This is so beautiful! I am the beginner but I actually feel like I could do this watching this video! You explain things so thoroughly and with your calm voice and calm demeanor I feel like I could actually do this! I think I'm going to give it a try. I bought a set of heavy duty paints by accident off Amazon there's 60 different colors and I have the medium to use so I was going to return them but I might as well keep them and use it for this project. Thank you so much Rachel! I look forward to many more projects with you. And learning from you. Thank you so very much!
It’s my pleasure 😊 Yes! I bet you can use that paint. I have heavy body acrylic paints from 25 years ago that were revitalized with that Liquitex pouring medium. It’s a miracle! ✨
Hey Rachel. Remember back on your Torus mandala, when someone said that certain particular soft green paint made her think of sloth claws ...remember? Well ..... HONEY .....in this painting right here, those big copper dots that you connect makes me think of NIPPLE TASSELS 🤣🤣🤣😅😅🤣🤣🤣😅😅🤣🤣🤣 oh gawd, I HAD to. I love your passion, Rachel, don't stop 💖💖💖
😂 😂 😂 I'm DYING laughing! There have been many nipple moments in my dotting videos, but TASSLES is a new one! LOL! I totally can't unsee it now and I'm ok with it. Hey, we gotta make this sexy somehow, right?! Thanks for watching!
@@TheDottingCenter Just give me a personal HEADS UP when you contemplate adding jockstraps to your arsenal. Not that I find them sexy but some do 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is beautiful!! I’m a beginning dotter and watching your videos have taught me so much! Thank you for all you show us. I’m wondering how you choose your colors or do you just do it on the fly?
I choose my colors based on how I feel kinda like that Dr Suess book My Many Colored Days. For this painting I wanted to work with warm, comfy colors like a candlelit wood cabin. Thanks for watching❤️
I'm really loving this! Those connected dots make me think of rosey cheeks and a smile. LOL. What is the size of the silicone tools you're using? Thanks Rachel.
I have a question already. On the first large teardrop dots, do I pull it up and leave the indentation there or should I fill it up and make a smooth puffy dot. I know we go back in later, I just don’t want to mess up right away.
Oh great question! You can leave the indentation or make it flat. Take a look at the beginning of the video, you can take a screenshot of the finished painting to see what petal you’re referring to. I tried to get different angles so you could see the puffiness of the painting. Either way will work 😊
Are the big set of TDC tools plastic or silicone on the tip? I’m having problems with right consistency of my paints and they dry up in palette. How do you store your mixed paints? I don’t always have opportunity to finish a project completely with some colors I’ve mixed for a certain shade I need. The paint dries out and I have prob with getting same shade to finish project and it’s so noticeable. Please help!
TDC tools are a hard plastic tip with a silicone like soft handle. I store my paints in a closed palette with a spray of water to keep them from drying out.
I love the conjoined commas. With that thick paint you can really see the flow from one to the other.
The thick paint is so fun to play with isn’t it? 😊
SPEECHLESS, MIND BLOWN!!!!
Thank you Cheryllynn! 💗

Stunning, hoping to seeing the finish painting, name of paint? Please
Thank you! All the paint colors are listed in the description box. I believe these are all Arteza heavy body paints.
I'm really loving this! Those connected dots make me think of rosey cheeks and a smile. LOL. What is the size of the silicone tools you're using? Thanks Rachel.
Haha I love that those dots are smiling : ) I used 7mm silicone tools.

Do you let it dry before going on to the next row?
I only let it dry before adding a dot on top.

I’m using heavy body paints and pouring medium in glossy. It dries hard like plastic.
