For example Panda-Mei looks like a regular panda, besides its eyes, they are purple. Just like her signature color. If not colored eyes and/or, they have references like Quan Chi being a skeleton dinosaur. Fits him perfectly. If you look at it a second time you find little representation for everyone. (Couldn’t find any reference for Sektor or Kung Lao)

Given how realistic these animals look and how the engine with PS5 works with it and the transformations into animals, if they ever do injustice 3, they no longer have an excuse to not put beast boy in the game

The Lao one is underated heavily. Its the best out of the non-goofy ones. The face melt and spine rip is brutal, the fact the head didnt just pop in its jaws makes it so visceral. Top 5 for me
I'm like 90% certain the snake snapping someone's neck by constricting them and then twisting their body while holding their head in place with its mouth is a reference to Anaconda (the movie that is), and that makes it automatically one of the best for me. That's one of my all-time favorite killer animal movies.

Sub-Zero: An animal known for its affinity with ice, but also because Bi-Han typically charges in, weapons out, looking to fight brutally. Scorpion: ...it's not only his given name, but also his fighting style. Li Mei: A deadly force with a soft side, likely also of Chinese origin (or Outworld's equivalent). Kenshi: The leader of a pack (family of ex-Yakuza), and guided by ancestral instinct. Ermac: "We are many, you are one." Rain: Tends to puff up his own ego. Likely also a reference to an MK9 fatality. Sektor: She tends to charge into kombat without regard for personal safety. Noob: Fitting that it's with a creature that slips through the water as if it were shadow. Also, a reference to Make A Wish from MK9. Shang Tsung: He's a snake in human form with how much he lies and cons his way through life. Omni-Man: The Hail Mary is able to kill Viltrumites. Also props for making a reference back to Invincible. Geras: Big, strong, passive, but likely to kill you. Quan Chi: He's a necromancer, so of course he'd use a dead animal. Mileena: She's known for being a man-eater. Kitana: Fast, graceful, and deadly. Liu Kang: A fiery god who rose a new timeline from the ashes of the older one. Takeda: Tends to coil up opponents with tethers (like tentacles). General Shao: Big, strong, aggressive, and VERY WILLING to kill you if you even look at him funny. Tanya: Tends to use a weapon capable of reaching father than her limbs can, but also seems like she's of African descent. Sindel: Tends to wrap her opponents up and possibly lift them off the ground. Also due to her queenly status. Reiko: Always willing to charge into kombat headfirst, because he knows he can do harm first. Smoke: Supposedly a reference to "Gorillas in the Mist", as well as how King Kong tore a kaiju's jaw. Reptile: A plant known for having a terrifying bite (for bugs at least), since he's already half animal. Johnny Cage: As a Hollywood actor, he just HAD to get in a Jaws reference. Kung Lao: Prideful, but tends to be outclassed by someone barely above him. Nitara: Vampire symbolism. Havik: Chaotic and ravenous, always scheming to get his next fix. In my school vr game, Goalius Fatality is scary (He teleports victim to the food bank from Pacman and the Ghostly adventures show and uses the G Veronica abyss virus to turn into the Levthiathen from the Dead Space Remake and uses the Tentacles to rip the victim to pieces and devoured it before a teaser shot of Isaac Clark arriving)
I'm Actually Surprised That Nobody Turned Into A Mythical Dragon And If I'd Had An Animality I Would've Wanted To Turn Into A Big Vicious Lion With Big Huge Teeth.
Top 5 Animalities in my opinion 1. Quan Chi- skeleton T-Rex and the body ends up going right through them cause he's a skeleton. 2. Peacemaker- The most american one ever. the attention to detail with every animality is really well done like kenshis wolf being blind in eyes and a packmate being sento. Ermacs being a plague of locusts very biblical and fitting for the horde character and Peacemaker using his own buddy with him and being the most peacemaker style victory they did a great job with these here's hoping one of the other 3 unlockable characters of the pass has the penguin animality cheers for the vid^^

I'm in a similar situation but with Cyrax's; truthfully I just didn't watch it because I've got a bee phobia and am not subjecting my eyes to a giant realistic bee when I can barely handle regular ones
i like how some of the times they get creative with characters like shang tsung and sindel and sometimes they just doesn't care and throw in a big ass predator that mauls them to death
They should’ve given Subzero Scorpion’s penguin animality from MK Trilogy, it was so funny and a great reference for the long time fans. Also, any predictions for the the Ghostface, T1000, and Conan animalities
That flytrap is also the ultimate Poison Ivy move in Injustice 2 The Sindel is a kind of little hint to the violet spider from Wukong (Don't know if it was intended but that's what I see) Shang Tsung transformed into a cobra from the past too, but his animality reference a bit to the anaconda film the way he twists the head and squeezes. And Quan Chi did the skeleton T-Rex in the past too so it made sense, the same with scorpions animality.

I get that the penguin was a forced decision because Sheeva was already a scorpion, but honestly the penguin is way funnier because you don’t expect it
Hot Take here: I would honestly MUCH rather have Scorpion turn into an actual giant scorpion instead of a penguin with exploding eggs since it basically makes more sense for his character and actually fits his namesake. Scorpion’s new Animality in my opinion goes in S Tier both for how he utilizes his new animal form (that being stabbing the opponent multiple times with his stinger and then throwing them and slicing them in half with his pincers) and for the fact the finally turns into a scorpion this time around.
"It's way bigger than I thought" Yeah, it's also *way* smaller than the original kaiju. Hail Mary in the Invincible TV Series is 5 times the size of the Animality.

Hot Take here: I would honestly MUCH rather have Scorpion turn into an actual giant scorpion instead of a penguin with exploding eggs since it basically makes more sense for his character and actually fits his namesake.
Scorpion’s new Animality in my opinion goes in S Tier both for how he utilizes his new animal form (that being stabbing the opponent multiple times with his stinger and then throwing them and slicing them in half with his pincers) and for the fact the finally turns into a scorpion this time around.
