I remember when I started my fiber arts journey it was hard to tell the stitches apart from each other but with time it’s easy (and easy to spot mistakes lol)

Once in Gdr kids could learn this after school. It's called "Klöppeln" in german. As kid i was fascinated by this. Only rich kids could learn it, cause it was expensive. After the fall of Gdr it got lost, almost nobody did this anymore. What a shame. It's such nice art.
