    Hey, Dude..thats a cool build... A handy scroll saw alternative..... One suggestion. It could need a workpiece holddown system. A roller scate bearing which puts pressure onto the workpiece from above.(hight adjustable)... Thumbs up..greets from Germany.

    Great video. One question: What material is the grey one (the base for the jigsaw). Thank you in advance.

    Do you follow Ohyo 56? There are many similarities between the two of you, with your ingenuity, your style of presentation, and the way your content is so relaxing and inspiring.
    OK, now I'll shut up and watch the rest of the video.

    I made a similar jig but im having trouble with the piece being cut that it jumps upwards
    This same thing happens in your video in minute 15:06 or 15:07
    how can we prevent this since it is a dangerous situaton.
    One of the ocmments here says to install a sketboard wheel iwht a sping but this complicates things too much.
    Do you have any other solution. ?

    metal is better than wood...

      @plywoodworking  2 роки тому +1

      Agree !! but not all people can work with metal.
      Wood is easier to build than metal

      A band saw is also better than this. So? I'd bet most people looking at a video to make a jigsaw table are doing so because they can't afford a band-saw ;-) This one is also portable and cordless. It's a great little project so thanks to the author for putting it up.

    Impossible to learn anything when the author thinks that he can convey a thought or process by pointing or running a finger back and forth across an object or point. Just say it. Waste of time.
