I felt for all characters. Highly recommend. People complaining about the ending were not paying attention. The story beats a littered all over the chapters culminating in the crescendo that is the end.

The rose of may remix is beyond perfect, it made me feel so nostalgic. I played FF IX for the las time like 4 years ago, one of my favourite games of all the times.
Been playing FFX Remastered. This game has otherworldly art direction. I spent extra time studying and admiring the weaves and tapestries lining the huts on Besaid. The color patterns create the illusion of great space inside these huts. The colorful rugs and jugs make them feel homely, and the natural sunlight blaring through the door-less entrances connect you to the outside world so that you don't feel isolated inside. The rounded architecture of the huts allows for an abundance of interior furnishings without crowding the space. Living on an island let's them fish and grill food outdoors so they don't need a dedicated kitchen, and they probably use the wilderness as a bathroom. In modern society, the simple addition of a secondary out-hut would suffice in accommodating those needs. I played this game through a few times when I was a youngin but I can tell I'll be appreciating this play through in a new way than I did before.
