Two very poor decisions by the referee against PSG, the penalty decision and the red card for Lawrence. That being said Olympique Lyonnais are Champions Elect and will be looking to take back their crown from PSG this season. Great to see Hegerberg scoring too, fantastic!
With respect to the red card decision, I think the referee got two things wrong: First, Mallard fouled the PSG defender Ilestedt (she just run her over), and second, Mallard was not denied a clear goal scoring opportunity by Lawrence. The PSG player # 4 (Dudek) would have gotten between Mallard and the goal, given that Mallard played the ball away from goal, preventing her from having an obvious goal scoring opportunity.
I was disappointed that Laurence got send out but OL was already 2 goals ahead . I wanted OL to beat PSG with their full squads ... it is more satifying that way . Last meeting was a friendly match which OL out play PSG and beat them 5 to 1. OL is much better team this year , they have acquired more experienced and more solid players such as Van Der Donk, Endler, Maronni, Brunn and Ada Hagerburg is started to join back with the team . OL is the ONLY team that beat Barcalona ( defending champions) during the summer this year in Portland,USA. Any team that play Barcalona seem to have fear in their eyes but when Barcalona Play OL ...maybe out of respect , they seem a bit worried !
Look at the way the PSG players play, they always seem to have no confidence for the pass when they are always approached by Van de Donk and take the ball in all positions. That's why PSG lost to Lyon.

As for the red card, the fact that even the PSG player goes down indicates there was contact - a contact that stopped a goal scoring opportunity. It is true however that on a 'good day' PSG will normally beat Lyon.

It's ridiculous that when these guys try to find excuses for their ignorance, they will say the people who agree with the referee are people who don't understand football, or Maaland fouled first, or Lyon played too drastic, or so on... Silly, Lyon played well for the whole game and led PSG 2-0 before a red card. Lyon are a team determined to win and they have tried to play so hard, if Lyon's strikers had better finishing shots, PSG could have even conceded 10 goals or more.
What did Camus say about morality and football? PSG lost his match before it began because of the scandalous violence between two PSG players 3 days prior. It tainted their performance and troubled their minds enough to make bad passes and stupid fouls.

Well, IMHO it was not a penalty, and certainly not a red card. I can't help but feeling PSG was being ripped off here.
