A slick, very well done opening scene. It wastes no time introducing us to Bond and showing us what he is willing to do for Queen and Country. And then its followed by what is, in my opinion, the best opening Bond title cards and intro song (at least until Skyfall)
definately the best Bond introduction of them all. Daniel Craig brings the bad ass kind of Bond that today's market expects and Casino Royal offers this and more. Can't wait for the sequal.
No coincidence that Martin Campbell has directed 2 of the best Bond movies, (this and GoldenEye). Needs to do another one soon. Would be a good way to bookend Craig's Bond.
I love the fight scenes in this and Quantum of Solace. Its so fast, frantic and messy that it actually looks like the actors are really trying to kill each other.
lets not forget a wonderful Malcolm Sinclair (mr. Dryden), a wonderful Simon Abkarian (Mr. Dimitrios), a wonderful Claudio Santamaria (Carlos), a wonderful Richard Sammel (Mr. Gettler), a wonderful Isaac de Bankolé (Mr. Obanno), a wonderful Sébastien Foucan (Mollaka) and a wonderful Jesper Christensen (Mr. White) a good set of co-actors makes the movie even better, so don't forget

Robot Chicken version:
Boy: I see. How did she die?
Santa: Your mother? Not well.
The opening credits gives me chills. Awesome.
When I watched this movie in cinema, I had been disappointed. But I changed my mind rapidly. It's one of the best Bond movies.
Fantastic intro to a fantastic Bond film
definately the best Bond introduction of them all.

amida41 Yes, they want to make a transition between Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig
so gritty, so smooth and so classic
It's a reply to his unfinished line. "The first kill is difficult but the second is easier".
Best bond intro ever, but I prefer the cover of the song by The Poets of the Fall.
Incredible, you have a good-sharped gaze.
3:14 Bond was pure badass in that moment. Loved how he had that cold stare while looking down on him.

Fantastic, well spotted. I wonder whether it's a subliminal message to trigger an emotional response (shock, sympathy etc.)
They just don't make sinks the way they used to...look at that shoddy craftsmanship!
i can't imagine any of the names considered for this role doing it as well as craig did.
Oh Bravo!
I also noticed while watching the premiere 2 years ago lol!
lol at the end. "Yes, considerably." easy xD
This is better than Quantum of Solace's intro
Touché
It's the English version which is sped up by 4 percent.
Casino Royale 2006 is more like the rebooted version of Dr. No.
lol, but they sure make awesome lamp posts.
Or the hand-dryer in True Lies.
totally want it
yes
Because its not that hard to figure out. You hear what he started to say and the manner in which he said it, what else was it going to be?
your welcome
Sony/Columbia Pictures/Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (2006)
It seems that the song's pitch is a little too high.
yeah sorry about the first 7 seconds though
man does anyone know where to get this version of the song?!?!
Tough gun barrel.
im looking for this version of the song
where can i get it
why does he say "yes, considerably..." after he shoots the guy with his pistol?
How do you know that?
Need This For Credit English
Tah!(Y)
I'm confused. How could you have someone who isn't British. Some people ain't got no goddamn sense!
Yeah but then you would have an excuse not to do it.
I have it if you want
Paul Newman..No.
Steve McQueen..Maybe.
