I live in Charleston, SC. We are a huge tourist town. Northern tourists often think it's okay to be outwardly racist and drop the N word because they are in the 'DEEP SOUTH'. I've checked a few of them. This is NOT the town. I can't speak of what's in people's hearts, but we've dealt with the aftermath of slavery. This is sacred ground and everybody here knows it. The only hate crimes I ever see is by black people, the only racism I ever see is from black people! On the Scott Adams video these guys done a poll showed half of black Americans hate white people, that's a hate group! Ironic that black people get upset when white people don't like black people when they hate white people! that's because they're brainwashed and are the systems puppets just like women and feminism where there's also a double standard! It's completely fine for women to make videos bashing men but when men do it they get banned for misogyny! Women and black people are systems puppets to divide and conquer! So ironic both think they're fighting against the system as they're oppressed, more like state sponsored oppressors!

its just become a thing for people to let their emotions get in the way of the reality of things
in all honesty, you dont have to like other races, y'know as if its a strong sort of nationalism/patriotism thing.
theres a difference between having an aversion to someone and to treating them like theyre beneath you.
like how people from different cities will talk badly about each other or people with different hobbies will talk about each other.
but people wanna try and be all smart saying, 'oh i bet that simple thing he said has a deeper meaning', or 'when he says One thing, I bet he means this is the third and is just trying to hide it'.
the reality is that negative opinions will exist in all forms for all time, no matter what
but blowing it out of proportion does us no good when it comes to coming together.
just think about it: why is it perfectly fine for japanese to talk down to chinese and vice versa, for USA to talk down to england and vice versa, poor people talk down wealthy people and vice versa, but as soon as it hits race (light vs dark skin specifically), the world is coming to an end.
trying to say that being prejudiced and presumptuous to those you don't know is completely fine unless it is this one specific condition.
people can have their differences, no matter how bad they might sound to you, however, that is a completely separate case from being able to overcome differences when you know how to properly react and interact with people
and either way, anybody, professional, or mature, will at least try to not disrespect people when it really is all just business and time to be adults
letting yourself be commanded by emotions does us no good and being affectionate to only your race is pretty much the same as being negative towards others'

Nah, the logical conclusion of this mindset is that we leave black peoples' rights up for debate FOREVER. The reason you'll never find slavery or nazi debates in academia is because that would be a false balance. By giving the nazi a mic and a spot on stage, you are implicitly sending the message that there is something worth hearing out from this person. We've been winning debates with racists for hundreds of years now. At a certain point we gotta rip the bandaid off man.

But you see, this prank video wasn't meant to bring clashing cultures closer to understanding each other, it was meant to degrade and inflame prejudices. That the troll didn't get the reactions he wanted, made that video a lot sillier and less annoying than it could have been, but it was still done in bad faith.
There's nothing particularly bad about doing Borat-style fish-out-of-water mock interviews, but this has the same effect as Ari Shaffir's lame The Amazing Racist videos did: easy laughs from a small segment of people who think the worst of certain kinds of people they've never actually met or engaged with. The liberalizing and humanizing of the subjects is purely accidental.

Every employer is going to have prejudices when it comes to hiring a job applicant from the South Side of Chicago, it has nothing to do with what the person looks like, it's the stereotype that comes with being from the mu**er capital of the world.
