- Biography -
三船雅也 (vo/g)、中原鉄也 (dr) による東京で結成された indie rock band。2014年、1st AL『ロットバルトバロンの氷河期』を真冬のフィラデルフィアで制作。2015年、2nd AL『ATOM』をカナダ・モントリオールのスタジオにて現地ミュージシャンとレコーディング。
日本国内のみならず US・ASIA でツアーを行うなど精力的にライブ活動を展開し、大型 Music Festival にも数多く出演。サマーソニック、フジロック、ライジングサン、朝霧 JAM 等、野外ステージにてその音楽性を大いに発揮、多くの聴衆を魅了している。
2016年12月には恵比寿 LIQUIDROOM にて単独公演「BEAR NIGHT」を開催し、バンド史上初 9人フル編成による圧巻のステージを披露、大歓声のもと1年を締めくくった。

2017年はキャリア初、クラウドファンディング・キャンペーンにより UK・ロンドンにて EP 盤を製作、この秋に待望の新曲 ”dying for” を発表。現在 3rd AL を鋭意製作中。
ROTH BART BARON is an indie rock band based in Tokyo, Japan.
Member : Masaya Mifune (vo/gt) , Tetsuya Nakahara (dr).
ROTH BART BARON’s music is influenced by modern rock and folk music. The band’s song has beautiful melody and attractive arrangement, with incrediblely impressive Japanese lyrics. 1st album “The Ice Age” (2014) was recorded in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with Brian McTear (Kurt Vile, the War on Drugs) as co-producer and mix engineer Jonathan Low (The National, Sufjan Stevens). The album was selected among best albums of the year by a number of music media. The Sci-fi inspired second album “ATOM” was recorded at the God Speed You! Black Emperor's studio “Hotel2tango” in Montreal, Canada, with domestic local musicians.
They also held "US-Tour 2014”, ”ASIA TOUR 2016”, and appeared at ”Big Mountain Music Festival '15" in Thailand, and "PLAYTIME FESTIVAL '16 in Mongolia. Masaya Mifune, the vocal guitarist, performed an attractive stage at the Tokyo show of a “Celebration David Bowie 2017” world tour in February 2017.
Following the success of their first two albums “The Ice Age” (2014) and “ATOM” (2015), the band performed on big music festivals including “SUMMER SONIC”, “FUJI ROCK Festival” in Japan.
The band launched a crowdfunding campaign in 2017 and supporters helped to achieve the goal with time to spare. They went to London with the funding to work with Bradley Spence (ALT-J, Kasabian) and Alexander Beitzke (James Arthur, Florence + the Machine) in studio.
