wow yall were miles and miles away guess living out in the country has its perks and its down falls good work on being safe and getting there as soon as you could :)
I don't know about most of the Firefighters watching the Videos, but I myself keep thinking about a simple 1080p dash cam to put into the engine, tanker, or Brush truck as long as it has a decent image stabilization. It should work awesome.
Hello Mr. Capital, these rigs have big assed fuel tanks in them, there would be no need for a fuel truck, if they are low they can just stop at any gas station that sells diesel to top up their tanks.
So may I add, I might be the only one who loves to hear a power call. And the department may use their equipment to the safest they so do. They can drive slow, or drive fast. But if they make the wrong judgment they will regret it. And for the whole q thing, many dept. rip the q a lot
It was nice that you slowed down, and turned off the siren briefly, in order not to frighten the horse... The last thing you need is for that horse to spook, and run into the fire truck.
have always been curious, on long runs like these, and I am sure it all depends on the kind of truck it is, but what kind of gas miliiage do these normally get, cause I'm think that on this run, all depending on how much fuel you had on these truck when you started, buy the time you got back to your station, you I bet pretty much went through a good amount of your fuerl on board......
this sounds like this is a mutual aid call i counted at least 4 stations at time index 9:53 i am a former wild land fire fighter with cal-Fire / butte county fire as a D9 cat opperator and i see your hauling tail when you can with as far out as you guys/gals came to arrive on scene was the house a total loss and how many alarms did they strike out on this fire also what battalion are you with and what city/township
How many different departments responded to this call...You went through 4 different communities in your 15 Mile jaunt, and I saw fire station signs in at least 2 of them, plus a ladder truck was coming out of a side road at 16:39, a few miles from the scene.. Either that was quite a fire or each department has only a few trucks..
hey Skankpronger i wanted to say if you honestly think they use the air horns to much come to my town we use em at every stop sign blind intersection and stoplights and we have permission if you block us to move your auto with our engine and you'll get a 5000 dollar fine plus jail for impeding an emergency vehicle
+sam lyon Some motorists are blind to the fact, that 10 tonnes of bright red metal are bearing down on them at 60mph or so ,i think that every bit of light and noise is needed,, not excess at all....
if you do that you will regret it more ways then one. who do you think you are and who gives you the authority.i know you have issues that why you join the fire company maybe lack of manhood?
Mad respect for you rural guy's and girl's for your dedication to the profession 😊
Who wants to watch a 20 min video of you driving? Whats so awesome about that.
1:42, I though a car had just hit the fire truck. Thank goodness that wasn't the case
Nice response guys
Best bit when the fire engine behind hit the wet patch and the camera suddenly went all over the place!!
They were not driving slow for one they have a tanker the roads are curvy dont want to roll it excellent job guys getting there safe
They were driving as fast and safely as possible. You have to remember the driver is responsible for the safety of those on the rigs.

In most jurisdictions emergency vehicles are only allowed 10 - 15 over the posted speed limit.

Do you guys still have the other Mack Engine?
Was the road extremely dirty or something? Because it looked like a lot of dust or whatever was coming up behind the front fire truck!
was that far?
I hate long rides and crappy radios. My longest was a mutual aid over run of over 30 minutes.
Good safe run guys!

At least 9 departments
@@hph445 why so many departments? Is each one that small ??
It's just how the chief officer has it set up for his box alarms.
