Having contact with their lowest tier employees 'team members' means I get to learn things during 'casual talks'. They are still pushing DEI training as mandatory and it isn't just a Golden Rule type training.
They've also seen their hours cut as bad if not worse than in 2019. (Those that are still there this long due to economics.)
My own family used to shop at Target since it spread out to Western U.S. states. The amount of traffic even on a weekend is laughable to that back then. Yes, the internet giant Amazon accounts for a lot of that, but its like shopping at Lowe's and then ten minutes later the same day going to Home Depot. Lowe's is extremely light traffic while HD is heavy.
It's really sad. Target and Lowe's used to be good stores with better quality stuff than their competitors. Even Target's paper ads were fun to read with humorous texts.
I hope both start trying to survive in earnest if only for the sake of those employees. At least Target seems to realize their path course needs correcting.
That's great to hear. NOW.... they need to REDUCE it more. NO company should be so political!!!! Companies should NEUTRAL!!!! You neither support or oppose any groups. I don't see what is so difficult about that. Remove your from all political crap.
Butt blasting doesnt belong on products
You can find butt blasting products in adult stores im sure.
Time to Cancel Target. Who's with me?
All those pride clearance? What to do with them 🤔🤔🤔
Thank goodness
Shame on you Target.
What, for carrying Pride at all or for not carrying more?
Another Bud Light moment in history
I wish they would get rid of all their religious products as well. Fair is fair.
Morality is not compatible with capitalism. Capitalism seeks profits morality does not. Religion seeks profits.
Yeah… because it is so full of them. Get real.
@@justing42It’s literally a section. Stop being sensitive
I've never seen a Christian section in any Target, stop bullshitting and gaslighting
Sorry but I would never buy nothing in Target again!
Ive BOYCOTTED them for a couple YEARS. DONT MISS EM!
I shop at Target sometimes if they have a product I want, despite me disagreeing with them. I shop at Walmart, despite me disagreeing with them. I love a sammich from Chik Fil A even though I disagree with them.
Trade is one of the things that transcends boundaries . You are annoying and I don't like you.
@user-rh8fl8qz2z I don’t like you either. Companies under capitalism are morally neutral. capitalism supposes endless profits. If morality conflicts with profits morality has to go.
@@danielmcdermott3558 Your opsec is bad. Real bad.
Maybe it’s because the world doesn’t revolve around LGBT 🤷🏻♂️
Its hypocritical for anyone who claims that they aren't homophobic because either 1. Its supposedly a "meaningless insult" or 2. They aren't literally scared of the gays to be celebrating this. Its also hypocritical for people who claim to be against cancel culture
It's not hypocritical at all. You don't understand what the word means.
I am an anti-woke homosexual who can't stand "Pride".
Also, "cancel culture" refers to individuals, not corporations.
I stopped shopping at Target. Too expensive. There are other alternative stores that are much cheaper. Well, I guess I could continue to shop at ones in California. Fill the cart up and not pay. It’s not like there arresting folks for shoplifting in Cali. They even do it in front of Newsome so it must be ok.
Did you just watch like 2 news reports about shoplifting in SF one day and profile the whole state accordingly?
Way to fold, Target.
over wokeness has gone too far as it is, it needed to slide back a bit...
Perhaps then we should ramp up civil rights protections for minorities then also
@@asha8443 nah, we wont be doing that, they got enough protections as it is...
@@asha8443there isn’t a single thing a white person in this country can do that a minority can’t. Minorities have an ADVANTAGE. Re: affirmative action.
@@asha8443- Which minorities? In both the DEI and CRT constructs both jews and asians are the oppressors. Hypocritical much?
Aye that’s good, it already everywhere lol
Perverse ideological intent...
Targets decision was smart.
I guess morals do have a price
Apple might be next?
Not surprised here! Good Riddance!
Serious question. If you are not the target of the product why Do you care ? How does it affect you ?
@@mrpartsask yourself that…pretty sure there is one thing in the world that you dislike that doesn’t affect you
@@justing42 Target sells bibles and religious paraphernalia. And somehow, I dont screach like a raging Karen because I spotted religious crrrap in their stores.
See how that works??
A reply in a comment section isn’t a screech. An adult going into a store and knocking down merchandise like a 5 year old having a tantrum meltdown IS.
See how that works??
@@justing42 I don’t go around stores destroying the merchandise I don’t like. Only religious lunatics are obsessed all day thinking about rainbows and peoples genitals when they go to Target.
We need Mike Myers back
Put that crap in California stores I’m sure they’ll be ok with it
California and New York are really the only true far left states.
Woke. When are conservatives gonna get over their obsession with woke?
There's no longer enough room because of all the space needed for the plus-size women's clothing used to signal their commitment to another trendy social agenda.
Boycott Target!😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠
never , you people are anoying , nobody cares who sleep with
You're too late.
We already did
target management must be related to the genius who did the ads for bud light.
Disgusting. Anticipation of a possible second Trump term isn’t even mentioned in this piece but no doubt it’s a factor. Target’s anticipatory surrender to intellectual Neanderthals is vomit making.
😫😫 But Trump😫😫😫
Trump derangement patient...go get some help
The reason was 100% financially motivated, child mind.
@deebee4575 Maybe so, but half of America is still behind the times thinking that by granting lgbt community basic rights somehow takes away from their own.
@@asha8443 What basic rights are this group being denied? What does that have to do with stores not participating in grooming?
Yeah, Modelo number one beer
Good.
Target Corporation is a bunch of cowards
Good... they learned their lesson...
Finally
Nice.😂😅
I ain’t surprised
Stepping off of courageous actions just makes it more taboo I wish target would have never tried
They lost me for good last year. I haven’t missed it as Walmart has really stepped up their game in our area.
You realize Walmart sold pride stuff last year as well?
We need Austin Powers 4
Cool... Doesnt matter to me at all
Honestly their products were ugly so i didnt buy anything.
It’s interesting to see companies in capitalism playing by capitalist ideology while trying to be moral. Capitalism presupposes a neutral moral consideration. While we can’t say something is moral because it makes profit so to can we not say a company is moral because it does or does not make profit. But we can say for certain a company under capitalism will not chose to remain moral among a loss of profit.
Good. People need to stop idolizing pride.
Well done
Probably TNF too
Good I'm glad they are rid of Rainbow pride theme, Rainbow pride is ugly in the eyes of God, but it's not going to stop me from shopping at target.
Who cares
Modelo is king
Migrants buying that
Doing this lets the thugs win stand strong show your pride don’t be bullied
where is the evidence there were thugs?
No ones acting like a thug. They just calmly saying keep it out of kids stuff and you guys freak out like weirdos. I guess when the party you vote for is failing the country and funding wars, you need to find a way, anyway to make yourself the good guy still.
@@rasputinspickledpeepee1976I am very perplexed that you don't know the word "pride" has more than one definition. Never tell your kids you're proud of them. They should have humility instead of love.
@@chelseagirl278They just said that their employees received death threats. 🙄
It's motivated by profit, nothing more.
