EDIT: YOUR TOP 20 IS LIVE ua-cam.com/video/aoAHYKEU_oc/v-deo.html For those of you who really know me know my real top 10 is just more Meredith Stout x 10...
I’d love to see - Less hud, more diagetic/in-world screens. - more focus on role-playing centric features - slower pace of in-game time/event triggers to make space for more free play - less auto-resetting controls like camera angle, radio toggle, bike wheel lights, etc. - less static locations for gang fights, more dynamic crime - a tad more story branches that still join up with the same plot points but change the context/meaning of those subsequent plot points.
I think the pacing of Phantom Liberty should be the basis for the next game, where there's an occasional lull between major plot events that encourage you to do the side content
Pretty sure hud is diagetic. Its info directly in your eye implant. If you mean been able maybe to tweek it hide/show only what you want through an eye implant menu, i understand.
Nice list! I had to google diagetic though, NGL. The hud is part of your kiroshi though, so it fits well, but projected onto surfaces and stuff would be cool.
The HUD is entirely in place, it’s probably far more toned down than it would actually be. Go watch the intro level in Mirrors Edge Catalyst and see how utterly overloaded Faith becomes when she jacks in after leaving “corrective conditioning”
I'd like to see other entities, whether they be corpos, gangs, fixers, edgerunner crews, etc having an effect on the open world on their own, but also reacting to things the player does. Just a bit to make the city seem more dynamic. I don't think a traditional reputation system makes sense, as loyalties shift as quickly as eddies, but something similar where it's still possible to be sold out or actively betrayed would be cool.
That would be great! They could have a shiftable territory dynamic quite easily, that would show very real impact of gangs, especially given your input as a player
Nah. V shouldn’t be the mc. I think it’d be cooler if he had a drink or a reference of some sort, someone should talk about him as a the legend who stormed arasaka tower, soloed an army, then soloed adam smasher.
I disagree on continuing as V since that would undermine the semi urgency of the story. Unless it's like the Witcher 3 where Geralt has different choices, characters, items and cosmetics depending on the choices or lacktherof by importing your Witcher 2 save or doing the intro quiz. But to make all those choices matter for subsequent games, it'd take forever. Imagine having to rerecord every line as V because Johnny is in their brain on your save? I imagine Johnny could've learned from V and became them somewhat but even then that's just one of several entirely different V's you could be as opposed to the nice or mean versions of Geralt and whether or not he killed some characters. The only thing that really ever seems to stay consistent is a militech takeover of Night City
I'd love to see: - FPS combat / 3rd person camera options (for running, inspection etc.) - even more combat variety (obv. no Relic, but other crazy endgame options to get a even fancier combat experience than in CP2077 / KEEP THE GORE) - integration of aerial-combat (some kind of jetpack integration; maybe mid-endgame / f.e. mini-bosses that also use aerial-combat) - a more dynamic open-world with options to interact with NPCs, do activities etc. / more romance and relationship-options etc. - more enemy-variety + more challenging fights (actual miniboss fights within the open-world like the Cyberpsychos, but with more variety and heavier difficulty) - 100% individualisation of Cyberware with more options (f.e. 2 different arms, legs / feet / arms / hands etc. should offer unique options to combine) - visual Cyberware with the option to design (f.e. Arasaka arms look different than Militech arms, you can colorize it all and build your own fully body conversion until the endgame) - more options to own and design your own home (buy houses / apartments and design them) - more options with vehicles / AVs (design and customize vehicles, use your own AI controlled AV as a Taxi) - no pre-made backgrounds but heavy impact of your actions on the story and on other characters - story integrated NG+ (after the story you can stay in the city and keep your houses / apartments etc.) - keep the great modding ability of your games (i'm a modder for CP2077 on Nexus / diff. Discords and couldn't live without mods for Orion) - longer main-story (i don't care about big Hollywood names, but even though I totally love the CP2077 main-story, I wish for some more hours of the main-story in Orion)
@@StuGamePlus The more Meredith, the merrier - Merredithier? On a side note, beating Woodman to a pulp with Sir John Phallustiff is one of my most satisfying videogame moments in recent memory.
What I would like from another Cyberpunk game: 1) A return to Night City for the main game, but have different locations (like the Moon, Crystal Palace, etc.) be accessible via Expansions 2) A time jump that's post-5th Corporate War, but still during a shadow-war between humanity & AI 3) Returning characters that aren't just pure fan-bait, like the Russian Fixer or the Afterlife Merc Regina Jones has us help 4) Multi-use cyberware. Like how Mantis Blades were originally supposed to allow wall climbing on top of being sword-arms
I mapped that kind of idea out already. All arm Cyberware has traversal abilities like Monowire being used as a Grappler or adding Hover and Jets to legs or arms. I even thought out the inputs and Cyberware to attach these abilities to so people wouldn't have to sacrifice much to add better traversal abilities
I’d love to be able to side with a gang and it directly affects that gang and their presence in NC, and perhaps the story. Imagine female protagonist siding with the mox and taking down the tigerclaws which impacts the environment with more mox graffiti and less tigerclaw graffiti, less appearances and if arasaka is still around, it affects gigs related to arasaka and it unlocks things based on the faction like chrome and customizations related to the faction. The replayability alone!
Some good suggestions. I'd like to see: - More detailed interiors and interactivity within NPCs. I want to go into shops and eat, buy things, and interact more RP wise with the world - More activities to do in the city which could be extended to other NPCs (friends + romance options) - Expanded home ownership: more apartments, houses, mansions, boat house that are upgradable and customizable to some degree - Having a crew you can build along your playthrough by befriending characters and having them join you on certain missions or live at your place - A lot more customization in your appearance and cyberware - Even more movement abilities. I play with a lot of mods and have seen NC from angles impossible in the base game and I really wish that was possible without the mods. - Flying cars/bikes maybe keep the very expensive/a late game item as it might break some engagement with the ground level of the city in terms of traversing the scenery - A more blank slate MC with more RPG elements that allows you to craft your persona and backstory that can have impact on the story unlike what was done for 2077 where it didn't matter at all really - Vehicle customization: colors, tuning, parts which could also extend into racing - Cyberspace: VR, blackwall, the old net etc - Having your character get drunk/drugged up and distorting the visuals/vibrancy could be really cool - More NPC behaviors: Gangs committing crimes and police chasing them, Trauma Team saving clients, people just doing more stuff with intent instead of standing or walking around - I think having two functional modes for 1st and 3rd povs which be great. Sometimes I would like to switch to just see my character and can't. The 1st adds so much damn immersion though so more actions and in-world menus and interactions. Being able to have your character do combos and acrobatic moves with their cyberware would visually hit so hard. - If it is possible: An even more detailed Night City (no car/NPC fade in or billboarding) with more interior spaces, skyways interconnecting the city, space casino/resort, and god I would absolutely love to see NeoTokyo, just like Akira, even if it is just a lot of scenery/backdrop and we can only be in a small mission area for a bit
I agree with a lot of what you've said. Though your obsession with cannibals is . . . troubling . . . CDPR showed with Phantom Liberty the roadmap to how Orion should be. Gigs shouldn't have easy answers, and sometimes no right one. Interacting more with fixers, like you do with Hands. He's the only one you have a reason to meet in person, and he's the only one you get to say goodbye to. And a main story that forced you to make decisions that had serious consequences for everyone. Night City is to Cyberpunk what Gotham City is to Batman-a fundamental part of the lore. There's a lot of the city that was not used in the game. Setting Orion 5-10 years down the road, it should be about living the aftermath of whatever huge event (next corporate war, AI invasion, etc) happens. V is a legend, a memory, who nobody knows what happened to them. But their imprint remains in places and with people. The power structure changes; Arasaka in decline, Kang Tau filling the vacuum, and the NUSA using Militech to bring Night City back into the fold. Gangs in the TTRPG were a lot more interesting. Clowns? Vampires? A gang that looked like the Kennedys? Oh, and being able to have cyber limbs that looked like cyber limbs?
I like your Gotham analogy! Really good point, Gotham is a main character and the stage where all the batman characters play their parts. NC could end up being the same, in which case, they just need to enhance it and make it even better. with some Satellite locations, much like Batman. And oh damn! I completely forgot about my desire for actual visual cyber limbs! I want them more than I want cannibals.
Good list. And I loved the casual carnage going on in the background throughout. In fact, one thing I'd like to see are npcs who drive around in that kind of style. Would make for some interesting adventures every time you leave your apartment. In all seriousness though, I liked the wardrobe/transmog system they added in, but I want to see it extended to weapons. There are some great skins for certain guns that you can hardly ever find, and when you do, they're usually weak. In a 1st person game we see our weapons more than anything else about our character, so some more customisation would have gone down a treat. And the one (kind of) NG+ feature I would personally like to see is actually carrying over some unlocked transmogs. Every new game, I find myself really missing Aurore's suit until I get back to that point in the dlc. I don't mind my V being weak again, but I'd like her to look good while rediscovering her mojo.
The cyberpunk genre rely heavily on human/machine aesthetics. It's for the reason alone we should have 3rd Person Perspective alongside FPP. I don't see the harm in having both available for all players.
@@marcmata5574 whilst I do agree, I think the fact we are forced into FPP is one of the main reasons the game is very immersive, particularly when talking to characters or interactions like when we first meet Reed
I'm pretty okay with the First Person View. I think 3rd person would prove problematic given the dynamism and variety of combat, but we'll see. I'll add it to the list too. Many will want 3RD person no doubt.
@benwatkins2836 i get their reasoning. I just think it's best to have both. They did for driving, but not for when you're outside the vehicles? So when it comes to driving, they're alright with breaking immersion? That never made any sense to me. I've always been for letting players choose how they want to play and forcing them to adhere to one perspective alienates people who want to role-play as their character in a cyberpunk world. They ultimately sacrificed role-playing for immersion when there was literally nothing stopping them from having both. I want to see my character and the changes I've made to them. I want to see their clothes, I want to see cool and badass animations, dodging bullets, sword fights, body upgrades, etc, much like how I used to play with my action figures growing up; while knowing there's always FPP when I feel like immersing myself in the game world.
Being a "Bigger part" and a "Savior" character instead of the small merc goes against most of what Cyberpunk stands for. In most Cyberpunk stories, the setting IS the main character, with its megacorps controlling everything and overall hopeless vibe. You may be an A-list merc, a godly hacker or the best Fixer... but you'll still feel the oppressive boot of the powers that be, you'll never be untouchable or particularly special.
What I would like to see; 1, More character customizing options like DD2 2, Less Revolvers and more weapon variety 3, More Car veriety 4, More romancing options and scenes 5, Car and Bike customization, the can add a garage system 6, More amazing and bigger stories 7, Iteractions with pets and other animals 8, More hacking 9, New locations with a flight system like how they added trains 10, New and Diverse enemies in the open world and story.
For me the thing that I lacked the most is the post-romantic interactions with characters. U made some friends but u can't do shit with them. It's even more strange with u'r love interest. I want to hang out with them and those text chats are awesome but that's mainly as it stays. Yes, u can invite them over to your place but all u have is a couple of sitting animations. No random talks, almost no romantic interactions, very little context animations and u can't go on a fucking date in a bar or something. I know that mods exists but it's not that complete experience as it could've been. Also, I'd love to see braindances as a thing!
This would be good for me too, like going to the casino or bowling with them. Shit GTA4 had this and everyone except me seemed to hate it! I loved going bowling.
@@StuGamePlus "cousin it's your cousin! Why don't you take me bowling?" "NIKO! IT'S BRUCY BABE!!" Loved it! Still think that that feature was super underrated.
Great video bro! And I agree with all your points For me I’d like: More backstory options - have nomad, street kid, corpo as normal but add some more like ex media, ex soldier/ police, ex gang member (chose your gang) etc and have the backstories much more ingrained to the story The 5th corpo war which leads into the black wall completely being destroyed and then the rogue AIs coming I’d like 3x cities - Night City then maybe a Texas City (to see the independent Texas) and Tokyo or even Busan More gangs obviously - are werewolves real? Alien serpents from Alpha Centurai 😅, as someone said there is a clown 🤡 gang in the lore already put them in it - they could go crazy with this The Crystal Palace and the Moon - the Crystal Palace has its own humans on it according to the lore (I think) Definitely more exploration of the net More heists Add proper garage’s for your vehicles, customisation of vehicles etc I think they are going to jump forwards to 2087-2089 In game we have an in depth side quest about V and their shenanigans (I think we are going to be a new MC) A third person mode Able to make serious eddies without having to use exploits (a more balanced economy lol you have legendary stuff it shouldn’t only sell for a small handful of eddies!) - although if exploits existed in any world it would be Cyberpunk 😅 More relationships, one night stands, have booty calls, more joytoys - I’d like any full romances to be able to be done no matter what gender/ sexuality you are (I no in real life people have preferences but this is a game after all - I’m convinced they took this out last minute in 2077) Expand on the BDs (although they are limited on what they could do with this as some of them are a bit crazy 😅) More depth to characters we meet - maybe add repeatable missions here More in depth fixers! More customisation in general More side content like GTA has (golf, tennis, bowling, pool lol 😂)
#1 for me is randomized events between npc’s like a cop shoving someone as an npc makes a decision to scream or cry and their responses aren’t linear at a specific location but can occur anywhere to make the game feel like npc’s have emotions and depth. You’re approached by someone (robbery, join a crew, being arrested, attempted assassination) but it occurs non linear and could happen at any moment as you play.
Ohhh...a Herrera Riptide! Be still my heart! One of my favorite activities in the current game is stealing one and driving it around until V has to abandon it and it disappears. Takes _far_ too long to acquire one to own currently... Okay...here's my vision for Cyberpunk Orion: the Tower ending becomes canon...Night City has changed a lot but remains partly familiar, with a lot of new building and districts a la Dogtown. Some known NPCs are still knocking around..Rogue, River, Panam, Kerry and maybe even Judy, not to mention the various fixers [but some new fixers too...maybe Regina and the Padre have retired?]. Orion will have a new cast of main characters and a new story with the 2077 game just a thing in the past [like the Netrunners anime], and V commemorated just with a few references and a new cocktail at the Afterlife. I see it involving the story that is begun with Gary The Prophet, Jeff and Liz Peralez, Alt, Mr. Blueeyes...etc. Okay, all that was written while I listened to your list...looks like we have some intersecting ideas, but I have comments [of course]. 10] Post ending game activities...nice idea, but I'm not sure if it could go on forever. Maybe a parallel game mode that removes the story elements and just leaves players with a sandbox? My forum reading suggest that a lot of people would enjoy this... 9] Mini-game consoles don't excite me a bit, but pure racing events, boxing matches, shooting competitions with prizes, achievements etc. would certainly be fun. I'm with you on that score. 8] I love the cars in 2077, as noted, and lots of people would enjoy more variety and flexibility with them...just look at the popularity of customization mods. [Actually, looking at the mod universe should clue CDPR into the things people want in the game]. Speaking of customization...how about even more choices in Character Creation? I don't care for the ones that turn V into something semi-human, or female V into a ultra-voluptuous thirst-trap, but a range of body types would be nice...it could all be made manageable by limiting the customization choices depending on body type. Also, new lifepaths? Something different from the Nomad/Street Kid/Corpo archetypes? 7] I like your idea for immersion/QOL stuff. It doesn't have to be big or complex, but it makes me unhappy that the first Jackie Welles cocktail at the Afterlife isn't presented more ceremoniously than it was. There are lots of drinking animations in the game [well, several] but the most obvious one just doesn't happen. Again, modders have shown the way on this one. 6] I mentioned my thoughts on the story of Orion, so yes, there could be a much more organic connection between all the side jobs and the main story. I don't want the protagonist of Orion to 'change/save the world' necessarily, but the disconnect in 2077 between side jobs and V's search for salvation [so to speak] is jarring and doesn't make much sense. 5] As mentioned, imagine changes in Night City that add districts, or change the old ones...a blend of the familiar and new/unfamiliar, full of shocks and surprises. [anybody who has visited a place they haven't seen for years will know that sensation...]. Dogtown showed us the way...nobody needs to think too hard about 'where did all that come from?'. Also interiors...in 2077 we had a few places to explore in megatowers, for eg. They could even be expanded...there have been mods that actually did expand H10, although it seems to have disappeared. I'd like to see more homes to rent around Night City too...maybe require regular payments so players don't go crazy buying them all [immersion, baby!] Constantly having to top up your cash supply to pay rent, repair vehicles, buy weapons and etc. would give a rationale for our protagonist to need to busy him/herself with side jobs along with the main story. 4] New gangs, and new enemies...love your ideas. The new look of Voodoo Boys in Dogtown was great fun...they seemed much weirder and more dangerous than the low-budget Pacifica crew. Lots of possibilities here. But it might also be fun for a protagonist to _ally_ themselves to a gang [V did this with the Aldecaldos, come to think of it] on a temporary basis at least...lots of story possibilities there. Also...new companions, maybe on an irregular basis. I hate how little we saw Ozob in 2077...imagine Ozob [or his twin brother who came to NS to hunt down the SOB that punched Ozob too hard in the nose] as a companion for a few side jobs. Or Tiny Mike? I thought for sure Tiny Mike was going to be V's new best choom in Phantom Liberty...CDPR went to so much trouble to weave him into the main game, and then...nothing. 3] I'll just agree with this 100%. Cyberspace as pictured in 2077 seems more like movies in 1977...it could have been far more sophisticated and interesting even just in how it looks. 2] I already mentioned my desire to see the 2077 story continued in one way or another. It seems insane to me that CDPR would just throw away such intriguing plots...but then they throw away a lot of wonderfully imagined characters [yes, I'm still cranky about Aurore...] so who knows? But the implications of the whole cyber-mind control plotline WAS HUGE...they even make a joke about dangling plot threads at the end of Prophet's song. They _have to_ continue this one...they just have to... 1] And finally....I mentioned that Orion will have the same kind of relationship with 2077 as 2077 2.0 has with Edgerunners. It's part of the history of the new game and will get some mention [a little more, I hope...just a jacket and a exchange with Falco hardly seems enough considering the action at the end of Edgerunners] but IMO it will be a new cast and crew, playing out a new story in Orion. Even Phantom Liberty was mostly a new layer on the original game, rather than an deeply connected part of the story. It makes all kinds of sense to me that Orion will build on the vision of Night City [of which we saw very little, in fact] shown in The Tower ending. [Sigh] and that's a wrap. I still feel that December 2019 is a very apt date for Cyberpunk Orion to arrive [whatever they call it....Cyberpunk 2079?] I can hardly wait to see it. Thinking beyond that? 2024 will mark the year I am seriously into old age, and I cannot assume I'll live to see it, just as some of my older friends didn't live to see the final Star Wars movies [possibly a blessing, really]. So I'll just live in hope and not think about that. Good talk as always, Tez...we're going to be doing a lot of this for the next few years, I suspect...
LOVE a riptide! And don't talk nonsense, you'll be here for the launch of Orion, I get what you're saying but my outlook on things is everything is going to be fine until it isn't, and when it isn't deal with it then, or in the case of shuffling off the mortal coil, you won't know about it anyway. So, I'll still be here going through a full mug of tea wading through your comments many years from now I should think! Having recently discovered Atherosclerosis in the blood vessels of my brain, I'm on that slippery slope now too, so fuck it. As for your list, thanks for taking so much time and thought over it, there's a lot to mull over there and I've taken notes, I'm keeping tabs on everyone's ideas, and seeing quite a few crop up repeatedly! I shall look forward to seeing what " ultra-voluptuous thirst-traps" you come up with lol!
"Cyberspace as pictured in 2077 seems more like movies in 1977" Why specificaly this date? Oh and I hope you will live play Orion when it will be released! I wish the best!
I think having some kind of faction reputation system would be interesting you held the right family maybe they get you out of jail Morton maybe they make your record disappear
Before my dream adds, I want to mention how awesome it is that many of the things you'd like to see are things that exist in the tabletop version of the game. Especially the various gangs. Everyone you mentioned is an established poser gang in lore... Yes, even the zombies. Some thanks to cyberware, some bioware, and some due to way too much recreational substance abuse. As for dream content... 1. V continues being our protagonist. There are pretty much any number of ways to make it happen with every ending. The trick is to depower you enough to make the game playable as a newbie again. "Face in the Crowd"? Easy, your body starts healing and you begin the slow process of replacing burnt 'wares. 'Cados ending? Thier contacts actually do have an idea. Clone you and remap your brain into the new body. Pretty much what the relic chip did in the first place, but already custom built for you. In anycase, it can be done well, narratively with just a touch of 'Suspention of Disbelief'. Mass Effect 2 did it well, after all. 2. I love NG+. It means I don't have to mod my game (well... one less mod). 3. Utilize the Job system and cross training more from the tabletop game. Maybe I want to lean in more to being a Nomad, and because of that, I can mod vehicles. Or being a Medic and get more performance out of my cyberware and better healing or higher availability or tolerance for bioware. What if it is V, and without Jonny, now I want to be a Rockerboy? CP2077 already shows examples of people who transisioned between jobs, why not let the protagonist do so as well? 4. Add Bioware enhancements. 5. While I wouldn't play co-op, I would love to see it, and/or, the ability to gather a crew to pull off jobs. Between my favorite parts of the game being the times we get to work with Jackie, and the thrilling success of Edgerunners, I think it's an opportunity for CDPR to see how they can flex with group dynamics. 6. Let us get to truly explore The 'Net. The quick hacking is great for the time period, but, let us actually have access to more than that. That's all I can think of off the top of my head, but, excitement keeps growing in me for what might be possible.
That's really awesome to hear, I guess it means I'm somewhat in-sync with Mike Pondsmith and his vision of Cyberpunk, I really need to get a hold of the sourcebook when I get a chance and look at those gangs and more. I love your list too, I would love it if 1 came true, but it would mean either a. one hell of a lot of work to make a game with linear paths that follow on from your ending of choice or b. some endings and choices get invalidated in the cut. I mean with the right budget they could make the game flow from all of the endings, and give those that chose the "quick way out" the chance to make a new character. A merc can dream! :D
@@StuGamePlus I don't think it has to be as difficult as you may think. COnsider... there's what? 6 or 7 different endings. This could be resolved in the first 60-90 minutes of gameplay. Where your V is, how they are getting back in the game. Heck, just jump it into the crucial pivot point that makes it happen. If you gave Jonny your body, it could be even more simple. 'Alt' learns of "something" bad happening, and splits you off from her consciousness to inhabit an unsuspecting gonk to deal with it. That even has the built in burden of do you return the body to it's owner or live again at the end? I guess the point is, we, as gamers, will buy into a good narrative, no matter how far fetched it might be, as long as it respects the story it is in homage to. Give us a reason to WANT to believe it, and for a great story, we will. Anyway, just my thoughts based on what I've learned from decades of running TTRPGs. Worth no more or less than anyone else's.
I’d love to see more counterplay to the best player builds. There were very few moments I couldn’t just default to quickhacking and trivializing the combat, I almost never touched my gun at all. I enjoyed that playstyle, but it got monotonous when the game rarely ever coaxed a different playstyle out through direct counterplay. I’d also like cyberpsycho/maxtech enemies to be regular encounters which ramp up the general difficulty. They had one mission where you get tracked by netwatch, but like, once you killed them it was over. A persistent set of hunters a-la bourne identity who ramp up their aggression until you deal with them would be neat.
That's a good point. You could become a combat-god in the game where nothing posed a threat in the endgame. This was made very obvious in somewhat damaged when they had to actively make your ability redundant just to force the jeopardy in an artificial way.
In terms of new gangs, in the ttrpg sourcebook they already have a gang of clowns called the Bozos with lore and everything. I think it could be a fairly easy integration into Orion
@@StuGamePluscontinuing watching the video, I’m pretty sure the animal implants are a thing in the sourcebooks as well, and a vampire faction would be so awesome to see. The vampire fang cybernetic (also in the source books) is by far my favorite that I’ve seen. It’d be sick to see that integrated as well
@@requiem3638 I'd love to see CDPR mine the sourcebooks for more ideas. The vampire facial cyberware is incredibly wicked and there were vampire gangs (and the Night's Edge sourcebook is about incorporating them)
Concerning the endgame, I think it would be cool to have our character meet a young Merc that we could mentor, and in the epilogue you would play as them. Kinda like John in RDR2
They need more activities to do like sitting places or sit at bars and drinking like you can in some situations and also it would be sick if you get random encounters on the train and stuff
I am, hey buddy great to hear from you! I hope I can brighten days for many years to come! I'm only into my 3rd week back now, so I'm still trying to find my feet again and wake up the algorithm with more of the content you missed!
Interesting video Tez, sometime soon I'd love to see some content from you about other games that you love and why. Yknow smth like "top 15 fave games of all time" or "favorite game I've played from every year since I was born" etc!
What I felt 2077 lacked really was a meaningful interplay between the corporations. Playing one side against the other and actually building a reputation with one. Some reactivity in regards to it. So that Nomads and anarchists talk negatively about your ties to Biotechnica or Kang Tao--leaving you options to reply that they're better than Arasaka. The only corp I felt attached/antagonistic too is Arasaka and it was a tad disappointing to me.
I’ve seen a lot of people finding ways for the pov character to still be V but honestly I don’t want to play as V again. It kind of goes against the whole theme of the game and of cyberpunk as a genre. The city chews you up and spits you out, the most you can hope for is to go out a legend, which V succeeded in. Plus it preserves whatever headcanon ending you prefer for 2077.
its not about keeping v alive, in 90% of their endings its open ended leaving you to interpret, theres alot of ties in their life that are left mysterious (the prophet, mr blue eyes, songbird, open endings). literally in path of glory the game ends mid mission and a LOT of people want to play or see what happens to them after, yes nc spits you out, but its literally stated v could be the first actual living breathing legend to survive night city, v's story has no closure or cannon ending at all. people want v's story to continue because its not actually even over, her whole story is left on a cliffhanger
As a resident of Atlanta, I DESPERATELY want to see more of Atlanta in this universe. Even just some lore or tidbits. I'm running a tabletop homebrew of Red in Atlanta, but I would love to learn more canon stuff.
My top 5 is 5. Rewarding Exploration and Quest starts through exploration. 4. Quests Based off leveling. 3. Longer story and over arching side quests 2. More interactive conversations, or more appropriately conversations even with random quests or the option to do things in quests based off of current status or jobs done 1. Ability to have status in areas have quests like skyrims quests allowing you to join guilds and stuff, aka gangs (which is not likely seeing how cdpr does things but it’s a nice thought) and tying these into the main story. This can be also done by just having more side quests tie into the main story. Bonus. Making our decisions more impactful. The key to making this a generational game is immersion!
I adored Cyberpunk 2077 on launch, it was my first ever preorder and I still remember seeing the OG trailer as a kid. I played it on PS4, and while I was disappointed by not getting the life sim I thought I was getting (very much bought into the hype), I thoroughly enjoyed everything it offered. Mildly amusing anecdote: When I first walked into Night City I remember being amazed- wow the attention to detail, they even have twins as NPCs, till I realised I was looking at the same models over and over again. I’d love randomised NPC appearance in the next one.
I think it would be really cool if the endings of the game that you can do now become the beginnings of the game that you can choose from and you can choose which ending of the game you left off on and start the game with that but eventually, they will all lead to the same story just like cyberpunk did with the life paths
Great video. Very cool 'wanted things' listed here. I would want 2-4 payer story coop. Approaching missions and gigs with a balanced party with different loadouts and cyber builds would be so cool. A hub area like a huge market or red light district where hundreds of players can meet up and non-lethally interact. I'm dreaming, lol.
I would love: - More Third person cutscenes - An optional third person camera - Body sliders for character creation - NG+ - More Parkour options (similar to what they originally showcased in the trailers) - New locations - Multiplayer - MORE ROMANCE OPTIONS
I loved a lot of the ideas in this video. but my ideas for the next game would be: - a humanity system. Eg Makes you think about your actions more, as they now have consequences. Also would mean you could go cyber psycho. - A focus on vertical exploration rather than horizontal. Eg can enter more interiors. - dual wielding in combat. E, g, so you can do stuff like the cyber psycho from the start of eage rnners. Generally, I would also just like to see a bigger focus on role play and Immersion. Love this video. It's like you read my mind. Hope to see more.
Nice Video! Cool ideas. I would like to see more immersive gangplay? Like joining a gang or falling out with one that hunts you when they see you or when you go on their turf. Better damagemodels for vehicles`? So they get destroyed when you have a head on collision at 100 km/h and you get dmg too for example. The choices we make should have more impact on the world and they should branch out more. That was one of the biggest let downs in 77 imo. More immersive stuff from the beginning, like real food to eat, drugs to take, cigs to smoke. Going dancing maybe? All that fun stuff that modders give us. Speaking of wich... the game should be easy to mod for longgevity (is that the right word?). Better AI for npc´s, espiacially cops and gangers. Thats all for now...
I love how you're suggestions include exotics (people who have bio-sculpting to look like animals) and cyber "vampires". They are already a thing in the table-top RPG the game is based off so totally could be a thing in the next game, if CDPR wanna go down that route. I fully expect the next game will be set in Night City, with the 5th Corporate War looming as tensions between Arasaka, Millitech,. Night Corp, and the NUSA threaten to engulf the city.
I haven't watched the full video yet, so I apologize if I comment on an idea that was covered in it. My main want for Cyberpunk: Orion is a perk on the Intelligence attribute tree that is called something like "Collector" or "Surgeon". Once this perk is unlocked, it would allow the main character to harvest (Damaged) augmentations that a fallen villain had installed. Then, the player would be able to take the tech to either a Ripperdoc or maybe even a special new NPC called a "Greaser" who specializes in repairing & formatting tech that wasn't made for the person who owns it currently. This would allow CDPR to add even more augmentations that are pretty much a one-off in the city & would give the player something to do when bored & not wanting to continue the main story... maybe you've heard through someone at a bar that there is a member of the Tyger Claws who owns a very rare, military-grade Kerenzikov (that is not available through any Ripperdoc or spawn). You could then use the main character's contacts/street smarts & abilities to locate the member & swiftly remove him from the earth & liberate his tech. I would honestly really enjoy hunting down certain pieces that can help create awesome end-game builds. My only other idea is I hope that there is the ability to do some work for Biotechnica & receive some of those implants that Max Mike speaks about in Romania that made the humans wolf-like... I believe there are already subtle nods to that already existing in Cyberpunk: 2077 because Panam's clan's leader Saul really wants to work with that company & I believe he is doing deals on the side already... It just so happens that within her clan is a group of members who refer to themselves as "The Lobos".. spanish for Wolf.
I just finished reading the new source book Tales of the RED hope reborn and in that, they have rules for bases for your edge runner crew. It made me want to be able to have a customable crew and customised base to operate out of.
I like most of the things from your list, so the only things I'd like to add would be: - More pace control. I felt pushed by most quests without a room to decide when to move it forward myself. Doing side quests or simply strolling around almost always required breaking natural flow of events (infamous "Hanako at Embers" could simply be "call/text/whatever to arrange a meeting" etc.) - I missed those 3rd person view inserts like they showed in one of pre-release demos (elevator in scavs hideout).
-be able to name my save files if I have different play styles. -more gang activity overall to give the player something to do in the later part of the game.
- More choices and consequences like with Mass Effect with decisions having repercussions both positive and negative that can impact game play and the story; especially if any sequels are made. - More character customization options especially in the cyberware/cybernetics department that can change the characters appearance, like cybernetic arms or legs that look more mechanical than like a natural limb or the Sandevistan system in place where the spine usually is and have a Transmog Customization system for cyberware similar to the wardrobe Transmog. - Cut scenes that show the characters we create, or a third person perspective option. - Prior history for character that can effect the game. Example: A character who is a streetkid could occasionally cross paths with Inspector Stints at the worst possible moments. - Ability to create more game play characters instead of deleting current character to make a new one and new story. - New Game Plus option
I think I understand how you feel about NG+, but for a lot of players, it's the power fantasy of it all. It's the same reason that some people run their subsequent playthroughs with mods or cheats. "I beat it legit, now I want to go through it like a plague and faceroll it for fun." That kind of thing. Just my two cents.
In the order I think of them 1. More interaction, with the world around us, citizens, shops, market stands, vedors right down to the net. A full mega tower would be nice 2. More role play, let me join and side with gangs, form a relationship with a ripper, party with friends. 3. No time critical main plot. Made a lot of the side quests seem silly when V is apparently on limited time. 4. Have the characters lifepath be really reflected in the game. Certain people wont work with you at all if you were a Nomad or Corpo, Street kid gets picked up by cops for anything. 5. More Lifepaths and more customisable lifepaths. Nomad whose whole Clan is dead, Nomad who was kicked out, Nomad captured by Raffen who escaped. 6. Generative missions, I know I know, but small things like find a person, hack a car/house/business to make the start of the game feel more small time would be interesting and make the game more replayable. 7. Customisation, always want more, clothes, cars, apartments, furniture. The more I can reflect my role play character in their things the more immersive it is. 8. There are a lot of gangs from the tabletop game that didn't make the 2077 cut, bring them in or hints at what happened to them. 9. Brain dances, give me the braindances, tie it into the generative missions... find a fucked up braindance, investigate stop the operation, let me watch the dumb action movie braindances I see advertised. 10. More friends/romance options/fixers/joytoys... not all static moving about so they feel more alive. Imagine driving down the street and seeing Judy at a Vendor. stop, pick her up drive her home. world feels a little more real.
Some of my Wishlist agrees with yours: #1 more fully interactive food and drink vendors (and bar tenders, obviously), #2 More mini-games (like Pachinko, Roulette, Billiards etc), #3 Interactive Gyms and Shooting Ranges where you can gain very small increases in your various applicable skills (like Shinobi, Solo & Head-hunter) via appropriate activities, #4 more buildings you can enter and fully explore, #5 more NCPD gigs that only become visible when you get near to their spawn location, #6 Faction Reputation (Gangs, Clans, Corps, Police and Fixers), it should be near impossible to get max reputation with any one faction without pissing off another, #7....but actually the one I want most....is a "Dialogue" system more akin to traditional roleplaying games-like BG3, FO:NV and The Outer Worlds, that can lead to entirely divergent outcomes during conversations, #8 More opportunities for our Attributes, Lifepath choices and Faction Reputation to come into play during Missions and Gigs, #9 Making Lifepaths even more important throughout the game-from bonus points to 1 or 2 Attribute Scores, and a bonus starting perk, during character creation, a much longer Lifepath specific prologue, bonuses to starting Faction Reputations, multiple Lifepath specific Missions/Gigs that you have to go looking for, and maybe even 1 or 2 perks/skills that are unique to your Lifepath, #10 More Cosmetic-only Cyberware options, and more unusual Cyberware Upgrades-like Wolvers, Scratchers and Fangs.
My list of hopeful additions for Orion: 1. Reworked Skill Tree - As much as I love the new revamped system introduced with PL, I feel like it took some things I loved and did away with them. The Technical Tree is pretty much useless now to me - except for cyberware - when it comes to crafting. I feel like there could be a good balance between what was there from the beginning and what is now available. 2. Camera Switch - I love FPP games, but I do believe CDPR missed the mark when they didn't include a 3rd Person view in the open world aside from driving. At the very least, if they have the option to do dialogue sequences in 3rd person, that would be a huge step up. We all want to see our Frankenstein monster's in crazy drip interact with serious NPCs in dire conversations! 3. More Mini Games - You have the right idea. I love the idea of doing small side things that can keep our attention in between gigs and story missions, regardless if they gain us anything. Racing, underground fight clubs, gambling, hell even futuristic sports. Give us the option to be couriers for people and have to fight off gangsters trying to steal our goods. Let us take a small gig for a corpo to stalk a potential insider and see what they do while staying in the shadows. The more the variety, the better the time spent! 4. More Varied Gigs - After playing CP2077 for the 10th time now, I know the gigs like the back of my hand. Regardless if we get similar ones in the sequel, I would love to see more varied approaches to complete them. For instance, in the Gig: Last Login, if you take the time to read a certain email, you can confront the ripper doctor upstairs and you can either end him or he'll give you a permanent discount on all cyberware. Small side quests that have multiple options to complete them or hidden info that you have to find on your own that can change the outcome entirely are terrific and promote multiple playthroughs. 5. Gang Affinites - I do like the approach that we have no allegiances in Night City, except to Fixers I guess, and that allows us to work with autonomy. I wouldn't mind seeing a similar system for gangs in Orion that was shown off in Fallout: New Vegas. If you become more hostile with a gang, it will promote them to attack you on site and give you the chance for more random encounters with them - but the plus side is that a rival gang will see you as an ally and could help out. Need to klep some stuff from a gang you like? Maybe, with enough affinity with them, you just have to pass a Speech check and they'll part with it no problem. 6. Better Romance - I'm sorry but I'm not a fan of the romance options in CP2077. I will ride or die for Panam and Judy only as I think their characters are the most interesting or developed, but having so few options for your PC feels limited. I prefer romance options to be pansexual, so all that is required is for you to build a relationship with them - do quests, spend time together, engage in conversation outside of story beats, etc - then decide if you wish to pursue them when they show interest. Also, I really hope CDPR doesn't follow what Larian did with BG3 and that they make it very apparent which dialogue options you choose are you actually flirting with companions. Color code the text, give us a small box that says [Flirt], whatever! I can't describe how awkward it feels to shut down a companion when they believed I was interested in them and all I was trying to do was be a good friend - sorry River. 7. More Modular Weapons - I hate that CDPR took so much of the modular aspect of weapons away with the 2.0 update and has made crafting feel pointless. Now you can't change out mods, you can't add certain mods to certain weapons, and you can't craft more than one Iconic Weapon so you can keep one for yourself and one for your awesome Stash wall. This is an alternate future with crazy weapon systems, let us get crazy with them! I also think there needs to be a distinct difference between mods - things that alter the internal mechanics of weapons - and attachments - things that alter the external mechanics. Let us change out scopes, magazines, muzzles, laser sights, etc. on the fly no problem. Mods could be required to visit a gunsmith to change them out, or if you have enough Tech knowledge, you can do it yourself. Please give us more control on how we choose to sow chaos. 8. NG+ - Honestly, I don't feel sad that there isn't one for CP2077, but that doesn't mean the next game shouldn't have it. In terms of the story it makes sense, but why should the sequel's follow that same route? Sure we could be max level on a new playthrough, but that give us the opportunity to find better stuff to help out as the difficulty will be harder by default. The door you opened last time only had a Body Check of 10, well now it's 30 - better go grab some better Gorilla Arms. Oh, I used to be able to take out a whole group of gang-goons with one Contagion, but now only one guy gets hit for less than half damage - better find that suped up cyberdeck! 9. Better Enemy Tactics - I feel like that gangs and corpos we fight need to have more variety in how they engage us - like there needs to be pros and cons with fighting them. The Maelstrom are all about crazy cyberware, so why do we not see them use it more often? The Voodoo Boys love to use cyberspace to take out threats, so it should be harder for us to hack them and requires us to use other means. If we take a gig and we know who we'll be dealing with, it gives us the agency to really plan out our tactics and approach so the job will go by much smoother and gives us a feeling of being a professional merc doing their job. 10. More Customization Options - This is a nitpick, but I would love the option to personalize my stuff to a greater degree. There are so many different varieties of weapons, cars, clothes, etc. and it feels wrong that we don't have any say on what we can and can't have in terms of pure aesthetics. I love this new gun I got but I hate it's gang related scheme; I dig this new ride I purchased but it only comes in this weird green color. The Transmog system did wonders for CP2077 but it really needs to be expanded out to almost all aspects of our character. Let us truly tailor our look and feel for our PC, down to the attachments we use on our favorite gun or the ridiculous spoiler on that Quadra we bought at full price.
Great point about the tech tree and how it and crafting really got forgotten, it really needs proper viability or removal. Like being able to craft drones or turrets, heavily linking it back to being a grease monkey. All in all a very comprehensive list, thank you for sharing, I'll add your ideas to the spreadsheet!
I have a big wish list . 1. Flying cars (yes there is a mod but I want it IN GAME). 2. Career Paths I would like to see an Option to choose a Corp or Job that goes with the game (Become a Bladerunner like the movie as an example) 3. Interactive NPC's Ill explain.(World of Warcraft has come up with a new combat style where you get NPC's to help you on jobs) so think of it as a Crew you can Hire to help you on a Mission rather than being Solo the whole game. 4. Interactions with Legendary Characters like Blackhand and Spider Murphy even if its only a 1 mission gig , I think it would still be cool to interact with Legends. 5. For the Netrunners I would like to see a sort of Tron interactions , like they did in Edgerunners where they WENT INTO the System (like you did with the voodoo boys scene down in the church, Go Into Cyberspace and do something). Lastly I agree with the video the animalistic characters where people can make themselves look like animals is a great idea its part of the Lore and you can make a crap ton of gangs from it.
Lots of opportunity in Braindances for new fast content, you could be a player in them and imagine of you had these missions within them like one where you play a spy and another where you are an investigator. Think Total recall.
Game's opening level could be the Crystal Palace Heist as V, but it ends with the twist that you were just watching a Braindance of the event (like the opening of Edgerunners) and aren't actually V
A casino, optional mini-games and optional side content you can spend hours doing. Example: Buy, sell, upgrade and maintain properties around the city. Do tenant related side-quest.
Can i suggest you read the TTRPG supporting materials, because a lot of what you suggested is there- yea there is/was a Clown Gang "The Bozos", and there are also "anamorphic" gangs based on transhumans you go into already. If Mike Pondsmith is still involved then the "core" canon will have a chance of such thing included. If i was to have a wish to add, its a multiplater option where you can run as a edgerunner team with more roles than either "Solo" or "combat netrunner", maybe add "Nomad" and "Tech" could be added in and the abilities we have in a single character then become specialised roles so that background start has more "impact"- note i dont mean you are stuck permanently but you have to use levelup points(xp) to add the ability to take skill trees from other classes
Some theings i'd like - Gang rep, like being friendly with the valentinos, but the claws hate you, and corp rep -Drive bys by enemy gangs -Territory, turf wars, and shifting territory based on the player's actions -A DOG -Better Ai for pedestrians or al least more of them
Would be cool to see V come back as a fixer, or maybe we find out he is a sleeper agent for the NUSA.. which means all his cyberware can be reactivated he goes out to gank someone and when it gets deactivated again he has no memory of it. lol
@@StuGamePlusthis is actually a massive theory that’s been going around - if V does the NUSA ending they haven’t actually been I a coma but used by NUSA to do black ops then black V out so they have no memory of it
I’d like to see a city set in the NUSA. Since most of the endings involve you crippling Arasaka it would be cool to have them more in the background as opposed to the main antagonist role they have in the main quest of 2077. Also would love to have Refused return as Samurai for new tracks.
I really want the role paying expect to built on. So more origin options with sub levels in those options, such as yes, your a corpo, but then you get to choose your corporation. Your outfit in your clothes but also your cyberware aesthetic can be customised and then your car too. How you look is a big part of the cyberpunk lore.
1. Better character customization including better variety of cybernetics. The lore of Cyberpunk mentions bioware that are biological enhancements, bio sculpting which includes animal like enhancements, chipware that temporarily augments lower level skills, even the ability to go full borg. 2. Character origins and “classes” having a narrative purpose. If you are a nomad, then you should have more than a few dialogue options about being a nomad, you should know A LOT about all sorts of vehicles and the Badlands and this gives you more options in-game regarding the modification of vehicles, knowledge of other clans, and the badlands. 3. An overhaul of the reputation system. Depending on how you complete missions, Fixers might be hesitant to give out gigs to you if you mess up optional objectives or alternatively, you cannot access other fixers without having a decent rep with others. 4. Origins having a dedicated prologue beyond a few minutes of gameplay. 5. More activities in the down time between gigs. Racing. Gun Range competitions. Gambling. Hanging out with npcs to learn more about them. 6. Being able to use connections to characters in more interesting ways. For example, in Phantom Liberty, you can help two members of Barghest, but you can do it in a couple of ways, you can call Panam and arrange for them to be smuggled, you can call River to get info on stolen merch, etc. If we have a gig that can be accomplished in other ways, we should be able to use our rep and relationship to do those things sometimes. 7. Narrative and in game reactions to our character’s reputation. Just a few dialogue mentions here and there if we have super high reputation, like in the side mission where some punks are scared off by V simply because they have heard about them. 8. Stats being more relevant to dialogue and opening up paths we may not have used due to not having high points. As is, they don’t really matter in dialogue and things proceed normally.
I think more interactions with gangs would be great. Whether it be a reputation system or just a way to do jobs for gangs, actually choose to align with one, or something else, it would be great to flesh out the gangs as more than just bad guys to kill. And whatever our interactions are with gangs should have a dynamic effect on the game world. Perhaps this could also lead to a fall blown gang war mini quest. I think the same sort of thing could be extended to corps, the NCPD and Trauma
A stress mechanic might be a good idea. Basically your character builds mental stress from fighting, killing and using cyberware, the stress gives you stat debuffs and runs the risk of cyberpsychosis however you can reduce stress by partaking in social activities and resting which would give a good reason for the player to hang out with their chops and not just jump between gigs to maximise cash flow and possibly reduce the tedium of doing those gigs and missions back to back since you might have to stop off at a bar for a pint and a chat with a friend to keep your stress in check between missions.
I'd love to be able to form a crew of Edgerunners to do jobs. Go out into the city, meet other mercs, call them for heists, etc. Who knows who you'll run into.
Let's see if i can do ten 10. Custom the size of the character. Can be a simple skinny, average, or muscular build to go with the stats and role-play feel. 9. I know this one may not be realistically achievable, but 2 or 3 different voice options. Let's just say it feels odd to have a character with a skin tone, but sounds like they should've had a different one. 8. A more detailed way to customize your vehicles and garage that shows them off like the weapon wall. 7. Missions that can affect gangs. Picking certain options during gigs could cause gangs to turn against each other, maybe even have two wipe out the third. Bring a little chaos into the picture. 6. Just something else for role play, but to be able save more outfit combinations so you don't lose one you love while trying to make new ones. 5. This could be leading into another corpo war. Just like the gangs, you can cause corpo chaos by causing them to team up against each other. While doing so certain corporations give certain perks or items if you choose to help them. 4. Most definitely add the moon and missions there. 3. I like the idea of being a new person that hears stories about V and some of V's adventures. 2. More interactions with the chosen romance...or romances 😉. After awhile "Stay at my House" becomes extremely redundant. Go for a drive, mini gig, restaurant, or get chased by a rival gang/corp. 1. The ability to form a crew. Definitely a NPC crew that you meet from your life path and from doing gigs and random run intos. An online option would also be interesting. And not for just one or two gigs. Depending on your bulid it changes the crew slots that need to be filled. Maybe certain fixers won't give you certain gigs based on your crews rep or they give you a gig because you have a crew member that they like. Could also be the key to having reoccurring gigs post game completion. Could even throw in the option for crew colors and symbols. How'd I do? 🤔
3rd person and character customization in terms of cybernetics. Those mods that change your hands are amazing let alone allowing you to become fully cybernetic.
I Would love to see NPC routines for main npcs. Like you can find them in other places around night city more often not just in own apartment. Followers would be nice too
Would love to be a solider on one side or the corporate wars or something, Zack Fair from Crisis Core was cool as hell and it was fun to learn more about the messed up world and overarching story etc
I wouldnt mind if Cyberpunk 2 played in Night City again IF they added all cut locations and made every single house in Night City enterable (is that a word??).
What I want -Factions to join and their respective quests/consequences -A silent protag or at least have more than 2 voice options -Background having more value not just some dialog selection. More so you can't join certain factions or have more scrutiny when doing stuff outside of your background. -I know this thing is hated in the community but a third person mode wouldn't hurt.
Things I want from Orion: -A completely different storyline separate from V -V To appear in the story in some way, but be a minor reference or cameo. - Real car customization (we got so close in the end, some of the drop points for El Capitan look like custom shops) - More vehicle variety (more completely different base vehicles instead of variants, specifically motorcycles) - Weapon appearance and functionality customization. (Gunsmith) - More cyberware functionality and appearance on character - Character customization that changes body type and shape I'll leave the rest to them. Cyberpunk 2077 is awesome and gave me so many things I didn't know I wanted.
@@StuGamePlus You're good.😂 Better driving physics would be another one, but that is very difficult to get correct. Even most racing games don't get it right.
All of what you said, but above all, my personal number 1 is heavily leaning into cyberware, especially the ability to do a full body conversion and turn into something like adam smasher/Lizzy wizzy/ So Mi
@@StuGamePlus I don't think they can do animations for all of the implants, since there's a lot of implants, but they should at least do it for the major operations and parts.
I certainly think one thing we should get in the next game is a lot more character customization options including the ability to have full Bioscult or Borg conversions for the character and customization for those. It's already fully canon and they can just cook on it with ideas in their free time between major features.
I want to see a more in-depth net running gameplay. Like the option to tackle a locations security ahead of time remotely. It’s the net and can be visualized in pretty much any way by the runner. Imagine if the net runner had to fight through segments with gameplay similar to Control with various powers where we have to fight bosses at the end to defeat more powerful ICE and gain control of the subnet. Doing that preliminary prep work could then make the infiltration of the mission easier. Also, more cosmetic cyberware options. Give us beefy looking metallic arms. Let us have serious netrunner jacks similar to songbird. Let us use eye mods like the maelstrom. Give us a 6 fingered ripper doc arm. There is so much cool cyberwear out there that we can’t use as V. I also want to see the Poser gang make a bigger appearance. They exist in the table top game. We only saw a single poser that I am aware of in Vs journey. (The dead Jonny Silverhand)
Orion Pictures! EVERY SINGLE TIME! Me too. I watched A trailer for RoboCop the other night, and when I saw it it made me think of Cyberpunk 2077 lol EDIT: Also I LOVED Chuck, the one with Zach Levy (sp?)
Surprised you didn't mention 3rd person since you showed it quite a bit. Some of my most wanted things: 1) Pick your backstory based on how you thought CP2077 ended. 2) Flying cars! 3) Like you said, a better cyberspace would be nice 4) More interactive NPC's (besides just one or two lines of dialogue) 5) The whole game Phantom Liberty quality or better.
Other than riding a bike and driving cars I'm happy enough with First person view. Will be interesting to see if they implement it in Orion though. Thanks for the list, I'll add them to the spreadsheet!
I’m of the mind thst joining/ starting a gang might be interesting. Or maybe a rep system with the gangs. Get high enough rep with say the voodoo boys, you can get some of their running gear, or maelstrom and get some combat chrome.
CARS, what i would love is more of the burnout paradise mechanics for cars. Random events but Cyberpsychos just randomly showing up and us having to chase them down and crash their cars and rewarded by unlocking them. Multiplayer races, maybe have areas we control hiring our own people to join your gang and protect your holdout.
- vehicle customization - random encounters (ideally with NPCs calling out to you/ weird events that you want to investigate) - more romance options and more interactions after the romance - body customization (height, weight, muscle, body hair and cyber wear) - less cringe sex scenes - better driving - option to clean up the hud, especially during exploration - better stealth options - more cut scenes (I want to see my V sometimes)
the Animals already do genetically modify themselves with animal DNA. and its in the game. theres a NCPD huscle where you can come across an Animal gang leader with scales on his skin. he also wears a big belt like a pro wrestler. pretty sure its a reference to Killer Croc from batman, but yeah thats already in the game. i would like to see more of that tho. as for new gangs i doubt they will use any gangs that aren't coming directly from the source books. but there is a gang called the Bozos that is pretty much you wanted there so you may get what you want.
@@StuGamePlus yeah, i didn't notice it on my first play through. its pretty easy to just burn through a lot of the ncpd huscles without ever paying much attention to who you're fighting. from what i recall after reading a shard he held. the Animals were operating a drug lab and this guy was running the operation. he's also quite large, like if you look for him i'm sure you'll find him.
A much larger badlands with small communities. Two main cities. One which is a corpo enclave. No legal way in for those not in the club. But hidden routes for smuggling that can be exploited. No driving in the corpo city. Just trains and auto cabs. The second city being utterly run down and short on resources. Flying cars and jet packs. A deeper faction system. More choice in character development and work. A more realistic NPC system, with more sophisticated police and random spawned missions. Subtle strategy options Disguises and such.
I'd like them to go back to the original plans for life paths - they were a bit more fleshed out and in depth than the three more or less generic ones we wound up getting. MORGAN MOFOIN' BLACKHAND, 'nuff said there. Improvements to the driving/car combat system. More cyberpsychos - and not necessarily as quests or side quests, but just roaming around the world, so random encounter style. More diversity in gangs/cults. More romance options that weren't stuck on "straight or gay". Like...it's 2077 and beyond, and they even allow you to play as a trans character, why not allow your romance options to be even more varied? I enjoyed the "mystery" elements of Phantom Liberty, so I'd like to see more of that.
I agree on the car customization stuff. Also - word on the street (as the kids say) is that Orion will feature the 5th Corporate War, so you may get your wish there. Also - canonically, there are clown gangs in Cyberpunk, so the inclusion of one or more is certainly doable, at least from a lore perspective.
- super ambitious but multiplayer and co-op. Take a page from GTA’s book and create a multiplayer system even if it’s separate from the story. Create your own merc. Form a crew with other players. With new missions and content updates. I want to keep playing and exploring the world with friends. 3rd person cutscenes - More romance options - For life paths to matter - would love to continue as V but with the multiple endings that’s difficult. - in-depth sliders in character customization
I know this would be minor, but it would be so cool to be able to steal one of those Maxtac flying vehicles that appear to drop Maxtac cops when you get max wanted level, or even one of the flying vehicles that trauma team use.
One of the things I hope for but don't expect, understandably is better driving physics for cars _and_ better steering animations + manual gear shifting animations. The gear shifting animations for cars that are clearly manual like they have a visible gear shifter in 1st person etc because so many of the car interiors look amazing but the steering animations are not so great. This would add to immersion ten fold especially with mod cars added later on.
10 Wall jumping, i was really impressed with the movement of this game specially when you get the double jump and air dash and i think jumping off walls will greatly add to our on foot navigation also we need a way to take less fall damage, Reed fell from a great height and survived in the subway PL trailer so in universe it's possible. 9 save ports i really perfer DFTR / temprance and would feel cheated having my ending be non cannon and also would love to see returning characters and having different outcomes based on our choices . 8 New MC 7 NG+ 6 more cyberware and skills the shit we got in 2077 was good but i think it can be expanded upon to make more diverse gameplay 5 more immersive sim elements , 2077 flirts with immersive sim elements and they're good but I'd like more options in stealth more ways to navigate missions and gigs akin to the Deus ex games , 2077 has some of these things in the gigs more than the main missions but i think if expanded upon could make for more deep gameplay while discovering new shit everytime we play . 4 More exploarable interiors , if NC comes back i would like to explore more of what goes on in the buildings and maybe the sewer system aswell , something like deus ex mankind divided where we could break into people's homes and read their emails steal their shit maybe find a secret compartment in their house or codes to a safe somewhere or something that will be useful later on for example we find in an apartment a millitich employee ID and it makes a later mission easier 3 more costimization, the options we got where very limited in 2077 and would like to see more costimization to the body of our MC , their cyberware and their clothing options and also be able to save presets and maybe share them with other people. 2 more consequences for dialogue there was some in 2077 but i think we need more like we can treat Panam like shit tell her we only help her for money and it doesn't change shit , maybe have some characters treat you like shit because you treated them badly or if you fucked up somehow or they end up betraying you because of your actions. An idea I've had for awhile is what if we were able to side with Saul bu ratting on Panam and getting a different aldecaldo ending where Panam dies 1 doing more with street cred , in 2077 it got us some benefits like getting discounts on cars and being recognized as a threat in some missions , i would like more of that and it affecting some outcomes in main missions and also being able to haggle fixers for better pay based on street cred like the witcher contracts in the witcher3
I'd like to see more with Cyberspace too, though I kinda like how inscrutible Animal like people are, in the setting, called "exotics" and are canon (but have fallen out of fashion by 2077, which is their excuse for not showing us any). Exotics include both mostly human nekomimi type, and full on furry. Despite being unfashionable I'd still expect to see them occasionally and a little club or bar for them for would be fun. (Or a gang made up exclusively of exotics.) I know some folks hate the HUD, and that's fair, but my approach would be keep a HUD but make it more diagetic than it currently is. The corpo intro gives us just a little taste of what that'd be like -- hacks could do more than just disable your cyberware, they could make it lie to you. I'd really like there to be a third person option. As much as I like first person, it's a deal breaker for some players (due to motion sickness or preference.) Also, it'd make the fashion game mean something more than "look at my cool outfit only when I'm a bike or in photomode". Speaking of fashion, it'd be nice to see some gameplay effect (but not 1.x's "let's throw random stats on clothing items approach.) The few items with stats in 2.x seem appropriate. I'd focus more on -- are you wearing expensive clothing? Poor clothing? Have that impact where you can go and who will talk to you. Go out in a poor part of town in rich clothes, you may get jumped. Try to get into a fancy hotel in poor clothing, they won't let you in. Try to go to a club without dressing for the club? Bounce keeps you out. Wear gang colors? You're more likely to get attacked by their enemies (and will get attacked by -them- if they realize you aren't actually a member.) Basically... do -something- with clothing beyond occasionally looking in mirrors. I'd like to see scooters and more motorcycles on the road -- think: Bankok where scooters swarm around the cars on the main roads (and line up in front of the cars at every light). (Structrually I feel Bankok has a lot in common with Night City -- the overlapping highways, the massive billboards high up on the sky scrapers advertising million dollar condos, where down at ground level is extreme poverty. The massive highway system that towers over the main roads that only has minimal exits in the places most people can live. Video billboards literally playing movie trailers. etc etc I'd like to be able to join a gang, with different entrance requirements. (Not as a leader, just as an affiliated merc.) This'd be an obvious place to integrate repeatable activities and smaller gigs, with different activities depending on the gang. More immersive sim elements! A lot of what can be called "roleplaying-centric features" can be used as a part of larger immersive sim gameplay. 2077 often straddles the line without fully committing. This means giving players more capabilities that impact the world at the extremely local level -- dragging objects around, making more glass breakable, etc, etc. Gigs involving scrolling BDs, sending you to do progressively more ridiculous stunts as your fame grows. (I guess this'd be a LIna Molina simulator. =p) I do not want "reaver" type baddies -- they basically just fast-zombies and I'm just so bored of zombies. Games need to find something novel for friggin once. The step down from that is... already in the game, in the form of Scavs and Maelstrom, who are both terrifying in different ways. I think a "heroes journey" or savior narrative do not fit cyberpunk (small c) storytelling. Winning in a cyberpunk world just means you get to live another day. Protagonists are often caught up in world changing events, but incidentally, while chasing their own goals. To embrace the genre is to have your main character as ultimately unimportant, finding community or scratching out survival on the margins. The story, if told by our main character, should be personal, even if bigger things happen around them. I think Cyberpunk 2077 handled this reasonably well. Settting-wise, I'd prefer a single very deep city than a bunch of shallower cities around the world. But some missions that send you to isolated portions of larger cities seems plausible (where you can see the larger city around you, but are limited in where you can go. While I do like Night City a lot, I can also see why they might want to move to a new city, just for the novelty. Somewhere in the sprawl would be neat (where the city extends for hundreds of miles.) That said, Orion will be in a new engine so even if it's Night City again, it won't feel the same. And... apparently I wrote an essay... oops? XD
1. multiplayer 2. Bigger and more branched story 3. More connections to gangs and copos 4. Car mods 5. More options into char. creation (Horns, metal limbs, better hair, more chrome weapons (with better animations))
A few things I'd like to see in Orion: - Better weapons They should be smooth and tactile like in CoD MWII or Ready or Not. -Better movement Pretty much the same thing. It should feel like you're running or walking, not like floating around with some camera shaking. Also they should add more features to parkour like in Dying Light for example. -More context/interaction animations -Enhanced vehicles In terms of types, physics and customization. Edit: in addition I'd love to see more Cyberpunk 2020 lore related correlations and stuff, I think it was criminally underused in 2077
Here's a thought that's came to mind as I watched your video. Lets say you take out an enemy by shooting or slicing off limbs, or crashing a car into them so badly that they need replacement limbs or eyes or whatever installed. Assuming they survive whatever you did to them, why not have them comeback post repairs now a bit stronger from the new parts, maybe even pissed off because you hacked off a real limb/s and they never wanted to be chromed out but now had no choice. Might be a bit like the Nemisis system from "Shadow Of Mordor."
EDIT: YOUR TOP 20 IS LIVE ua-cam.com/video/aoAHYKEU_oc/v-deo.html
For those of you who really know me know my real top 10 is just more Meredith Stout x 10...
P A N A M !
😅
And a Bad Dragon version of Sir John? lol
More Mommy Meredith! All the Meredith.
Hahahaha 😂
My one major regret from the PL expansion.
I’d love to see
- Less hud, more diagetic/in-world screens.
- more focus on role-playing centric features
- slower pace of in-game time/event triggers to make space for more free play
- less auto-resetting controls like camera angle, radio toggle, bike wheel lights, etc.
- less static locations for gang fights, more dynamic crime
- a tad more story branches that still join up with the same plot points but change the context/meaning of those subsequent plot points.
I think the pacing of Phantom Liberty should be the basis for the next game, where there's an occasional lull between major plot events that encourage you to do the side content
I'm sorry, you want more screens?? Is Night City not enough of a cyberpunk, dystopian, capitalist hell for you? You want to make it worse? 😂
@@HeadCannon loyalty system bound to Gangs, Corpos, Crews, and Fixers is an absolutely brilliant idea. The dynamic city would also be awesome
-MORE ROMANCE OPTIONS
-BETTER CONSEQUENCE SYSTEM
-MANSIONS!!!
-LET US CONTINUE AS V
Yes, and for Christmas, we shall save up for a new caps-lock key for you my friend! :D Added mansions to the list
@@guapempire1862 And you mean to continue gameplay even after ending? That’s the way GTA works
Will be cool
I'd love to see:
- FPS combat / 3rd person camera options (for running, inspection etc.)
- even more combat variety (obv. no Relic, but other crazy endgame options to get a even fancier combat experience than in CP2077 / KEEP THE GORE)
- integration of aerial-combat (some kind of jetpack integration; maybe mid-endgame / f.e. mini-bosses that also use aerial-combat)
- a more dynamic open-world with options to interact with NPCs, do activities etc. / more romance and relationship-options etc.
- more enemy-variety + more challenging fights (actual miniboss fights within the open-world like the Cyberpsychos, but with more variety and heavier difficulty)
- 100% individualisation of Cyberware with more options (f.e. 2 different arms, legs / feet / arms / hands etc. should offer unique options to combine)
- visual Cyberware with the option to design (f.e. Arasaka arms look different than Militech arms, you can colorize it all and build your own fully body conversion until the endgame)
- more options to own and design your own home (buy houses / apartments and design them)
- more options with vehicles / AVs (design and customize vehicles, use your own AI controlled AV as a Taxi)
- no pre-made backgrounds but heavy impact of your actions on the story and on other characters
- story integrated NG+ (after the story you can stay in the city and keep your houses / apartments etc.)
- keep the great modding ability of your games (i'm a modder for CP2077 on Nexus / diff. Discords and couldn't live without mods for Orion)
- longer main-story (i don't care about big Hollywood names, but even though I totally love the CP2077 main-story, I wish for some more hours of the main-story in Orion)
Awesome list! Damn Choom. Nice
Literally just this
My most wanted would be:
1. More joytoys
2. More cats to pet
I see you are a man of culture. I like this list more than my own. Just too add, 3. More Meredith.
@@StuGamePlus The more Meredith, the merrier - Merredithier?
On a side note, beating Woodman to a pulp with Sir John Phallustiff is one of my most satisfying videogame moments in recent memory.
Your list shows deep thought and contemplation, and is worthy of praise. Plus, more Mommy Meredith
What I would like from another Cyberpunk game:
1) A return to Night City for the main game, but have different locations (like the Moon, Crystal Palace, etc.) be accessible via Expansions
2) A time jump that's post-5th Corporate War, but still during a shadow-war between humanity & AI
3) Returning characters that aren't just pure fan-bait, like the Russian Fixer or the Afterlife Merc Regina Jones has us help
4) Multi-use cyberware. Like how Mantis Blades were originally supposed to allow wall climbing on top of being sword-arms
Absolutely, point 4 would be fantastic!
Honestly, this kind of dynamic would be insanely good.
Some good suggestions. I'd like to see:
- More detailed interiors and interactivity within NPCs. I want to go into shops and eat, buy things, and interact more RP wise with the world
- More activities to do in the city which could be extended to other NPCs (friends + romance options)
- Expanded home ownership: more apartments, houses, mansions, boat house that are upgradable and customizable to some degree
- Having a crew you can build along your playthrough by befriending characters and having them join you on certain missions or live at your place
- A lot more customization in your appearance and cyberware
- Even more movement abilities. I play with a lot of mods and have seen NC from angles impossible in the base game and I really wish that was possible without the mods.
- Flying cars/bikes maybe keep the very expensive/a late game item as it might break some engagement with the ground level of the city in terms of traversing the scenery
- A more blank slate MC with more RPG elements that allows you to craft your persona and backstory that can have impact on the story unlike what was done for 2077 where it didn't matter at all really
- Vehicle customization: colors, tuning, parts which could also extend into racing
- Cyberspace: VR, blackwall, the old net etc
- Having your character get drunk/drugged up and distorting the visuals/vibrancy could be really cool
- More NPC behaviors: Gangs committing crimes and police chasing them, Trauma Team saving clients, people just doing more stuff with intent instead of standing or walking around
- I think having two functional modes for 1st and 3rd povs which be great.
Impressive list! A lot to digest. Thanks
Great list. As for NG+ I think it comes as a form of endgame where all the missions respawn. Which would be great.
Indeed, any sort of endgame would be awesome!
The gigs and stories from phantom Liberty have soul that's what is important deep and well written events
Haha, imagine it. If they modeled an in car NPC driver based on my driving, you'd never get from A to B without being t-boned.
That's exactly what I said. Glad to see we're on the same page choom! Not just Cyberpunk but the Witcher too.
Just give us more options as well as more extreme visual cybernetics that we can use to design our own character.
yes!
What I would like to see;
1, More character customizing options like DD2
2, Less Revolvers and more weapon variety
3, More Car veriety
4, More romancing options and scenes
5, Car and Bike customization, the can add a garage system
6, More amazing and bigger stories
7, Iteractions with pets and other animals
8, More hacking
9, New locations with a flight system like how they added trains
10, New and Diverse enemies in the open world and story.
Thanks!
Why don't you take me bowling?"
"NIKO! IT'S BRUCY BABE!!"
Loved it! Still think that that feature was super underrated.
Great video bro! And I agree with all your points For me I’d like:
More backstory options - have nomad, street kid, corpo as normal but add some more like ex media, ex soldier/ police, ex gang member (chose your gang) etc and have the backstories much more ingrained to the story
The 5th corpo war which leads into the black wall completely being destroyed and then the rogue AIs coming
I’d like 3x cities - Night City then maybe a Texas City (to see the independent Texas) and Tokyo or even Busan
More gangs obviously - are werewolves real? Alien serpents from Alpha Centurai 😅, as someone said there is a clown 🤡 gang in the lore already put them in it - they could go crazy with this
The Crystal Palace and the Moon - the Crystal Palace has its own humans on it according to the lore (I think)
Definitely more exploration of the net
More heists
Add proper garage’s for your vehicles, customisation of vehicles etc
I think they are going to jump forwards to 2087-2089
In game we have an in depth side quest about V and their shenanigans (I think we are going to be a new MC)
A third person mode
Able to make serious eddies without having to use exploits (a more balanced economy lol you have legendary stuff it shouldn’t only sell for a small handful of eddies!) - although if exploits existed in any world it would be Cyberpunk 😅
More relationships, one night stands, have booty calls, more joytoys - I’d like any full romances to be able to be done no matter what gender/ sexuality you are (I no in real life people have preferences but this is a game after all - I’m convinced they took this out last minute in 2077)
Expand on the BDs (although they are limited on what they could do with this as some of them are a bit crazy 😅)
More depth to characters we meet - maybe add repeatable missions here
More in depth fixers!
More customisation in general
More side content like GTA has (golf, tennis, bowling, pool lol 😂)
Thank you, and brilliant list! I'm taking notes and adding things to the ever growing spreadsaheet!
@@StuGamePlus that’s just some 😅
#1 for me is randomized events between npc’s like a cop shoving someone as an npc makes a decision to scream or cry and their responses aren’t linear at a specific location but can occur anywhere to make the game feel like npc’s have emotions and depth. You’re approached by someone (robbery, join a crew, being arrested, attempted assassination) but it occurs non linear and could happen at any moment as you play.
Yeah AI improvements are definitely important.
"Cyberspace as pictured in 2077 seems more like movies in 1977"
Why specificaly this date?
Oh and I hope you will live play Orion when it will be released! I wish the best!
I think having some kind of faction reputation system would be interesting you held the right family maybe they get you out of jail Morton maybe they make your record disappear
immersive!
@@christophermzdenek you're right, that really could work quite nicely! I bet you're a kick ass DM!
Excellent! Pretty hopeful about that so!
Yeah choom! That would be great! Love it. That would fix Going out like a legend AND letting us have an endgame.
They need more activities to do like sitting places or sit at bars and drinking like you can in some situations and also it would be sick if you get random encounters on the train and stuff
yeah like that NCART encounter. Good stuff.
Tez, your back!
Edit: I literally cried when you made your last video. You have made my last few years better with your videos.
Thanks. I'd love to do that too, will start these on a second channel though, they tend to tank when I put them on here.
Very interesting observation, and I agree.
I made a whole video about how it could work done time ago, but yeah I'd bet the farm that they won't be bringing V back as a playable character
@@awilk418 Right, it’s like people completely ignored the whole point of the story
Yeah. Make V a legend with various Easter eggs about them and leave it at that. I want to explore a new character and their shenanigans
I would love the opportunity to complete the space mission though,
its not about keeping v alive, in 90% of their endings its open ended leaving you to interpret, theres alot of ties in their life that are left mysterious (the prophet, mr blue eyes, songbird, open endings). literally in path of glory the game ends mid mission and a LOT of people want to play or see what happens to them after, yes nc spits you out, but its literally stated v could be the first actual living breathing legend to survive night city, v's story has no closure or cannon ending at all. people want v's story to continue because its not actually even over, her whole story is left on a cliffhanger
As a resident of Atlanta, I DESPERATELY want to see more of Atlanta in this universe. Even just some lore or tidbits. I'm running a tabletop homebrew of Red in Atlanta, but I would love to learn more canon stuff.
Nice! I'd love to get into a tabletop group for this some day. Maybe when my kids are grown and I've got some more free time.
Thanks!
Mildly amusing anecdote:
When I first walked into Night City I remember being amazed- wow the attention to detail, they even have twins as NPCs, till I realised I was looking at the same models over and over again.
I’d love randomised NPC appearance in the next one.
Nice!
I think it would be really cool if the endings of the game that you can do now become the beginnings of the game that you can choose from and you can choose which ending of the game you left off on and start the game with that but eventually, they will all lead to the same story just like cyberpunk did with the life paths
This would be grreat!
Nothing wrong with dreaming! But it's all so heist based, it would make perfect sense.
Playing as a cop or a paramedic would be pretty cool! I hope that's one of the features we can do
That would be fun!
I would love:
- More Third person cutscenes
- An optional third person camera
- Body sliders for character creation
- NG+
- More Parkour options (similar to what they originally showcased in the trailers)
- New locations
- Multiplayer
- MORE ROMANCE OPTIONS
NG+ for sure
I loved a lot of the ideas in this video. but my ideas for the next game would be:
- a humanity system.
Thanks for the list, glad you enjoyed the video, looking forward to making the sequel with all your lists outlined!
Nice Video!
Excellent suggestions!
Night Corp, and the NUSA threaten to engulf the city.
hehe!
Loved the driving system and I think it would be great if we could have some more complex races and car chases.
Absolutely, maybe they could have a whole racing tournament circuit in Atlanta!
Very interesting!
I just finished reading the new source book Tales of the RED hope reborn and in that, they have rules for bases for your edge runner crew.
It made me want to be able to have a customable crew and customised base to operate out of.
Would be awesome!
I like most of the things from your list, so the only things I'd like to add would be:
- More pace control. I felt pushed by most quests without a room to decide when to move it forward myself. Doing side quests or simply strolling around almost always required breaking natural flow of events (infamous "Hanako at Embers" could simply be "call/text/whatever to arrange a meeting" etc.)
- I missed those 3rd person view inserts like they showed in one of pre-release demos (elevator in scavs hideout).
Thanks for the input!
-be able to name my save files if I have different play styles.
-more gang activity overall to give the player something to do in the later part of the game.
it really needs that!
I think this had more consequential choices than mass effect. Much more.
Flying taxies! Easy to implement and fun! I loved all (few) examples of flying cars in the game.
Fifth Element style! think of the easter eggs.
Interesting, come to think of it, you're probably correct on your analysis.
@@StuGamePlus There's a first time for everything. LOL
In the order I think of them
1. More interaction, with the world around us, citizens, shops, market stands, vedors right down to the net. A full mega tower would be nice
Nice!
More divergent dialogue would be great
My list of hopeful additions for Orion:
Great list thanks!
I'd like for them add something like what was done in Like A Dragon where you take over a business from the bottom and bring it up
That'd be fun
Lots of opportunity in Braindances for new fast content, you could be a player in them and imagine of you had these missions within them like one where you play a spy and another where you are an investigator. Think Total recall.
That would be awesome! That reminds me, I must get to mars!
Need to be able to win big at the wheel!
I definitely intend to if I get a copy and the time to sit down with it. Thanks for the recommendation.
Some theings i'd like
- Gang rep, like being friendly with the valentinos, but the claws hate you, and corp rep
-Drive bys by enemy gangs
-Territory, turf wars, and shifting territory based on the player's actions
-A DOG
-Better Ai for pedestrians or al least more of them
I think a doge would be nice, but hard to do given the status of animals in general. Imagine a trained Belgian Mal attack hound!
Would be cool to see V come back as a fixer, or maybe we find out he is a sleeper agent for the NUSA.. which means all his cyberware can be reactivated he goes out to gank someone and when it gets deactivated again he has no memory of it. lol
Ha! I love your imagination, imagine it, they've set V up like the Manchurian Candidate! Phone rings - Click "Is this Raymond 'V' Shaw?"
@@StuGamePlusthis is actually a massive theory that’s been going around - if V does the NUSA ending they haven’t actually been I a coma but used by NUSA to do black ops then black V out so they have no memory of it
@@Rickus316awesome! I like this theory a lot.
@@Rickus316 Ngl that’s a pretty cool theory
I’d like to see a city set in the NUSA. Since most of the endings involve you crippling Arasaka it would be cool to have them more in the background as opposed to the main antagonist role they have in the main quest of 2077.
Also would love to have Refused return as Samurai for new tracks.
That'd be cool.
Great point about clothing. Style over substance is a BIG part of Cyberpunk, we need to be able to heavily customize outfits.
Solid list, thank you.
Absolutely. This would be great.
You want the bozos gang from the source book and they are terrifying
Brilliant! If they already exist, then they have to include them! Not to self. Get hold of the source book! :D
There is a vampire gang too. Philharmonic vampires or something like that. There a whole adventure book dealing with them.
@@soldierbreed yeah it's in the Tales of the RED source book
A stress mechanic might be a good idea.
Basically your character builds mental stress from fighting, killing and using cyberware, the stress gives you stat debuffs and runs the risk of cyberpsychosis however you can reduce stress by partaking in social activities and resting which would give a good reason for the player to hang out with their chops and not just jump between gigs to maximise cash flow and possibly reduce the tedium of doing those gigs and missions back to back since you might have to stop off at a bar for a pint and a chat with a friend to keep your stress in check between missions.
That kind of meter would be very cool!
I'd love to be able to form a crew of Edgerunners to do jobs. Go out into the city, meet other mercs, call them for heists, etc. Who knows who you'll run into.
It would be cool!
This is like Alan Partridge trying to convince the BBC exec to give him a second series...
"Monkey tennis?"
Great reference 👍
An end-game where you play as Johnny Silverhand after he [spoiler]
Takes V's body.
This would have been such an clean way to implement a post-game state.
Let's see if i can do ten
How'd I do? 🤔
Nice list! Thanks, I'll add it to the rest.
3rd person and character customization in terms of cybernetics. Those mods that change your hands are amazing let alone allowing you to become fully cybernetic.
Yes! Would love actual limb mods.
NO CO OP PLEASE
Co op would be such fun. If you have friends. Which I don't. I always forget that part.
@@StuGamePlus it’s annoying tbh when any game tgat comes out ppl want coop
I Would love to see NPC routines for main npcs. Like you can find them in other places around night city more often not just in own apartment. Followers would be nice too
Really great idea. Make them feel more alive.
Still the most fun I’ve had gaming, excellent list, thank you Tez, 👍👍👍
Take care mate.
Thanks, John! Hope all is well with you!
@@StuGamePlus All good here, hope you and your family are well 👍
Would love to be a solider on one side or the corporate wars or something, Zack Fair from Crisis Core was cool as hell and it was fun to learn more about the messed up world and overarching story etc
This would bring an interesting perspective to the world! Quite a change of pace
Random events that show up on the city map scanner like the police shootouts with gangs, but not set piece.
I bet this is tricky to code without breaking stuff. Would love it though
Keep 'em coming. They taking notes.
The next video is going to be a top 20. So many good lists!
I wouldnt mind if Cyberpunk 2 played in Night City again IF they added all cut locations and made every single house in Night City enterable (is that a word??).
Enterable works for me!
Every building being enterable would be crazy! I love it, you'll be playing it for a decade just to look in all the buildings.
What I want
-Factions to join and their respective quests/consequences
-A silent protag or at least have more than 2 voice options
-Background having more value not just some dialog selection. More so you can't join certain factions or have more scrutiny when doing stuff outside of your background.
-I know this thing is hated in the community but a third person mode wouldn't hurt.
It's not as unpopular as you'd think looking at all the comments asking for it lol
Things I want from Orion:
-A completely different storyline separate from V
-V To appear in the story in some way, but be a minor reference or cameo.
- Real car customization (we got so close in the end, some of the drop points for El Capitan look like custom shops)
- More vehicle variety (more completely different base vehicles instead of variants, specifically motorcycles)
- Weapon appearance and functionality customization. (Gunsmith)
- More cyberware functionality and appearance on character
- Character customization that changes body type and shape
I'll leave the rest to them. Cyberpunk 2077 is awesome and gave me so many things I didn't know I wanted.
The fact you didn't add "driving assists for Tez" was a disappointment. Great list otherwise! :D
I really hope they include this. With ripper operation animation sequences like the one with have with Vik to match
It was sorely lacking in the first game, especially when so many NPCs were sporting such awesome mods.
My most wanted is the ability to be able to go from 1st person too 3rd person view, the reason
it didn't happen in CP2077 was the engine limitations.
Thanks choom!
Wallrunning would be cool!
As when I think about Orion I think about the old DVD series named chuck so I expect the same script as in those series with orion
Orion Pictures! EVERY SINGLE TIME! Me too. I watched A trailer for RoboCop the other night, and when I saw it it made me think of Cyberpunk 2077 lol
EDIT: Also I LOVED Chuck, the one with Zach Levy (sp?)
@handsomeTez yes with bartosky the spy nerd with a computer programmed in his brain and then Orion was the one who created that program
Surprised you didn't mention 3rd person since you showed it quite a bit.
Some of my most wanted things:
1) Pick your backstory based on how you thought CP2077 ended.
2) Flying cars!
3) Like you said, a better cyberspace would be nice
4) More interactive NPC's (besides just one or two lines of dialogue)
5) The whole game Phantom Liberty quality or better.
I'm down with having my own old-timer gang!
Burnout Paradise was a hoot! Loved smashing through the city.
- vehicle customization
- random encounters (ideally with NPCs calling out to you/ weird events that you want to investigate)
- more romance options and more interactions after the romance
- body customization (height, weight, muscle, body hair and cyber wear)
- less cringe sex scenes
- better driving
- option to clean up the hud, especially during exploration
- better stealth options
- more cut scenes (I want to see my V sometimes)
I really want to pimp my ride.
the Animals already do genetically modify themselves with animal DNA. and its in the game. theres a NCPD huscle where you can come across an Animal gang leader with scales on his skin. he also wears a big belt like a pro wrestler. pretty sure its a reference to Killer Croc from batman, but yeah thats already in the game. i would like to see more of that tho. as for new gangs i doubt they will use any gangs that aren't coming directly from the source books. but there is a gang called the Bozos that is pretty much you wanted there so you may get what you want.
I've completely forgotten about that NCOs hustle, like I don't even recall it based on your description. Gonna need to properly dive back in.
Nice!
"MORGAN MOFOIN' BLACKHAND!" I concur!
Edid: You also have a really good point about romance option flexibility
@@StuGamePlus i mean, I'm a filth pig so I just wanna bang all of the people lol
@@DJMarcO138I wonder what kind of gangs are out there in the badlands besides aldecaldos and wraiths
I think making the new city be a lunar colony further in the future than 2077 would be dope
Very dope. Triple Nova.
- super ambitious but multiplayer and co-op. Take a page from GTA’s book and create a multiplayer system even if it’s separate from the story. Create your own merc. Form a crew with other players. With new missions and content updates. I want to keep playing and exploring the world with friends.
3rd person cutscenes
- More romance options
- For life paths to matter
- would love to continue as V but with the multiple endings that’s difficult.
- in-depth sliders in character customization
Thanks!
I know this would be minor, but it would be so cool to be able to steal one of those Maxtac flying vehicles that appear to drop Maxtac cops when you get max wanted level, or even one of the flying vehicles that trauma team use.
I've tried on many occasions. So yeah, I'd love that. "AIR JACK" Perk
One of the things I hope for but don't expect, understandably is
better driving physics for cars _and_ better steering animations + manual gear shifting animations.
The gear shifting animations for cars that are clearly manual like they have a visible gear shifter in 1st person etc
because so many of the car interiors look amazing but the steering animations are not so great.
This would add to immersion ten fold especially with mod cars added later on.
Yeah that would be a nice touch to first person driving, like in the rally and other racing games.
I would like to see more customization of the main character like for example: tattoo shops, barber etc.
Tattoo shops! yeah that would be cool.
8 New MC
7 NG+
6 more cyberware and skills the shit we got in 2077 was good but i think it can be expanded upon to make more diverse gameplay
5 more immersive sim elements , 2077 flirts with immersive sim elements and they're good but I'd like more options in stealth more ways to navigate missions and gigs akin to the Deus ex games , 2077 has some of these things in the gigs more than the main missions but i think if expanded upon could make for more deep gameplay while discovering new shit everytime we play .
4 More exploarable interiors , if NC comes back i would like to explore more of what goes on in the buildings and maybe the sewer system aswell , something like deus ex mankind divided where we could break into people's homes and read their emails steal their shit maybe find a secret compartment in their house or codes to a safe somewhere or something that will be useful later on for example we find in an apartment a millitich employee ID and it makes a later mission easier
3 more costimization, the options we got where very limited in 2077 and would like to see more costimization to the body of our MC , their cyberware and their clothing options and also be able to save presets and maybe share them with other people.
An idea I've had for awhile is what if we were able to side with Saul bu ratting on Panam and getting a different aldecaldo ending where Panam dies
1 doing more with street cred , in 2077 it got us some benefits like getting discounts on cars and being recognized as a threat in some missions , i would like more of that and it affecting some outcomes in main missions and also being able to haggle fixers for better pay based on street cred like the witcher contracts in the witcher3
Great input, thanks! This is going to be an interesting community list!
I'd like to see more with Cyberspace too, though I kinda like how inscrutible
Animal like people are, in the setting, called "exotics" and are canon (but have fallen out of fashion by 2077, which is their excuse for not showing us any). Exotics include both mostly human nekomimi type, and full on furry. Despite being unfashionable I'd still expect to see them occasionally and a little club or bar for them for would be fun. (Or a gang made up exclusively of exotics.)
I know some folks hate the HUD, and that's fair, but my approach would be keep a HUD but make it more diagetic than it currently is.
Video billboards literally playing movie trailers. etc etc
I'd like to be able to join a gang, with different entrance requirements.
I do not want "reaver" type baddies -- they basically just fast-zombies and I'm just so bored of zombies.
And... apparently I wrote an essay... oops? XD
Thanks for taking the time! I'm going to grab a mug of tea and start picking through our points for the spreadsheet! Nice one Choomba :D
1. multiplayer
2. Bigger and more branched story
3. More connections to gangs and copos
4. Car mods
5. More options into char. creation (Horns, metal limbs, better hair, more chrome weapons (with better animations))
I really want to mod my ride.
A few things I'd like to see in Orion:
- Better weapons
They should be smooth and tactile like in CoD MWII or Ready or Not.
-Better movement
Pretty much the same thing. It should feel like you're running or walking, not like floating around with some camera shaking.
Also they should add more features to parkour like in Dying Light for example.
-More context/interaction animations
-Enhanced vehicles
In terms of types, physics and customization.
Edit: in addition I'd love to see more Cyberpunk 2020 lore related correlations and stuff, I think it was criminally underused in 2077
More 2020 lore would be an excellent thing to include!
Would be fun.
