Hello crazy ladies! Yay! I just finished catching up with all your episodes from the very beginning and it has been a blast getting to know you all. I started knitting in 2015, wish I would have started when I was much younger. Lol because the eyes and hands are not as strong as they once were but I do knit and crochet almost everyday. I now have sock knitting under my belt and have knitted a pullover sweater for one of my granddaughters, and a tank top for the other. You inspire me to want to knit myself clothing. I am so excited to get started with sweater knitting. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on patterns, yarns, tips and techniques. I won’t be in the shadows anymore! 😊 StitchedbyMimi
Thank you for your kind comments!! 💕 You should absolutely knit yourself a sweater! We are not fast knitter’s either, go slow and steady and you will be successful!
Thank you, Kate, for saying that you put the wire all the way through the body of the frog for the arms and legs. I was having so much difficulty putting wire for each leg. It just was not working right. I am looking at my two-legged frog and now i think i can finish him with your tip. Thank you again. 😊
I have been laughing along so much. Kate, I’m here for frog 🐸🥰 and those sweaters 💕 so darn cute!!! My swatch recently lied so it was the wrong kind of frog happening here 🫤 Thanks for the fun 🥰
You are all just as lovely and funny in person! Kate, I did the Wild and Woolly Knitted Animals book after seeing your frogs. so sorry about your pup :(
Kim I had the same issue with the Jason hat. Love the pattern but a little small. Think I’ll use a larger needle next time. So enjoy all your episodes and your beautiful knitting!
Love all your sweaters! One of these days I will get to Vogue. Enjoy your podcast. When I go to a fiber show. I try to go with a pattern or two in mind and first go through the whole show to look and take notes. Then I shop
Frog and Toad by Kristina Ingrid McGowan . It goes with the Frog and Toad book. You can purchase just the pattern or kits. Your frogs are a bit cuter and still could be use with the book.
Kim and I used to be elementary school teachers so we are familiar with Frog and Toad. 💚💚 These frogs are not the best for little ones but I love giving a hand knit hat or sweater with a book as a baby gift!
i recently started making stuffed animals, from the book Knitted Animal Friends, is this a way to recapture childhood? Not sure, but it is a lot of fun! Thank you for another great podcast, I was feeling very sad today missing my little dog that passed, you three really cheered me up.
You guys are great. Love that you are real. ❤❤

What is the frog pattern?
Sorry, dot pebbles knits is the designer and it’s called Frog!
Kate, what is the yarn and color name of your sweater
The yarn is Woolfolk Luft color 5L
Berg by Julie Hoover woolfolk Luft yarn color 5L
If you didn't put wires in the frogs they would be good for any age.
I guess if you used safety eyes and no wire. Probably depends on the kid. (Maybe not babies who may put it in their mouths though.)
Ribbitt...Ribbitt 🐸🤣😂
