    Thankyou for all the informations. I am Italian, and I have been here in Korea for 20 years, Jeju island has a lot of similarities to my hometown Sicily so I have been thinking many time to move there with my husband and kids. The only thing that refrains me from deciding is my husband's job and mine too. I don't know what are the possibilities over there to find a good stable job. Is there a specific group that I can subscribe and get in touch with more foreigners? Thanks again.

    Thank you for the video and sharing your experiences!
    Could you tell me what is the cost of living ?
    From a western perspective are all necessities easily found?
    Thank you!

      @PatMaxAdventures  5 років тому +3

      The cost of living is very reasonable on Jeju island. Anything and just about everything you could get in the West you can get around Korea and Jeju.

    Do you think jeju would be a good place to live if you’re not much of a nature person? Are there enough shops and malls and cafes etc to enjoy ? Thanks

    • @PatMaxAdventures
      @PatMaxAdventures  2 роки тому +1

      Not much if your not a nature person. I would suggest Seoul l, Busan and other big cities on the mainland.

    Also how do you get plugged in to the foreigner events or groups? I’m a non Korean Asian so I feel I would have to introduce myself as non Korean to every other obvious foreigner if I were to find foreigner friends alone haha

    Job well done indeed Pat, kudos 2 U! JUST being half an hour of listening, any viewer would have learned so much from Ur video. I hope U get 2 teach as long as U want. Again, UNLIKE potentially deadly marine killers like sharks of at least 2 killer types like Great white, other killer shark, n MOST of all, MUCH more frequently encountering n thousands of lethal box jelly fish are NOT present Jeju Island something that visitors of Jeju Island might NOT even thinking about during summer time! Of course, there is NO poison water snake in Jeju Island either n plz do NOT forget 2 mention, in Ur revised n updated video that Jeju Island's volcano has been classified as LIVE volcano, EVEN though reactivation of volcanic eruption is highly unlikely, very very slim, {nice 2 know U or any tourist is visiting live volcanic mountain n its island; it is cool, don't U thing Pat? Yet, volcanic eruption has occurred only 9k years ago according to Wikipedia n that is why world geological organization has classified as live volcanic n there are volcanic lava went to the sea via from top of mountain n volcanic lava foot prints have been preserved obviously need to be mention so adding ANOTHER dimension MORE to see Jeju Island, PLUS anyone can hike up Jeju volcanic mountain, near top, but NOT summit due to preserve the summit, to be able to see top of jeju volcanic mountain! U see, safe shore line around Jeju island that U were able to snorkel around in Ur other video n U enjoyed, safety is everything of course, without EVEN thinking about deadly marine creatures is something we all are taking 4 granted, but no tourist will not be in Australian beaches are littered with deadly creatures ALL around, just fact, n they are potentially deadly beaches, plus scorpion n list continues in deadly killers around all OVER the Australian beaches n inland n baking outback where one can dry to death...

      Thank you for the comment! Actually the waters around Jeju Island are very safe! I have never heard of any shark attacks here and there have been no shark sightings around Jeju Island. There are jellyfish, but they aren't the ones that will kill. Again, sharks are not an issue at all on Jeju island, but jelly fish are so make sure to watch out for them. Also Hallasan mountain is not an active volcano and hasn't been for hundreds of years. It's a dormant volcano, which means it has the potential to become active again, but hasn't shown any sign of activity for hundreds of of years. Jeju Island is nothing like Australia when it comes to animals and land scape. Jeju Island has very safe waters and and a very safe environment. You'll be just fine if you visit here.

    What's your assessment of the chance of Jeju Island being attacked yet again in a military confrontation? Does the tense situation between the U.S. and DPRK have any possibility of turning into a shooting war with Jeju becoming another 'Pearl Harbor' due to its having a naval base.
    How does the cost of living in Honolulu compare to that of Jeju Island? As I recall, Honolulu was much more expensive than the continental U.S.

    • @PatMaxAdventures
      @PatMaxAdventures  7 років тому +2

      Jeju Island is very far from North Korea and situated between China and Japan. It would be the last place NK would want to and try to strike. Jeju island is actually the safest place to live in Korea when it comes to worries about war with NK.
      The cost of living on Jeju island is much cheaper than Hawaii! Jeju is not far from the mainland of Korea and Hawaii is over 2,000 miles away from any land in each directio, so imports are much more expensive there. Housing prices on Jeju Island are becoming a lot more expensive though.
