I think Miller panicked somewhere along the way. He realized he wasn't funny. And being a comedian by profession, and not being funny, created an existential crisis somewhere along the lines of the Pope figuring out he looks better in a Yankee's baseball cap than his holiness's Papal tiara (sorry, my imitation of Miller's tired "humor"). So, he made the career change to right wing personality. Its an easy audience, cause you don't have to be funny.

Are they aware that the divide is more urban/rural than state by state? Take Wisconsin for instance. Most of it is conservative, but Madison and Milwaukee are super liberal. I'm sure most other states are like that as well.

+Cheryl64014 There's plenty of other shows in other formats if this one doesn't suit your desires. Don't you think it's a little self important and vain to request someone change the way they do their show just for you even though plenty of people enjoy the show the way it is. The spontaneity and real time reactions is what makes this show particularly honest, funny, and insightful in my opinion.
If you like something more clinical and scripted, that's a totally valid opinion, but to suggest a format change on a show that's been long standing and successful for so long is some self important bullshit.
