Is there any way I can find out if my grandfather or great grandfather were registered in any records ox the Penobscot? He was a man a only 2 words. "We're Native", but never explained, never spoke the language, and never told us what tribe. I'm only trying to find my roots, I feel lost

There is no Penobscot band or landless population in Nova Scotia. This is a major disinformation. The Mikmaq have been the sole First Nations within the boundaries of Nova Scotia. A number of families did break off from the clans in Maine and Vermont long ago and settle in Wôlinak, Quebec. The Maliseet have persevered and maintained communities in Maine and New Brunswick, but even they have not settled within Nova Scotia.

Valuable information. My only qualm is with the narrator, who sounds like she couldn't wait to get through the script she was reading. It would be nice if this video could be re-done with a narrator who is invested in the story and takes his/her time with the telling, lending emphasis to those parts that are most important.
My Mom was so proud to tell us we had Penobscot blood in us. Our high cheekbones and deep set eyes, even with our light hair and green eyes, were very noticeable. I'd love to learn more. I was born in Maine; my great great grandmother was full blooded.
Researching my native lineage and found out I have a third tribal connection in the Penobscot/Pαnawάhpskewi! Excited to be able to learn about my ancestors

It was camping on the mountain 2 days it was very code it's a good place to go camping and cut your underground shelter in
