Selling Xmog is such a annoying way to make "real" gold. Sure, it's worth some gold, but if you need to post it for halve a year to sell it, it's not for me. Especially since i play only every few month. I did it back in WoD and Legion. Your average droprate for really expensive gear is 0,01 - 1%. Best case scenario is, you get the item you want in 100 runs of X. It takes like 5 - 15 minutues to run old raids with not speed gear/setup. Thats 500 - 1000 minutes (8h ~15m - 16h ~30m). Then you we can look at TSM sale average. Which would be (for example some island expedition gear) around 0.016. Means, (on average) every 62,5 days, one get sold. TSM, if i remember correctly, shows how often you sold/how much you made with an item. Your Xmogs showed nothing that sold....
The best goldfarm is to invest into a craft that is lucrative (cooking, enchanting, alchemy) and have around 2-3mil as starting capital. So you can make 100-200k gold every day from selling. But i wouldnt want to do that at the end of the expansion ^^
So if you are not playing on an EU server then you are certainly playing on an American server, or somewhere else, but not EU. Because here in the EU you hardly get any gold for it, here these shoulders are only sold for around 80000 or 90000 gold. :(
Always the same stuff... get this Xmog that is "super valuable" but NEVER sells. Waste of time imo. Much rather spend that time on a farming profession if you wanna do brain dead content.
@@UpperMoon95 I thought I made it clear in my comment. Letting your subscription lapse is equivalent to 11k daily gold since that’s what the wowtoken is currently worth and what a month of game time costs.

No gold starting expansion you lack ability to invest in markets when they're lucrative, you can't flip, you have to farm, tldr you can't play the AH at all
@joeym3147 that's pretty straight forward forsure, I just figured there might be some changes coming with 11.0 that could be planned for in a way that would make a bunch of old. I'm more of a high end raider but have downtime atm so I figured why not save a token or 3 if possible lol

There’s a portal in Dalaran above the broken isles. It’s near the flight master if I’m correct.

My current gold farm is worth a guaranteed 11K gold daily ( 330K monthly) and takes zero time! All you have to do is let your sub lapse till TWW. 🤣
