You supposed to lift off the accelerator between gear changes for the R Tronic, it makes it smoother and saves clutch wear... it is a very rewarding transmission as you still have to work but none of the drawbacks of having to press a heavy clutch pedal.
I would take this transmission over the dual clutch due to the neck snapping shift in sports mode, just like the Aventador with the infamous but delicious isr automated manual. I.m.o
I have never loved or liked the R8 even tho I’m a Audi guy until one day I was given the opportunity to drive one (I drove a 2012 R8 V10 performance) and man I fell in love

I've done videos like this in the past, nothing new. Some super/sport cars are more of a pain to daily than others for various reason. Ground clearance, transmission, visibility, etc. This just gives me a different angle to go about making a video. That's all.
High end job (ex. Software Development).... Pro athlete... business ownership.... become plumber for a few years and build up your experience??? There's plenty more but you'll have to do some homework
