Japan's three major fire festivals, "Taimatsu Akashi" - strange festival that has continued 400 yrs

Taimatsu Akashi is a traditional event that has continued since the time of Date Masamune. This is my first time visiting. When I think of fire festivals, I think of the Wajima Festival and the Cherry Blossom Fire Festival, but they are too far from Tohoku to go. I learned that there is a magnificent fire festival here in Sukagawa without having to go that far. It is a traditional event that continues with the support of many people, and I would like to continue to watch over it with care.

わぁ地元のお祭りが。
ご紹介ありがとうございますー。
30年昔にはウォークスルーとかなくて、
会場周りの土の斜面によじ登り、燃え尽きるまでじっと観てたりしたものです。
（そしてそんなに人が混んでもなかった）
細かいことを言うとまぁ伊達政宗の時代に由来を持つのは本当、
ただしその政宗に攻め滅ぼされたことの鎮魂祭なのですけどぅー。
（まぁこの時以外は普通に好きですけどね、奥州筆頭サマ）
