As someone who suffers from Severe Anxiety, I can actually understand CC's dependency on his hoodie and his emotions.
I wish I never had that problem.
I have the same issues, while my anxiety may not be as bad as yours, Staardust, I still find extreme comfort and security when I wear my hoodie.
Im anxious sometimes but I don't have that feeling but my emotion is mostly never happy but My emotion is always sacred, sad and annoyed
I suffer from mild anxiety, but I don’t have something that comforts me. I’m pretty much used to the feeling, as I’ve had it for over a year now. The anxiety got much worse, as it’s multiple times a day and long time. The only time I don’t actually feel anxiety is when I’m with friends.

the emotional control thing with the hoodie and cc actually makes sense, i have a pair of Bluetooth headphones i used to wear around my neck that did something similar to me in a way. after my dad took them and locked them away i haven't been the same and my grades are low and i cant get them back till the end of the school year its so annoying.

This reminded me when I was like this. It was a time when my depression was really bad, anxiety was skyrocketing, and I had few friends. One day, I couldn't find my jacket. I had one or two panic attacks, and was just scared and sad out of my mind. Once it was found, I wore it to sleep for a few days. That jacket meant a lot to me, and it still does. When I have it, all the good memories just comes rushing in, like a wave of happiness. I feel more safe, and my anxiety plummets. It has bonus points for being my favorite color, and fuzzy as hell. Nobody in my family knows where it came from, but I have a feeling it was from someone I cared for a *lot*.
To anyone reading this, thank you for reading! I hope you have a wonderful morning/day/afternoon/night!

Reminds me of me and Bella, my favorite stuffed animal. I've had her the majority of my life and cannot sleep without her. I know it is a bit odd for a 19 year old to still need stuffed animals, but when I have night terrors it helps to have her near. She's been with me through multiple medication changes, a traumatic car accident, and multiple depressive episodes. I've had her so long her fur is falling off, her nose is worn and peeling, her eyes are dented from accidentally dropping her over the years, and her fur has gone from white and fluffy to grey and frizzy in most areas.
