💜This is such an informative and inspiring video, Ana Juma💜Shadow Work is indeed a deep practice, and it's so worth the time we spend digging deeper into our souls. This is one of the practices that helped me heal from the pain and guilt after my divorce in 2013, and I continue to practice it as a personal growth and self-discovery tool.
You really have such a sparking beauty that emits wisdom. Thank you for this video, it’s very informative and well made! Definitely will be coming back to this.
For a moment there I think I fell in love 🤭 Ana.. this is so good. Carl Jung is one of my idols. This video and your video on The Prophet have really plucked my heart strings. As you already know, this is not an easy subject to unpack and you absolutely nailed it! Well done ❤️ 👏🏽 I enjoyed this so much ☺️
I just want to know how you find the awnser to the question I'm stuck on in my shadow work journal I've tried to find it myself and I'm just not I'm trying to find out how one finds the awnser when you cant find it and I'm just not finding anything so idk what else to do at this point I have the book she's showing here but im stuck on the page 35 1 reflection questions if literally anyone could give advice and not cryptic awnsers please cause it's all I've gotten so far why can't people awnser straight forward
Hi @zekkangames5019, I understand that shadow work can feel overwhelming and frustrating, especially when you're stuck on a specific question. Here are a few suggestions to help you move forward: 1. Meditate before Journaling. Clear your mind and ground yourself through meditation. It helps bring you into a reflective state where insights often arise more naturally. You can use any relaxation meditation track. I often guide people through an entrance meditation before journaling, and the clarity they experience is often remarkable! 2. Revisit the prompt later. If the question feels too heavy or unclear right now, give yourself permission to skip it and revisit it when you're ready. Approach it again when you're feeling calm, trusting, and open. In the meantime, explore other techniques or prompts in your journal to keep the practice flowing. 3. Take breaks when needed. Shadow work can stir up intense emotions. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, it’s okay to take a break. Journaling is a journey, not a race, and giving yourself time to process is part of the healing. Hope it helps!
Sometimes a creative person needs something outside their comfort zone to help with a question. When I hit a snag I turn to Tarot cards. I shuffle well, ask the question and if a card jumps out, great. If not I pick one and reflect on the meaning and how it might or does relate to my question. It’s a prompt. In my opinion it is a suggestion from my higher self.
@sundog3150 I'm not opposed to that I've not learned how the cards work or even their meanings yet I'm still learning the basics I've also decided to finish my book of shadows first that I've just started in like the past month
Thank you for watching! Subscribe so we can stay in touch. More videos coming soon ❤️
