    I used to binge watch your videos when I was a teen.
    Found your channel again and it brought back so many memories. I remember you said something like you are "half greek" right?
    An oh yeah you've got so much jacked since then.

      Hey my friend, yes I'm half Greek - half Dutch (born and raised in Greece though). Nice to have you back!
      Indeed I've added quite some mass and strength since then.
      Just a matter of consistent training, studying a lot and being as smart as possible with programming, while always minimizing injury potential.
      I'm about to turn 40 but I'm still making progress after 11 years which is cool to see :))

Abs on days off. Slip in a Tabata 2 to 3 times a day when I'm feeling energized 😁. I try to be careful because I over did it one time and was out of commission for 3 months. I used heavy dumbbells and my back took the hit and said "NO!". Besides your books 📚 I use the 7 minute back solution and another book from a back surgeon called "Get Serious". Diet is my battle 🙄🫨😔

    I also like to do supersets. Mostly antagonist style. I never understood why people do the 2 exercises and than take a rest. I always do the first exercise, than 1 minute rest, than the second exercise, than 1 one minute rest. Repeat 2 to 5 times. I find it much better to recuperate between each set of each muscle. Is this a wrong approach?

    Really enjoy your content brother, there’s a lot of great exercise and diet “systems” out there, again if you have time for everything. Between you, ATG to some degree and Kyle Boggeman you’ve got it nailed down for most folks. there’s a lot to keeping things simple and using exercise as an energy creator rather than a drain

    Hi Anthony! Perhaps the circuit training method fulfills the need to shorten trains, would you agree on that? My question is: is it less optimal than the method you show, for building muscle? By circuit training I mean jumping from one exercise to another, with 15 seconds between, and do about four exercises (push, pull, legs, abs), performing 3 or more sets with about 2 mins rest in between. By the way, is it just me or anyone else suffers from severe perspiration after workouts, even after a good shower? For me is a big disconfort, since I workout in the morning and go straight to the office, afterwards. Any thoughts/sugestions to aproach this problem?

    • @BodyweightMuscle
      @BodyweightMuscle  Місяць тому +1

      Hey Daniel! Yes, superset are better for building muscle. The main reason is that with circuits are heavy on the cardiovascular system, which holds you back from being able to get as many reps as you'd be able to get if you'd be doing something more linear. In simple words, you reach cardiovascular failure before you reach muscle failure. Does that make sense?
