She became Miss Universe by no accident. When she came out to the stage wearing her gown representing the borders of sand and sea in SA I knew she was gonna be Miss Universe I mean look at her that time it felt like the only missing on her overall appearance was the crown. The crown perfectly fits for her and she really brought her country along with her that what made her Miss Universe.

I remember that day so well, all of the social media pages were literally buzzing, I'm from South Africa and we literally had to tell people in our pageant groups, Instagram, Twitter, etc that it was a minor mistake and that it wasn't motivated by racism. Because the thought of a white man 'now I know as David' shouting at black delegate obviously was going to leave room for rumors and interpretation of ill-treatment. This to me is a lesson that for all pageant fans to learn is to not take every split second quite literally. I'm glad everything worked out for Zozi. Though I really wanted to see you in that Sherri hill dress, it matched with her skin tone... I love finals night dress, it's so iconic.

It was on MU Twitter. I felt like the MUO social media team created the whole drama. The damaged dress was her final winning evening gown, which was fixed.
@PAYTON RYAN not really. she said that the one who was yelking at her knew her and that he only did it as a joke which she finds it funny. but someone had secretly recorded a video and posted it online. obviously the video was misinterpreted and several of zozibinis friends and families called her and was concerned.

I am shocked by the number of negative comments in this stream. She is Divine. Take a 2nd look at the people who you consider to be beautiful and stop being such sore losers. Zozi won because she deserved to WIN. Period. Her positive exchanges with Miss Iceland and with the technician before someone nefariously twisted the story is what this footage is about. Maybe you haters are part of that nefarious group. Please, sore losers, give us a break.
The lesson we can get is that don't panic.
It is not possible to 'break' fabric tear yes break - never. The dress was poorly made each bead should have been individually stitched and secured - that is true couture. SEAMS to me like the beads were at attached without true care and attention to detail ... Which is true couture. You looked and look lovely - without your stunning figure the dress would not have looked as nice as it did .... it is a fabulous design.
People are silly on the socials. For sheer controversy.
Zozi I guess maybe you are trying to uplift our spirits which is good during this crisis but I think you should also talk about how the pandemic is affecting you, it could help someone out there,. Thank you.
