Can one travel for a long distance eg Nairobi to Kisumu and back?
Its not so advisable because for one its not very stable at high speeds then on such long distances the cvt gearbox may overheat. Its not a car that is suitable for long journeys

Good point buy you can't compare a nissan dayz and Honda fit. Dayz compares with suzuki stingray and Honda fit compares with Nissan Note and vitz
