One of my favorites with kyoka is 50 kendo. Once you land that counter and mortal ties, oh brother it's like you got them on a leash while they're getting jumped and they literally have no choice but to fight back.
The kendo essence does about 3 bars with kyoka

I rolled kyoka while trying to get suzume(for bankai) and my friend told me to rr it since its "bad" well i gave him a reality check in a 1v1 first off Kyoka counter is FRAME 1 so basically no startup and True power is also FRAME 1, Shatter is basically free lol. Safe to say he got humbled.

Kyoka has a unseeable counter, a free stun, uninteruptable 10% dmg boost and a free passive after the shatter procs that gives u a get out of jail card and lets not even talk about the insanity that the bankai is

X has full hyper and true stun, you get an autododge too for some reason, and your clone can use essences which is downright unfair
the clone is legit a better fighter than them, thats why they complain it has no hp
honestly kyoka isn't bad its just not fun especially since true power is so horrible and shatter doesn't do anything cool in particular. the only thing thats carrying it is the clone. The bankai isn't even good itself. imo blood bankai is better than kyoka

As someone who uses kyoka, I was hoping there would be gimicks that would actually take a decent amount of skill in order to use properly and actually confuse the opponents, but it really carries a lot. You could be several times worse than the opponent and still win once u pop the G move in bankai, and the c move doesn't even need an explanation, and you can get away with carelessly using the X move. I'm not saying the shikai its bad, I'm saying its a lot opposite from what they said it would be.

Nano please i need ur help. My problem rn is that my death flair got reseted even tho i have 50 hakuda. This wouldnt be a problem but i first got gehenna and cant blue pill bc of Blackflash. I made a ticket before showing a clip of my stats, hotbar and some previous clips but he said it wasnt restorable. Ice's atleast knocks you back and has a very large vision indication, Kyoka js summons a clone + acts as an fame 1evasive you literally can't compare these two
Daunt difference is that ice counter is 100% garunteed damage while kyoka is 50/50
counter is ice’s best move and kyoka is just a SIGNIFICANTLY better ice counter. There’s also the fact that ice’s other moves are worse overall.

I don't know if this actually works but for me it does. Using True Power when landing my counter so I force block and guarantee the live of my clone, although just for awhile (try distracting the enemy so they don't attack the clone)
If their speed, they can just dropping fang or time cut and it dies. The counter is good for getting out of stuff but the clone is cheeks bc it dies in one hit

if you run with kyoka kido you literally cannot lose that tp move alone makes it s tier for how uncancellable it is then add a 10% damage boost free evasive and a frame 1 counter that gives i frames for like 2 seconds then spawns a clone with 100% damage on top of that? And they delayed that update for balancing i call bs
Edit: forgot but i think its a bug that you can movestack with the clone counter so basically untouchable even during endlag other moves probably also movestack since this game cant fix bugs or balance anything
The only thing bad abt Kido is it gives no damage for mode so the Rei is horrible but if your in vizard early game with Kyoka Kido it’s over unless the enemy is speed in vizard

Maybe I’m biased but I don’t think you can base nerfing Kyoka over your gameplay bro your like top 0.1% if skilled players in the game and doesn’t accurately reflect the shikai in use of a regular player cause I’ve beaten a lot of Kyoka users but I agree on the indication of the counter but no need for any delay for it

I do not know why nerf kyoka suigetsu, what people do not like is that it is a strong shikai, it is not for nothing that the developers give kyoka suigetsu a mythical rarity, that is, people want shikai with mythical rarity to be on a par with shikai of low rarity and this is all just because people simply did not have enough luck to get a mythical shikai
