This is so impressive. I was expecting something on the same level as the "[song name] but im screaming the lyrics" videos not THIS. Your imitation of Damon's early vocals are so accurate, especially on Man Research which sounds almost exactly like the original. So so good.

No joke, whenever I go to listen to Demon Days its actually a toss up between the OG and your version. I'm dead serious.
After I stopped laughing I started realising just how good of a substitute it is...and it's a nice changeup from the original that I've listened to for years.
Self Titled is yet another awesome work I'm probably gonna start listening to tbh😂
But Plastic Beach is an album I've listened to more than anything, so to hear you do it with your voice would make my life complete.
Its got some fun songs in it to, like White Flag and Glitter Freeze. Man I hope you give it a go🙏

Slow country did not sound like acapella at all, it just sounded like an extremely accurate cover.

Incredible job dude, I've been excited for this album for a while now, and I am NOT disappointed.
This reminds me of the game Crash Twinsanity. I discovered Gorillaz as a kid and back then I loved that game and it's soundtrack made of voices and mouth sounds... This is giving me a warm and comforting nostalgia!

Some of the sounds in here are SO accurate to the original that I'm honestly disappointed that they don't sound like a voice anymore. The piano/synth notes in the intro to M1A1 in particular
this was a criticism not a compliment btw. i wish you would process your voice a bit less so it still sounds like an acapella cover. if i wanted to listen to the original, i'd listen to the original. a lot of YTPMVs make this same mistake where they process the samples too much and it becomes too similar to the original song and they lose what makes them novel and unique and i just want to listen to the original instead
I feel the same. The Demon Days cover is infinitely better, as there was a real emphasis on mimicking the processed sounds with his real voice. Here, it’s so processed that it sounds more like a soundfont remix, which is strangely less impressive than just the voice. I feel like there’s also some charm that’s lost, as well as some much needed humor.
An excellent example is the remix of O Green World, there’s probably some processes, such as cutting the voice clips close together, but the attempt to get all of the sounds with the voice made it for me.
That being said, this is still incredibly impressive and I love it. Definitely appreciate the lack of processing in the Demon Days version in comparison here.

Wonderful as always. Absolutely in love with the bass tone on 19/2000, and man, you absolutely nailed the general inflection of Damon's voice. I think this and the Weezer one are definitely my favorites you've done so far.

self Titled is my second fav Gorillaz album and I have to congratulate you on the amazing job on all tracks, the layering, the "instrumentation", the mixing to replicate the originals' is just chef's kiss. Also as a Latin American I have to congratulate you on the vocals for Latin Simone!

I find it impressive that you got smooth mcgroove'd (claimed because of how close you got to the original doing only acapella), and you even adding reverb and changing pitch at points really tie this together
Today is my birthday, and since my childhood, I've had a passion for the Gorillaz, which is my favorite band. I deeply admire your work and how you manage to capture every detail of every song exceptionally. Besides Gorillaz, I'm also a big fan of bands like Radiohead and Strokes, which are among my all-time favorites. Receiving these songs as a birthday present is truly amazing to me. I want to express my sincere thanks for this.
