How glad we are that the photographers were busy, there, and capturing the moments. Cool old photos.
I'm so glad that bras advanced well beyond the extreme push up/points worn by Marilyn Monroe in the picture of her from the 1950s. They seem so uncomfortable.
👍🏼. I remember my aunt who was a secretary / receptionist at a firm in Winston-Salem throwing away one of those bras because sales reps who came for appointments “talked to her chest”. 😂
looks pretty silly too.
The ostrich pulling the carriage was definitely not in London England it was in America somewhere.
how do you know?
@@linebrunelle1004The cars are on the wrong side of the road and that’s an American policeman.
You are right, it's in Los Angeles not London.
The Southend, Essex picture is a bit inaccurately labelled. It should say "The Kursaal Fun Fair at Southend, Essex". This was a permanent attraction that my mates & I used to ride our bikes to from London's outer suburbs in the '50s and '60s.
Marilyn Monroe was so beautiful and so are the other girls!
Love the beautiful piano music that accompany s the great pictures
I enjoy your videos keep them coming.
Thx for the wonderfull pictures
Loved the photos😊
Love the shot at the 10:50 mark, showing the LA River accommodating the hot rod crowd of the 50's.
Great photographs, but why would they render anyone speechless?
"a lady picking water lilies" might as well be a painting 😍
ha, 10:33 preparing the newspaper , a job my grandfather did (dutch newspaper then)... The letters were 'set' in 'lead' blocks, mirrored... so my granddad always read the news 'in mirror style'
I still have a lead block with my name that way, mirrored... he once made for me and my sister.
Fabulous trip down Memory Lane and earlier.
I enjoyed this
In reference to the girl standing on the bicycle seat, there was certainly none of those things as stated but there were certainly plenty of injuries that where never photographed nor shown. Plenty of broken everything and plenty of road rash and messed up faces. One that survived.
Yes, I've got a few scars to prove it.
Awesome
Interesting!
4:55 it’s a net
4:01 Stewardesses.
13:02 That photo was taken a second before the man on the left tripped over the fire hydrant....😅😅😅
Great photos! Only those distracting waves in de background are a minus.
4:26. Ooh how can he?? 😮.
❤
Where do you find your pictures?
Is this the Danube Waltz ?
No, this is not den Danube Waltz, it's the "Flower Waltz" from the Ballett "Nutcracker" from P. Tschaikowsky. Greetings from Austria 🙂
A korean man with horse hair hat and bamboo PIPE.
Fat burger the gentleman at the counter was pressed and neat with his shirt tucked in. I wonder if the Canadian man 1940s fell over the fire hydrant? Batman photo, the Joker is Cesar Romero, ironically a very handsome man and one of few in full face makeup. Just sayin😊
14:41, thats not London, its clearly USA.
Hey y'all 😮
I was in Tokyo in 1969... thus I don't consider the photo rare or historic.
Absolutely disgusting, swallowing live goldfish
bhaaaaaa "comon your better than pictures like that
