A neat trick I've heard to prevent that explosion of plastic and springs when you open up the Kronos is to prime the blaster first before unscrewing it all. Same trick for putting it all back together. I believe it was Bradley Phillips who showed this.

Yup I did this with the second one I opened. And yes you can do the same when putting it back together, but not really need with the k26 since you don't have much pre-compression.

Awesome. I'm glad you do. =) They definitely felt like the right thing to do when i was trying out the kronos with a double spring.
I may have to copy this mod as I love how they turned out. Also helps that I cosplay as the Punisher anyway haha

+Naptown Nerf They really are! I wish I could post a pic. black greehas grips, red door delete mods from foam technician. I have a white k26 Kronos with the 6th shot modand the greehas grip, but I did not go k26 on these. I went with Apollo springs, and I'm still on the fence about doin the 6 shot mod on the them.
+Virginia Death oh oh, Apollo springs give you like 110-115.
+Virginia Death may be able to squeeze a bit more with Teflon tape in the system.
+Virginia Death I totally want to do a k25 kronos, to see if I can get relative performance to k26, with a bit smoother prime.

As a Punisher cosplayer, I have to say this is enjoyable to see.
Just gonna say, if you don't wear that gear to End War...... I'm going to lose all respect for you. Just saying man LoL
lol It would be a very light loadout since there is very little Molle webbing attach things to.
So basically you made the Punisher's better in every way than the normal promos for sure, although I think it is better than the Deadpoo l ones.
Longshot springs go great in this blaster usually without any modifications needed
Kronos springs are exactly the same size as stampede springs. Foam Freaks 9kg stampede spring would probably be a pretty decent upgrade.

Thanks. FPS is to high for Endwar or I would use it. May have to make one that's dialed back a tad.
FPS for Endwar is 130 FPS unless they have changed that rule.
Isn't that "dead space" you filled with padding technically lowering the air volume in the chamber?
I wonder what type of velocity a kronos would get with some barrel and a 14kg spring. ( sorry by the english)
Hi i did this mod to two blasters..... i planned to make a matched pair.....i didnt put k26 in either blaster yet but i did fill the base of piston with 5 min epoxy to fill the void.... both blasters feed fine in the magazine tubes....one shoots fine but one blaster has balls getting stuck at the front of the barrel....sometimes it shoots fine.... any ideas?
Punished a cool but dark marvel character and I getting my first kronos grip for priming it

Awesome! That can take many spring upgrades, unlike the Lumanate unfortunately. I like putting a 10 KG retaliator turf spring in mine.
