Damn another great game coming for Quest in October Already preordered Triangle Strategy Ember Souls (Not sure if it's coming this month, it looks like Prince of Persia VR) Batman is Day One for me And this one looks awesome
@@MetaQuestCentral Thanks for your kind words. I had so much fun voicing this character for Dark Curry computer game developers. They are a very small company who have put their hearts and souls into the creation of this game for years. I’m so happy for them!
I played the demo on Steam (so PCVR) and a lot of things feel unpolished. For example the ground level was always wrong no matter how I did my room setup. Also the battle doesn't feel good. Grimlord does better...
They really have to figure out how to start increasing the bandwidth on future mobile chipsets. We're still seeing texture sizes from like 20 years ago.
Q3 hardware is capable of much more. It's just that the quest 2 market is bigger ATM, so most games are still developed with that in mind. Things ARE beginning to change though
It’s a quest 2 game. Batman is the first made for quest 3 from the ground up far as I know. Some games have gotten 4k textures from the Q3 upgrades, so definitely capable chip.
@@starscream6629 for some reason people still view mobile chip releases like console releases. You need many times the performance over the previous generation, to get the gains I'm talking about, and a 50% boost to GPU processing, ain't it. Games have been using high res textures for 15+ years. The bandwidth on these mobile chipsets is ungodly low, and the main factor when it comes to difficulty with development.
@@MetaQuestCentral Gotcha. 👍🏼 I’ve seen a lot of games, this one included where it shows a release date then changes and now says coming Fall 2024. Even games I preordered like Starship Troopers changed the date. It’s really annoying! I guess I’ll just have to play one of the 150 games I haven’t played yet. lol 🤣🤣🤣

Ember Souls! that's another one to add to a growing list ;o
Nice gameplay video especially with no commentary! Just subscribed. Thanks for uploading this.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video!
@@MetaQuestCentral I will admit that I'm the voice of that at times annoying protagonist, Sir Anvil Capheus.
Oh, awesome! In that case, it's me who should congratulate you on your work!

This looks really fun! I love the atmosphere.
A few minutes in it comes across as a dream prototype for the designers' to test a bunch of ideas before later releasing something even more amazing.
Looks so nice🎉🎉
You can definitely tell it was made for a quest 2😂

How are you getting these games early? Mine showed a release date a few days ago and now it says coming in Fall 2024.
The game is scheduled for release on October 17, but for content creators, the embargo was on the 10th 😉

Guy sounds like Stewie Griffin on testosterone.
Looks kinda scary 😕
The walking effect is terrible. It sounds like he has hooves, and a stride of about 6 inches.
Wtf happen to the psvr2 version it just disappeared
Game looks good but he sounds like hes got hooves.
Sounds like he's on a horse half the time 😅
The sound of his walking/shoes is absolutely awfull. And: The textures are popping up. 👎🏻
upp
Looks like a ps2 game 😂
Try to run this in VR on your PS2 then 🧐
I've heard in game VR looks way better than how it shows up to us on these videos. I don't have personal experience though.
@@itsjustacomment454 yes, it looks better in VR than on the mirror. The graphics are not the problem of this game...
You weren’t even born when ps2 was a thing
