo
😂
100% agreeeeeeee!
Yes and Babas need to pay this two as well.
It's actually Ezwanee of the HK High Consulate whom initiated this (as mentioned in the video). She is the one who should get a raise.
Well Done Babas. Best Advertising Campaign ever..These two have done good PR for Malaysia. They deserve it
yesss Babas. get those bucks now!!!
deserve 1 year of free supply
They deserve a proper sponsorship for this. $$$
I had visions of Musa King or Black Thorn durians being presented but Baba is still Malaysian anyway and can be easily transported!
Actually its a PR failure in Babas part...
Babas missed the boat in trying to sponsor Sugu Pavitra, thats why they learned their lesson and quickly try to seize the opportunity to sponsor i-chang.. i remember when Sugu Pavitra was very small, like ONLY 20k subs i actually gave Babas a FB private message to alert them about Sugu Pavitra, but they all had so many excuse such as MCO bla bla bla.. truth is, they were snobbish and didnt bother about Sugu and Pavi... Then Sugu and Pavi became big.. even too big for babas, and soon babas missed the boat so im sure they learned a lesson in humility and quick action instead of just giving excuses.... Feels good to be vindicated, a nice slap on Babas face.. padan muka babas, siapa suruh sombong dan lembab dulu hahahaha
a Japanese couple residing in Hong Kong loving Malaysian food.. can this world be full of love n peace like this 😭😭♥️♥️👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Now you have LOT's of Baba's spices can the whole of Malaysia go to your place and MAKAN....hehehe
Boleh kalau babas sponsor satu store produk babas baru ichang boleh buat 😂
So cute comments.
I was wondering that too. Why din't they start selling it?
The kelapa parut u can blend it will be so thick
There goes the cheapskate Malaysian freeloader attitude
I never knew how much effort and ingredients are used to make Malaysian food until i watched this channel. Make me appreciate the food we have here in Malaysia so much more. Will never complain if my nasi kandar is pricey ever again!
If Malaysia have Sugu & Pavithra, then Hong Kong got Ichang & Jimmy 😊
iChang and Jimmy
Well said..I'm really proud for both ichang & sugupavitra
Mane ade org malaysia sebelum belah kelapa bersihkan sampai licin kelapa tu....😁😁😁
@M Basrie poyo
1 ja silap, nyior parot dia pegi perah utk buat kerisik, hilang lemak haa
@@mohdkausar9126 Tak lah. Kan dia dah cakap fresh. Tak perah lagi.
I bet Their dish is a lot tastier because almost everything is made from scratch. Even the chilli powder. Like the old days :) tengok pun dah letih, especially part kerisik Dan chilli
this is what im talking about, ppls like ai-chan and jimmy-san kinda like help promoting malaysia... for me they are also Malaysian ambassadors
, and deserved to be acknowledged
. as thanks to both of you, i will never skip ads again... this is the least i can do... tee-hee
they are farrr waaayyy moreee better then some so-called self-proclaimed "influencer" 😝
@@aimidori785 totally agreed
Jadikan mereka our overseas ambassadors. 😄
We have Mat Dan. An Englishman who speaks Terengganu dialect fluently.
Malaysians: Yeah. They do not need to make any more curry powder
Ichang & Jimmy: We need to make our kerisik from old coconut
Malaysians: They are more Malaysians than us 😭
Betul tu, gila lah diorng ni, susah kut nak buat semua tu. Bapakkkkk
Besides durian, this is first time seeing ichang eats more and faster than jimmy.haha
same. im like "ichang??" eat more eat more!
Those two taught me that nothing is impossible, all you need to do is trying and be consistent
This one of the very few channels I will not skip ads. Their effort is truly appreciated. Congrats on your recognition
You guys are amazing. So much respect for you cooking everything from scratch. 👏🏽👌🏼👍🏼👐🏼🙌🏼 🙏🏼
No words to express.. Just love you both for bringing Malaysian food to next level.. Proud to be Malaysian ❤️
I feel touched too when Jimmy read the letter. Thank you Baba's. The words are really heartwarming. As warm as all the spices and as warm as the loves that Baba's sent from Malaysia 😘
Small things in life that we often overlooked and took granted.
If
Korea have Blimey

Please list any UA-cam Chanel tht show their love to our country...

We as malaysian also cannot brain how the feeling when eating malaysian food..

I'm Malaysian people must try this delicious recipe. Nyum...nyum..nyum...
When you make malaysia food famous ...you will also get malaysia pride ..hehe for most malaysians food is our pride and we are proud of you I chang😂..tq so much for keep promoting malaysian food ..🤗
I was laughing so much when ichang needed more rice and suddenly young Amitabh appeared out of nowhere..😆🤣😂
Kita dok Malaysia ni tak beli lagi kuali tembaga. Dia at Hong Kong dah pakai. Gigih wat kerisik sendiri dengan manual mesin kukur kelapa. Amazing. Resepi ni pun tak pernah wat, dia at Hong Kong dah wat . Ko ghasaaaaaaaa
sedikit sentap
Sy sbg ibu, perempuan...malu sndiri.😂
ko je kot...sad
Ichang looks so happy. Hahahahaha.
Before this ichang easily get full even when she eats little amount of food. Now, she needs extra rice. Hahaha.
Oooff that’s some rich, high quality kerisik you just made!
AGREED
Indeed

Hebat anak jepun semangat mereka bukan calang2. Patut la negara jepun maju, mereka sgt efisien, rajin dan bersemangat tinggi. Sy sebagai rakyat malaysia sangat kagum dgn mereka berdua. Tolong rakyat malaysia support channel mereka!! Jangan skip ads !! They deserve it!!
IChang, Jimmy, this channel, the fans, the comments, everything is so wholesome! Malaysia pow-wah!
You two are amazing! Considering how often you cook rice, a small rice cooker would be a good investment. Basmathi rice is really fluffy and long in the rice cooker.
IChang is so kind, always let Jimmy eat more chicken..... Babas now can sell in Japan after you promote it and so tasty.
You are assuming there are many japanese viewing their vids which I dont think so. Malaysians have this craze for non malaysian doing vids on malaysian foods. So high chance d viewers are majority malaysians. Just saying.
Or are you from hongkong?
@@hajarahmad473, so true. Malaysians also keen followers of foreign vloggers travelling around Malaysia.
My indian frens prefer home made curry powder mixture not Baba's
So happy for you guys. One day the current King and Queen of Malaysia will definitely want to meet you both.
Hopefully Tuanku Permaisuri watch their videos.
Yes,we hope so.
One day, they are going to malaysia's castle.
They is a very good cook too. She have a very special recipe . Must make ichang and jimmy meet the queen. They can cook together for the king
@@Daisy_Annie-Shubongi Palace you mean?
18:00 Jimmy's face after eating good stuff can win Mark Wiens already.
Baba's the word! Wow! Baba's noticed your video. Two Japanese who love Malaysian food.
i dont know how to describe, how talented both of you, such an amazing one who never felt tired of doing something new😙💪💪💚
Hi iChang RM ! Thank you very much for sharing our Malaysian recipies. I'm so deeply humble because of your love and passion for Malaysia cuisine. It would be super nice for you to come back & visit Malaysia again when the time is right and try other delicious authentic Malaysia dishes. Thank you again. Stay safe and take care guys🤩
Do remember to store the spices and powder in the fridge once the packs are opened as it does grow bugs or becomes spoiled easily if not refrigerated once opened. Enjoy your meals with Baba's cooking powders. 👍😄😄 ( fans from Malaysia)
Jimmy slang like MALAYSIAN ORI..
KERISIK ✔
SEDAP NYA ✔
when ichang say it.. That tune not right but cute to hear..
Love this couple... 😍
The coconut fruit is so versatile , almost every part of the whole tree can be used for human benefit.
The water to drink, the flesh to eat when young, the flesh when mature, can be made into coconut milk or coconut oil, the shell is made into spoons and scoops, the husk is made into strings or cloth, the flowers of coconut tree is made into gula melaka from the sap, or tapai drink fermentation, the leaves are made into all kinds of wrappings, ketupat or kuihs or otak otak, the leaves stems are made into lidi sweepers, the husks is burnt as fuel, the tree trunk can be made into house, or handicrafts.
And the humble coconut is made into delicious curry kerisik.
Congrats Ichang and Johnny. Malaysians like to watch your channel.
Maybe you can do a video on how useful the whole coconut tree is .
Hey. Do you know the coconut song?
ichang, u can also use the coconut water instead of warm water to get the coconut milk. it is tastier
Kelaka pulak bila gambar Amita Bachan tetiba muncul bila diorg tgh makan 😂
Haha extra rice tetiba muncul si dia 😂
Comel je dua anak jepun main masak²,....mkn pun suap pakai tangan alas daun pisang,,lama² lupa pakai chopsticks ,sikit hari lagi resign jadi warganegara jepun
Come to Pantai Timur the next time you're visiting Malaysia!! try the different local delicacies from Pantai Timur.. !!!
yess
Thanks also tu Sugu Pathvrita who promote Babas in her vd
Yes!!!
I bet they gonna make nasi kerabu after visiting east cost. 😂
I wonder if they've ever had nasi kerabu, nasi ulam budu, nasi dagang, nasi berlauk or anything from the East Coast?
良かったですね。いつも動画お楽しみにさせていただきちゃいます。😄
1st time ever iChang finish her plate before Jimmy
First time tengok pengisar kelapa diorang...super canggih..mesti lenguh gila..
I still remembered when I studied overseas. My mum packed so much curry powder and I felt that I could bake using those curry powder.
U guys really put in lots of effort this time...
Young malaysians of current generations mostly wld nvr even want to grate coconuts, let alone make kerisik from scratch...
The "stopper" that you think is actually the coconut bud shoot which later can grow as coconut tree🌴
Mesti seronok 💛
Setuju sekali
I proud n crying wathc this. We malaysian so unite. Always support the good things. Thank ichang n jimmy for making good video n our malaysian food. 💕💕💕💕💕
Congratulation ichang, jimmy, please make a delicious food for us!

Hansap Jimmy's face
Ahhhh NASI TAMBAH love it ❤.. Must be so SEDAP becoz we can see i chang MAKAN LICIN the food .
one tips, ichang u can blend the coconut with water then strain it cos u can extract more liquid from it 😊
Suka tengok ichang makan..dia makan sampai tak tinggal pon sebutir nasi atas daun pisang tu..menghargai makanan..tbaik ichang
Must have been extra delicious as they had actually made kerisik and santan from scratch. Wow.
Yeah that's right..
I wonder how long they took just to prepare one dish and nasi beriani..and they enjoy that moment..
@@rinaismail6723 i bet this wasnt as lengthy as they cooked rendang in previous video.
So happy for you guys... Wish you coming to Malaysia again any time sooner... WE LIKE TO WATCH YR VIDEOS... Cute n charming... Always give you thumb up 👍👍👍
2 coconut suppose to have more coconut milk, usually we blend with some water and use fine sift and press till satisfied
Yeah more water, makes the straining santan easier. You should have watched their first onde-onde... Because it's their first time, they are very careful. Most cases they make essences. They made pandan essence last time 😆
or you can use blender to mix it with water and it will help you extract the milk better
Yessss
Good...
I will be support you two always..

TERBAIK...👍
this is truely humbling and pure. Much love!

Normally in Malaysia especially in kampung (village) we using the Malay traditional coconut grater that we calling ‘kukur kelapa’ .. you guys can google it how it looks like.. 😊
No need la
I gotta say that kerisik is so on point you guys! 😱 The color and the consistency just 💯 For your first time, that's a job well done! 👏🏻 My mum usually put kerisik into her rendang recipe so it amplifies the flavour and fragrance of the rendang 😄
Great. Happy 😊 for you. Make malaysia proud.
This is my first time looking that cute coconut shredder. Looks less harmful than the machine one at my grandma's house 😂 make it worse together with its monster-ious sound 😂😂
Thats because the machine is a uto so the motor sound is really loud
kukur kelapa is also unique but you have to sit on the floor to do it... love that hand machine though
Somehow its true. Hahaha the sound made it more classic hahahahha
Mesin kupas kelapa..😂😂 tanganku pernah berdarah gara2 nak buat santan masa kecik.memandai2..sekali terkoyak jari hahahah
@@khalisahzulkri4148 mesin parut kelapa mmg mengerikan.. tak pernah guna, takut

love both of you, you have showed the people that even if we're from a diffrent country, we can stay together and live with the diversity of people from all around the world 😗
Congratulation both of you... never give up on trying others variety of food and culture.
Most of the time the spices expiry date will reach first before i could finish cooking all. So i will make sure keeping the spices (openned or otherwise) inside the fridge to lengthen the shelve-life
Very good guys! Well done Ichang and Jimmy

this video just sums up japanese dedication when doing work. yguys made fresh kerisik while we malaysian here just buy it from the store. i bet that kerisik ayam must be delicious with all that fresh ingredients
My father used to have that same Baba’s apron! My parents have been selling chapatis in Jitra for over 40 years. Since they buy a lot of spices from the same store all these years, sometimes the store owner reserve some retailer merch for my father 😬
