3rd Gen Tacoma TRD Pro Mods: DIY ECGS Rear Diff Swap- On Jack Stands.

My first long highway trip was a learning experience in this truck. Coming from a stage 2 Audi s3 I was spoiled a little when it comes to power, and the DSG transmission's lightning quick shifts. The Tacoma drove horribly in comparison so I read up about what to do and regearing came up over and over. I wasn't going to spend $3500(Denver's inflated cost for a regear) for a shop to do, so I found East Coast Gear Supply's pre-assembled gear sets. The cost for front(no locker added) and rear was about $2000. With the $1500 I saved doing it myself I bought some RCI rock sliders, and RCI transmission and transfer case skid plates, they're in my area so no shipping costs.
