This is wonderful. Brings many memories of taking my son camping every year from age 6 to 18. He now is an avid backpacker and camper.
I need to revisit this again with him. He’s 33 so it’s been awhile.

I have watched hundreds of great outdoor camping video’s in the winter, before, during, and after a winter storm, I watched them build shelters, campfires, beds etc. but what I have never seen is anyone build a latrine (toilet). They don’t have to demonstrate using it, but at else show that you have one, or some new modern day method designed for camping. No one can go three days camping without relieving themselves, its part of life, human nature, nothing to be shamed about.

Спокойствие и умиротворение!! Но это, если не знать, что этому предшествовало! Перекидал пять кубов снега, перетащил всю амуницию, натаскал дров...и правильно сделал, что на ужин уехал домой! Тут хотя бы честно показано, что человек приехал в лес на машине. А то смотришь некоторые видео, пришел с рюкзаком и достал - лопату, печку, зимнюю палатку, зимний спальник, складной стул, набор посуды и т.д. Какой-то фентези безразмерный рюкзак.

this was so relaxing and soothing to watch. loved all the angles and the narration parts here and there. seeing all the different tools and how you used them makes me feel like i could do a trip like this too even though im pretty small.

I know that it’s all about personal taste, but the thing about this stove that drives me crazy is not having a full door that swings open. It seems like it would be very annoying while cleaning out ashes.

All the gadgets, but no $3 damper in the stove pipe that would keep the heat from going up the pipe, save wood, and let you get more sleep (fewer reloads of the stove during the night).
