I did 32 inch super atv intimidators with super atv bft lift and made a huge difference on my northstar definitely made the machine more usable my install took about 4 hours with switching over ball joints and bushings those highlifter arms look just as beefy as super atv's. Good looking machine ya got there keep the vids coming
Thanks! Highlifter said I could go up to 31 inch tires with no issues but I already had bought the 30s. The arms are heavy duty and way thicker than the stock ones. Now I have to get the back arms! Lol
Yeah I am assuming that is if you have no lift kit and the unit is just stock height. I have a 2.5 inch lift and I could probably fit 32s now but I'm cool with the 30s.
@@UTVDIRT Thanks for the videos, all great info! I have a northstar with the highlifter 3" lift and the highlifter Aarms. I'm struggling to decide between 30" or 32" carnivores. How much clearance do you think you'd have with 32's? Thanks for any help in deciding.
@@donliebelt7958 I have about 2 inches of clearance at full steering wheel locked one way. It would be real tight with my 2.5 inch lift kit. With your 3 inch kit you might have more room but I am not sure. If it was me I would go with the 30s. If I had the 3 inch kit I could probably help you out better.
Thanks! Yeah I drove it around and had no rubbing issues and feels more stable. Doesn't feel top heavy at all. I'm glad I put them on. Thanks for watching!
Looks nice. I have a northstar with a high lifter 3" lift and high lifter A arms. I can't decide between 30" or 32" carnivores. How much room do you now have? How much clearance do you think you would have with 32's. According to Maxxis's website, their 30" are 30.5" overall and the 32's are 32" overall. Any insight would be very helpful. Thanks
Why did you install the A arms when you already had a lift and 30" tires? Did you have any rubbing issues or just wanted to do an upgrade? How did it effect the ride?
At 4:40, during the time-lapse you remove the lower control arm from the rest of the assembly. How do you get the stud ball out of the block? I've undone the flange nut of course, but is there another step? I've given it a good smack with a mallet and nothing. Your help would be greatly appreciated, can not find anything else online!!
@@UTVDIRT Hey thanks so much for that! Got it off, just wasn't sure if there was something else that had to come out first, didn't want to break anything
Do you run tracks on yours? I am thinking about odering a set of their forward arms. I will run tracks on mine this winter. I have a 20 northstar. Any help appreciated.
Lol. Yeah I didn't really want to do a arms and thought I could get away with 30s and have no rubbing issues but I had no choice. It wasn't bad until I had to take the whole front off for two bolts. Lol
Would of loved to actually see you doing the bushing change? as well as the steering spacers? Guess I can find another video on how to do it,keep up the videos, thanks anyways!
The bushings need to be tapped out by using a punch and hammer. The steering locks just clip on to the steering rack rod after you undo the boot. Its real simple and the highlifter instructions are color and very detailed.
Lift kit is a Marshall MOTOART 2inch with 30 inch tires. I have separate videos on both lift kit and tires. Check it out on the channel. Thanks for watching!
I really like the orange. It also makes installation easier to see. thanks for the video.

Nice a arms! You will love the difference. I got the super ATV a arms and my 30 inch outback Max tires have not rubbed once on my 19 1000 crew.

This is several years old, but did it make your turning radius wider?
Looks great! Just ordered the same machine. Can’t wait to get it
Nice!
Did u do a different clutch. Want to lift mine just want to make sure the symmetry stays close to factory
I enjoy your videos , the Ranger is looking great !
that is the perfect stance and tire size as far as I'm concerned!
Yep it changed the whole look of the unit.
@@UTVDIRT What size Wheels and Tires are you running on this machine?
@@tysonbacon1964 30X10X14 with a 4+3 offset.

Why did you install the A arms when you already had a lift and 30" tires? Did you have any rubbing issues or just wanted to do an upgrade? How did it effect the ride?
They rubbed when the steering wheel was fully locked one way and the shock was compressed. Now they don't rub at all.

You might have to use a pry bar to break it loose or like you already said use a mallet and give it a good smack.
@@UTVDIRT Hey thanks so much for that! Got it off, just wasn't sure if there was something else that had to come out first, didn't want to break anything
Will you have to purge the brake lines
Do you think you could run those 30" wheels and tire with just those front a-arms with out clearance issues?
Yes you dont need to put a lift kit on like I did. You can just install the forward a arms and have no clearance issues.
Great work.
Did you have to buy any other parts to install these? Like axl tie rods or anything?
Nope everything you need is in the kit.
Do you run tracks on yours? I am thinking about odering a set of their forward arms. I will run tracks on mine this winter. I have a 20 northstar. Any help appreciated.
are they 1.5 or 2" fwd a arms
Have mercy might had gone with 29.5 tires I won’t be doing A arm job unless I ship my ranger to you guys

So when these were added do you still have a lift on as well or just the a arms to clear the 30’s?
I still have the lift on.
What about the back? Did you do both front and rear?
Yes I did another video for the rear install. You can check the vid out on my UA-cam channel under the video tab. Thanks for watching!
Ok thanks .
Did you have any trouble keeping alignment? I’m ordering my a arms Monday. Keep
Up the awesome videos
No I did not have any problems. The instructions are real detailed and show you how to align the front end. Thanks for watching!
Are these the same A arms that I have on my stock 2020 ranger HL??
To be honest I am not sure. I purchased mine from the High Lifter website.
@@UTVDIRT okay thanks

Just curious, what do you do for a living there in Ohio?
I manage a local business here in town. Thanks for watching!
Did you leave the MMA lift in place when you added the arms?
Yes! No clearance issues at all plus more ground clearance.
These are only foward not Arched correct ..
They are forward and arched for more ground clearance.
Curious if you ever measured the total height with 30's and new a arms?
Yeah but cant remember exact measurements but it barely fit in my attached garage to the house and it was a 7ft door. Hope that helps.
What are the wheel specs and lift kit
Lift kit is a Marshall MOTOART 2inch with 30 inch tires. I have separate videos on both lift kit and tires. Check it out on the channel. Thanks for watching!
why did you skip the steering arm stop??
Probably got edited out due to bad angle on camera. They just clip on the steering rack bar. Real simple.
what doors are those?
They are called Fortress doors.
Could I run 33 on these arms and a 3 inch lift
Highlifter says max tire size of 31 inches. Not sure if they will work on 33s.
UTV DIRT yea that’s with the arms only so not shure but thanks for your help
The hat .
